[Chapter—7]

—1 Week later.

It's been a week since I've gotten in Hocus City, in that time I've made myself at home in this place I've made my room in this hotel that I've rented in actually liveable.

I've bought a laptop, a phone and other necessary items to make my living in this place easier.

And in the time I've been here I've done a lot, I've learnt how demon society works, I've found places of notice and what and what not to do, I've even marked a public demon library and a public magic library too in this place a place I'll make full use of with my talent.

Stretching my limbs as stood from my chair and table with my laptop on it showing documents and the such.

I've had to order documents for myself in this place because as weird as it is even a demon needs an ID and other items, I didn't have one because I had been poached by the Evil God clan and entered into their clan and was just another demon to them and I didn't need these in the first place but now that I'm in a place where these matter I have ordered them and all I need to do is go to the demon registry office and get my shit along with my digital card and I'll be a certified demon…kinda.

Walking to my bed I plopped on it with a groan as I had been awake for 7 days straight and it seems that my body is complaining as I hadn't had a lick of sleep since I got here.

' oh I haven't even submitted my system rating yet…how stupid of me.' remembering that I hadn't claimed my rewards for the system I created from the examination in the clan yet I opened my storage space and took out my worn out System and immediately as I grabbed it a screen appeared Infront of my eyes.

Looking at the rating and the amount of rewards I gained I smiled and then looking at the soul coins I gained my eye twitched for a second.

' probably should have accepted my rewards after the examination huh?…well I guess I should book a better place to rent then this shit hole.' I thought with shake of my head before I clicked on all the items to look at their description, items that are given by the system reward program come with descriptions.

[Blood Magic Experience Tome [Lv-70]: An experience tome containing the knowledge of blood magic and by using this time you are able to learn blood magic to the 70th level immediately.]

[X-Gene Enhancement Serum[S-]: An X-Gene Enhancement Serum created by a scientist in a world not that far away with the intent of creating a serum able to strengthen the already existing X-Gene abilities of his partners and nation if a person doesn't have an X-Gene they will awaken one.]

[Heart Of Mutation[SSS+]: A heart of an artificially created mutant that had the ability to mutate and grow stronger with by devouring things to use as a catalyst for said mutation, but after a gruesome experiment with an elien virus this heart became the cause of an extinction even in another world.]

[Hero Ranked Soul×3: Hero ranked soul, a soul blessed by fortune containing great soul power inside it.]

[Body Enhancement Serum[S+]: An enhancement created by a demon in secret in a world where mutants had finally gained a home away from eyes filled with disgust able to make anyone a superhuman in their own right.]

Looking at all these rewards I grinned.

' this is gonna be fun' i thought before I used the blood magic experience tome and immediately a book appeared Infront of me coloured blood red before dissapearing and getting absorbed inside my head along with every spell knowledge and blood manipulation magic inside which had immediately gotten comprehended.

Opening my eyes after I had closed them to feel how the stream of knowledge entered my head I then looked at the other rewards and used the void flame ability which came in the form of a void black crystal which shattered and entered my body and instantly I felt a connection with something inside of me that was a bit warn but I ignored it and looked at the other rewards and then decided to use them later after getting an apartment and reading up on the magic library tomorrow.

So with that in mind I walked to my laptop and looked up a good hotel besides the magic library and found one for a cheap price of 50 soul coins a week making me smile before I booked a room and walked to my bathroom to take a shower so I could begin packing my shit and going to the place.

' no rest for the wicked huh?' i thought with a smile as felt the grey warm water hitting my caramel skin.

'i should probably buy an awakening potion soon…' i thought about buying an awakening potion soon because you need it to awaken your bloodline abilities and gain your demonic form, I already have a demonic form but it's the default demon form that every demon has if they haven't refined and awakened their bloodline yet of which is done by using a potion that is expensive as shit.

Shaking my head I decided to make plans for that later.

Walking towards my clothes I wore a new set and started packing and after packing everything I walked to the door and walked off going to my new apartment.

—A day later.

Waking up in my comfortable new silk bed I groaned in delight before I stood up feeling all my energy had returned back to me making me giddy and standing up I started walking off wearing some clothes before I grabbed my apartment keys and made my way towards the door with the sole thought of going to the library.

—2 hours later.

Flipping through the multiple books on soul magic I could find while absorbing as much knowledge as I could from them using my talent felt exhilarating but since some of these books were copies of some I had already absorbed in the academy library I had to sift through them finding those I hadn't absorbed yet and it took me while since this library was way bigger then the one in the academy which is great for me as there are multiple branches of magic in this place but they were all ended at medium ranked magic books and no advanced or master rabked ones so I guess I'll need to find some and I already had the perfect place.

—9 hours.

Finishing absorbing the last book I had started reading I smiled at the branches of magic i had discovered and reinforced by absorbing as many books as possible in their branch of magic leading me to this.

Looking at my skills I finally realised how bullshit my talent was, able to learn skills by just absorbing them on books was such a cheat because normal people would have to do practice that skill for days before they could see any progress in their status and here I was almost maxed in some in just half a month's time.

'…I'm never telling anyone about this talent.' I thought with a smile and some of my mundane mortal skills leveled up because some magic books had advanced knowledge about things related to them making them level up too.

Smiling at the amount of skills I had I closed the screen and made my way back home.
