After dealing with Thompson and parting ways with Peter, the man who returned home locked himself in here. A man's word must count. Chop the scallions into sections, slice the ginger; chop the ribs into 4-centimeter-long pieces, wash and drain, mix with a little soy sauce and water starch, and fry in hot oil until golden and then set aside. Then, Ethan took out a bag of rock sugar from the refrigerator, added vegetable oil to it, and fried the ingredients in the pot. Waiting for the rock sugar to completely melt and for the sweet yet not cloying fragrance to mix with the scallions and ginger, Ethan immediately added the fried ribs into the pot with water to stew.

Watching the water boil, Ethan turned the heat to the lowest, washed his hands, and walked towards his roommate Skae's room.

"Hey, Skae, it's time to eat."

"The braised ribs you promised me, I don't owe you."

"Okay, I believe you," the little beauty nodded. Then the atmosphere became silent.

Ethan rolled his eyes, put away his joking attitude, and then asked seriously, "Who do you want to meet? Why?", Skae also became serious. Then she furrowed her eyebrows and said, "I'm an orphan, you know. But I've been looking for my parents."

"However... they seem to have evaporated from this world. I've checked all the population management agencies and intelligence bureaus, but I can't find any information about them.
