9. Till 1000 CE

During the period between 300 BCE AND 1000 CE I took up many identities as general in many countries, Kingdoms and Empires and saved their populace from the Christian missionaries send to convert others forcefully and Islamic zealots.

I saved many religions from going extinct, I didn't saved some of the barbaric religion like the native Arabs. But I stopped their zealotry there and didn't let them destroy the other cultures and religion that are way older than them.

I saved the native religion from the so called peaceful conversion of a ruler conquering the area or converting heirs of kingdom when they were young who later promoted Christianity.

Later when the Europeans and Arabs realising the uselessness of their lands and started to look for more productive and resource rich lands and tried to conquer and colonize them, I again stopped them.

The next time I took birth in my own family was during 1000 CE when invaders like Mohammed Ghazni and Ghori will come. The first thing I did was restricting army. The elephants were temperorily removed from active service in North Western and Western fronts because of lack of feed and water availability there in those areas and they will make the rest of the army slow.

Making a centralised military structure and an imperial army consisting of 25 % army of all the kingdoms under me. It was made easier because in earlier generation they divided the empire into states and made our most loyal kingdoms their overseer or second in rank just below the Crown Prince /Princess and Emperor / Empress.

This centralised structure would help in future in implementing guns and cannons more efficiently. But right now I mostly employed Roman Phalanx with our Bharati formations.

During these time, Bharat has been trading with almost every empire and kingdom with a coastline in all Europe Africa and Asia. Bharati traders were so skilled in seafaring with their deep knowledge of tides, sea and wind during these times that they were able to finish year long journeys in months.

The demand for our textiles in Europe and Asia is very high. They don't have anything that could match our textiles in their empires.

In military technology as guns and cannons are yet to be invented, cold weapons and thus steel is the main things in defence exports and imports. And Bharati steel is the best in the current world and has been for thousands of years. They even bought it from Arabs when we exported it to them before we directly captured the market there and started trading with them directly.

Along with these, the export of spices, which is used in preserving meat and enhancing taste is another highly valuable commodity which can only be grown in South East Asia after Bharat, but colonization has not reached there yet and will never reach it if I have any say in it.

Not only that glass, Persian carpets, silks, antiques, jwellery, diamonds, gems and precious stones are the main exports of the empire.

In geopolitics, after the spread of Christianity and Islam started, it again encompassed and become the major religion of big areas. The remaining Persian empire after my conquest crumbled and the parsis either fled to the area of Iran called Parus or were converted.

Similarly, Christianity spread in whole Europe. It wasn't able to wipe out whole religions but we're still able to convert most of the population and the practitioners of native religion either fled to small kingdoms that still practice them or were forcefully converted or killed.

The whole area of Middle East or to be exact South West Asia from Turkey to Oman and Yemen has been Islamised and now follow Islamism.

Similarly, whole of Europe other than some small countries has been converted to Christianism. The small countries include Greece, Italy, Scandinavian countries, Ireland and Scotland, which has not been conquered by any Christian country due to their alliance and a few more.

America's has not yet been discovered, so no one knows about the two continents in the west on the world map. Well no one other than Bharati as we have mention of the Americas in our epic Mahabharat based on which the first world map was drawn by us which was highly accurate according to that time was drawn.

I want to help the America but unfortunately there religion is too decided between tribe to tribe and there is no common ground between them. Only North America can be helped due to the Mayan and Aztec civilisation.

As for Africa, I have been silently encouraging it's various small empire and kingdoms from behind the scenes to expand their empire inwards without going in other empires territory. With this they will have more resources, which means better economy and military might in future.

As for Bharat, some invaders finally developed some balls and came to attack our Gandahar region (Afghanistan) but were swiftly dealt with. I didn't went to conquer them right now as I left them to provide this country some experience so that they don't become complacent and they don't learn only honourable warfare but also learn the reality of war and that is everything is fair in war.

But I didn't leave without any conquests. I decided to extend the borders in the north and north-east by capturing the whole Himalayan range. Why should I leave our pilgrimage sites in the hands of foreigners that are destined to be defeated and captured.

I am not going to help Tibet with China in any way without any personal benefit. Afterall Tibet doesn't have anything too valuable to offer and it is essentially a cold and mountainous desert other than some valleys. Afterall I will have what we want from it with just the Himalayan range.

In this instead of utilising whole army like I actually conquered the Bharat, I only used the experienced commanders from North and North East frontier who know how to utilise mountainous region efficiently for defence and how to counter these advantages.

So after a brief war with Tibet, the Himalayan range completely came under Bhartiya control as agreed in the treaty between me and the current Dalai Lama.
