The Accuser Ronan gazed at Rhodes in horror, yet Rhodes remained unaffected by the terrifying atmospheric pressure. After all, this space was created by Rhodes himself, and its rules were bound to his existence within this realm.
Alone, it couldn't exert any influence on Rhodes, the creator.
Ronan the Accuser began to bleed from his orifices, and his armor couldn't withstand the intense space pressure, beginning to shatter.
Even the parasitic Venom, without a specific form, began to scream in pain. Although Venom existed in the form of a parasite, it was difficult for ordinary power to completely destroy it. Yet this space was all-encompassing, capable of covering Venom's entire body and providing the power of terrifying spatial pressure.
Not even Venom could withstand it.
Venom opened its gaping mouth and began to roar. It quickly detached from the Accuser Ronan's body, attempting to invade Rhodes's body.
Venom knew that the only way to survive in this space was to parasitize Rhodes.
Even in its liquid-like form, it couldn't withstand the tremendous pressure, which could compress everything into a molecular state.
This was simply unbearable for Venom.
Although it had the ability to enhance the host's strength by hundreds of times, Venom itself wasn't very formidable aside from being difficult to kill.
And the method Rhodes was currently using was one of the few forces that could pose a fatal threat to Venom.
However, Rhodes halted Venom's rush towards him.
Venom was trapped in the space in its liquid form, unable to move at all.
As Ronan the Accuser separated from Venom, his strength instantly reverted to its original form.
Ronan the Accuser's power plummeted, unable to withstand the pressure of the surrounding space.
He yelled as he watched Venom leave his body, "No, don't leave me!"
But Venom was firmly imprisoned in place by Rhodes with space confinement. Even if Venom wanted to return, it was already impossible.
Ronan the Accuser's eyeballs couldn't bear the terrifying pressure and instantly exploded.
Then his body was completely shattered, and the sound of bone fragments and liquid splashing could be clearly heard.
Ronan the Accuser's body twisted like a towel.
The liquid from Ronan the Accuser's body splashed out but was then pressed back by strong pressure, causing his huge body to shrink rapidly.
Eventually, only a soybean-sized form remained.
However, the compression didn't stop there. Ronan's body continued to shrink until it was compressed by the force of space into a molecular state.
He completely disappeared without a trace.
Rhodes squeezed Ronan the Accuser into molecules, leaving no trace of his body.
Meanwhile, Venom struggled to resist due to its own attributes, but its current volume was only the size of a palm.
The palm-sized black liquid floated in the air, constantly shifting into various forms. This wasn't what Venom wanted, but it was forced to undergo such extreme deformation due to the immense air pressure.
Venom begged Rhodes for mercy. "Please, don't kill me. I'm willing to surrender to you. You can ask me to do anything."
Rhodes observed Venom's plea. "No, that's not acceptable. Since you dared to accompany Ronan the Accuser and cause trouble for me in Asgard, you must face the consequences. Do you realize the damage done to Asgard? Repairing it is a tedious task, requiring considerable effort."
Rhodes contemplated the amount of work needed to restore Asgard to its original state, leaving Venom speechless.
Without waiting for Venom to respond, Rhodes used the power of space to crush Venom's body into molecules.
Then, Rhodes released his hold on space.
At that moment, Ronan the Accuser had perished in battle. However, a few of Ronan's remaining powerful subordinates had been parasitized by formidable parasites and continued causing chaos on the battlefield.
For instance, one of Ronan's subordinates had been parasitized by the leader of the parasites, Riot.
At that moment, Ronan's subordinates had no control over the parasite leader, Riot, on his body. Riot transformed into an enormous parasite, rampaging uncontrollably across Asgard.
With a single sweep of Riot, more than a dozen of Asgard's main defenders were swept away.
Rhodes remarked, "Seems like you're having a tough time."
With a gesture from Rhodes, the formidable force of space locked Riot and the other rampaging parasites in place. None of these parasites could withstand such terrifying power.
In an instant, everything was reduced to molecules, not even worthy of being turned into fragments.
Seeing their leaders, Ronan the Accuser and Riot, both perished, the remaining parasites panicked and fled towards outer space.
They never intended to sacrifice themselves for Ronan the Accuser in the first place. Their parasite leader, Riot, only formed a partnership with Ronan the Accuser to leave their planet. In order to do so, they needed to parasitize Ronan's subordinates.
But now, not only Ronan the Accuser but even their leader, Riot, had been killed.
Terrified by Rhodes' strength, this group of parasites quickly detached from the bodies of Ronan's subordinates, parasitized random objects nearby, and fled towards outer space.
