Chapter 56 Something going on

Anna looked at Sullivan with eyes full of curiosity.

She wanted to know more about him, of course not in the same way as Jean. He was the first one that could withstand her power.

He told her that her power was still working on him but because he had high resistance to her power so he was fine with it.

Jean saw the look on Anna's face and she immediately said.

"Sullivan was a special case so don't expect him to have the solution to help you. but you can ask him directly maybe He could help you."

Jean wasn't jealous. She knew Anna. She needed help just like she was in the past.

Anna nodded her head but she still didn't say anything. She needed some time to think things through.

Jean sighed. Anna had the same problem as her. she can not control her power but the damage she could cause was small unlike her power that tended to destroy things.

"Let's go"

Now Sullivan was in the driver seats ready to move out. Kurt and Kitty were sitting inside on the back seats. Ororo waiting for them to go in first.

Jean and Anna then went inside followed by Ororo.

Anna looked at Sullivan who was sitting in the driver seat with his bored face. She now knew why Jean fell for him.

Even though he was driving a supercar. He didn't boast about it instead He felt uncomfortable like he wanted to drive a cheaper car.

two minute later. There was something in the sky. And yes It's a flying car.

"Wow that's amazing"

Kurt looked outside the window with amazement. He didn't think the car could fly.

"Yeah! This is the first time I am riding in a flying car"

Kitty also felt the same as Kurt.

Anna and Ororo even though the two didn't show it. Everyone knew that they were at least surprised when the car started to levitate.

"No one seems to see us."

Ororo noticed that no one looked their way.

"It is one of his powers."

Jean answered for Sullivan. She knew he didn't want to talk much about his power because He knew if he answered they would need more answers. and it will be troublesome.

One hour passed and they reached their destination, The morning star's internet cafe.

"So this is your internet cafe?"

Kurt asked with a little bit of a boring tone.

"Yeah"

Outside the building it has only a sign and a door, that's all. and when Sullivan brought him inside his mind explored!

"This is so much different from outside! like inside is heaven and outside is hell!"

How can it be so different? Everything inside the cafe was top tier while outside was plain and shady.

"That's the intent only the chosen one will find my internet cafe."

Sullivan said with pride.

Miles, who was working now greeted them. Sullivan looked at Miles.

He was looking depressed. Sullivan instantly knew something was going on with him.

"Hey why are you looking so depressed dude"

Sullivan asked him.

Miles looked at Jean and the others. If it was only Jean then he would speak with Sullivan.

Sullivan knew that it must be something he wanted to keep secret like he was a Spiderboy.

"Come with me to the back room."

Sullivan sent a look to Jean. She nodded back at him before tending to her friends.

Inside the back room after he closed the door.

He said to Miles.

"What happened?"

Sullivan asked directly but He didn't need an answer when he saw there were many people in the back room eating pizza.

"Oh humm Peter is that you…and why are you so fat? Just two days ago that you visited me you were still in shape at that time. and you all…"

There was a belly fat Peter. A kid with a robot. A woman with a weird hair style. A pig with a wet hand and A black and white man in a spider suit playing with a rubric.

What the hell was going on when he wasn't here.

"I can explain."

Sullivan looked at Miles. He looked very guilty. Sullivan let him explain what was going on to him.

Sullivan who heard what he said was immediately angry.

His brother almost died. If it wasn't for Miles to help him in time. He might not make it.

"Thank you"

Sullivan thanked him. Miles shook his head.

"It's what friends are for. Umm and about people here "

"They can stay of course."

Miles was relife. He didn't know where he could hide them except here. No one can come here If they have malicious intent. Sullivan had his magic to ward off bad people. So this was the best hideout he could find.