Over five million parasites flew away like a swarm, resembling a reverse rain rushing rapidly from the ground into the sky.
Rhodes observed the parasites fleeing in panic and had no interest in personally destroying them. Moreover, their numbers were significant, and in the blink of an eye, many of them had escaped.
However, Rhodes had no intention of letting these parasites escape, and he planned to deal with them later. At the moment, his primary concern was the extent of the damage suffered by Asgard.
Upon seeing Rhodes return and defeat Ronan the Accuser, whom they were unable to contend with, along with the fleeing parasites, the Lord God Warriors of Asgard erupted into cheers.
Thor, the God of Thunder, who had been previously humiliated by Ronan the Accuser, was filled with anger. Now that Ronan was dead, Thor raised his hammer and unleashed a barrage of lightning into the sky. The dense lightning struck down many parasites, rendering them unable to fend for themselves.
The parasites themselves are quite fragile without a host to enhance their strength. While they may not be directly killed by Thor's lightning, it would certainly incapacitate them.
Large chunks of parasites, their bodies crackling with electric arcs, crashed to the ground, twitching uncontrollably.
Rhodes teleported to Hela and Thor, joining them.
The remaining Asgardian gods, who had suffered heavy casualties, also gathered.
More than half of the Asgardian gods had been killed, and those who remained were wounded. Despite being the primary force against the parasitic army, they had also been targeted by Ronan the Accuser's electromagnetic waves.
Baldr, the God of Light, now only had one arm remaining, the other having been destroyed by Ronan the Accuser. Covered in a golden glow, Baldr's face bore the shame of defeat, his missing arm a stark reminder of the battle's toll.
While initially excited by Rhodes' victory over Ronan the Accuser and the salvation of Asgard, the Asgardian gods soon grew somber, reflecting on the losses suffered in the battle.
This time, Asgard suffered a devastating blow.
Despite its millions-strong Lord God Legion, Asgard was overwhelmed by Ronan the Accuser's parasitic legion of over five million.
Loki saluted Rhodes as he approached.
"Master Rhodes, you've returned at last."
Rhodes nodded in acknowledgment.
"Well, you've all fought bravely in this battle."
Bell limped over, bearing numerous wounds across his body. His left arm had been torn off by a parasite during the exhaustion of divine power.
Bell spoke with a smile.
"Lord Rhodes, your return is a relief. We've missed you dearly."
Rhodes observed the battered state of his loyal follower.
With a smile, he remarked, "You're truly resilient, my friend. Did five million Lord Gods fail to finish you off?"
Bell chuckled in response, "Haha, Lord Rhodes, if you had returned any later, you might not have found me alive."
Rhodes reassured him, "No, you're like a cockroach, impossible to kill."
Curious, Bell inquired, "Master Rhodes, what's a cockroach?"
Rhodes explained wryly, "Just a nuisance, one that refuses to die no matter what."
Understanding Rhodes' jest, Bell joined in laughter.
Addressing the soldiers of the Asgard Lord God Legion, who had endured a catastrophic defeat and suffered heavy losses, Rhodes spoke.
"Everyone has put in tremendous effort this time," Rhodes acknowledged.
With a gesture, Rhodes summoned a powerful wave of temporal energy that swiftly swept across all the assaulted territories of Asgard.
The force of time rapidly rewound, bringing back to life the Asgardian gods and soldiers who had fallen in battle, restoring them to the timeline before their demise.
A multitude of Asgardian warriors swiftly reappeared in the open space surrounding them.
Bell and the others watched in astonishment as their fallen comrades, with whom they had fought side by side, were resurrected. Tears welled in their eyes with the overwhelming emotion of seeing those they thought they had lost forever returned to life.
The arms of Bell and Balder, the God of Light, regenerated, and the damaged buildings of Asgard around them quickly returned to their former glory.
The wreckage and debris of the shattered buildings swiftly reassembled, reminiscent of a movie played in reverse.
Asgard regained its former splendor and grandeur, appearing just as it had before the battle with the parasitic legion.
For the resurrected Asgardian warriors, it felt like they had been given a second chance at life, and they were overcome with joy. Many who had experienced the harrowing battle were filled with emotion.
Some soldiers covered their faces and wept, while others knelt on the ground, overcome with excitement, and cried out in relief.
But above all, there was a sense of triumph in victory.
With Rhodes's return, order was restored to Asgard. The threat of the parasitic legion had been averted, and the Kerry Empire was brought under control.
Rhodes then issued a galaxy-wide wanted order, offering a handsome reward to anyone who captured a parasite. They were encouraged to come to Asgard to claim their bounty.
