Chapter Seventy-One

"Tony, you may have won, but don't get too complacent. I'm not going to die; I'll just end up in jail. But mark my words, I'll definitely come back!" Obadiah roared with fierce determination.

Thor sneered, "What an idiot. No wonder he's only been a second-rate player all these years." He cast a glance at Stark.

Stark looked at the man who had been with the company for over thirty years with a conflicted expression and hesitated. "He's powerless to resist now. We should turn him over to the authorities..."

Thor interrupted him. "You're the idiot here. No wonder you've been stuck in a rut for so long. Use your brain—if you can manage it. Given his identity, the chance of a death penalty is almost zero. This guy holds numerous secrets about Stark Industries. Even if he's sentenced to life imprisonment, many will try to get him out."

Tony's face turned pale. He knew this was true, but it was hard for him to accept the reality of it.

Thor added, "It's fine to let him go. Let him sell more weapons to the warlords in the Middle East. Maybe he'll end up with a few more enemies."

Thinking of Ethan's sacrifice, Stark felt uneasy again. He nodded slowly, resolute in his decision.

Tony finally pulled out his pistol and gave Obadiah a hit.

Seeing Stark's despondence, Thor decided to leave him alone and walked away.

When the cause of Obadiah's death was finally announced, it was reported as a plane crash.

The real truth was kept secret.

If the public learned that Obadiah, the second-in-command at Stark Industries, had secretly colluded with terrorists and provided them with numerous weapons, it wouldn't just damage Stark Industries' reputation—it would severely impact the government's international standing.

Although their reputation was already questionable.

At the press conference, Tony read from a prepared statement handed to him by Rhodes. However, a reporter interrupted him with questions. When pressed, Tony responded, "I'm not a hero. Clearly, I have many flaws and have made numerous mistakes, and the impact of my actions has been negative..."

Rhodes leaned in and reminded him, "Just stick to the script."

Tony nodded, glanced at the manuscript, then looked up and said slowly, "Actually, I am Iron Man."

Rhodes, seeing Tony's change of mind, could only shake his head in resignation.

After dealing with the swarm of reporters, Tony returned to the backstage, where Thor greeted him with a smile and teased, "Should I call you nephew now, or Iron Man?"

Stark's mood darkened. The satisfaction he had felt earlier had vanished. He would rather deal with the reporters than face this elder who enjoyed asserting his seniority...

"What are you doing here?" Tony asked, his expression darkening.

"It's not a big deal. I saved your life last night and didn't get a thank you? Come on, hurry up..."

Tony's frown deepened. "I didn't think you'd be this petty. Tell me what you want." He forced the conversation back on track.

Thor's expression grew serious. "The armor, in a way, is also a weapon. If it gets out, the consequences could be worse than those of guns and missiles. So, be aware of that, and avoid repeating the same mistakes."

Tony replied firmly, "Don't worry. I will refuse any commercialization of the armor. Stark Industries will focus on other industries, and Iron Armor will remain a personal project."

"Remember what you've said."

Chapter Seventy-Two: Jane Foster

The debut of Iron Man marked a significant event, heralding a new era. From that moment on, people gradually became accustomed to the presence of superheroes.

In the years to come, Earth would face crises surpassing those of the past millennia, with many previously unknown superhumans rising to the challenge. This is why heroes emerge in troubled times.

However, Thor believed there were still not enough superheroes.

While only a few top heroes are qualified to confront Thanos in the future, Thanos' vast army will require many ordinary heroes to combat.

Otherwise, the overwhelming force of Thanos' army alone could easily overpower even the strongest individuals with sheer numbers.

So, the next step is...

New Mexico, Thor's Theme Park.

Once a wasteland, this area had become lively since a hammer fell from the sky ten years ago.

Tourists flock here hoping to lift the hammer, but few succeed. Even an old man named Stan Lee couldn't move it with a car.

Later, Stan Lee, who had the means, invested in creating a park that has since developed into a famous local attraction.

Today, the park had three special visitors.

A girl leading the way had dark hair and an attractive face. Her eyes sparkled with intelligence and a hint of mischievousness.

Although she could easily rely on her looks, she chose to work hard, discussing her research.

Behind her was a girl with slightly less striking features and an older man.

As they entered the park, Thor, sitting on a bench reading a newspaper, looked up.

He immediately recognized the girl, despite never having met or investigated her personally.

Jane Foster—once his girlfriend in another timeline and a female Thor in some parallel worlds!

"This park is so dull, Jane. You're crazy to come all this way!" Daisy complained behind Jane Foster.

"I didn't come here for fun. According to my research, this hammer could greatly benefit my studies..."

"Okay, okay, I get it. You have a soft spot for your ex-boyfriend's hammer!" Daisy teased.

Jane Foster's face flushed slightly before she quickly recovered. "Shut up! How many times do I have to say it? I don't have a boyfriend!"

"Right, your ex-boyfriend's name is Blake, isn't it? I saw you had a suit with his name on it! But it was confirmed some time ago that Blake is Thor." Daisy laughed, exposing her teasing.

Jane Foster looked exasperated. When she was younger, she followed her classmates in their star-chasing phase. But as a straightforward person, she knew little about celebrities beyond well-known figures like Captain America and Black Panther...

That suit was from back then, with the name "Donald Blake" on it, and she had kept it ever since. Daisy saw it during a room cleaning...

As a signature attraction of the park, lifting the hammer is a must for visitors, and Jane Foster and her companions were no exception.

At the park entrance, Thor did not rush in. He waited calmly, knowing that his prediction would soon come true.

Suddenly, a massive surge of energy spread out, a vortex appeared in the sky, and a tornado formed instantly with dazzling lightning.

The entire sky darkened, resembling a total solar eclipse. The park's electrical systems faltered, burning out instantly, causing widespread panic.

Only Thor wore a satisfied smile.

I've been waiting for you, She-Thor!

Chapter Seventy-Three: Godly Might Thor

"Oh, Jane, what did you do?" Daisy exclaimed.

"I... I don't know. I just lifted the hammer lightly!"

"You—put it down first..."

"Okay—" Jane Foster panicked, hastily trying to set the hammer down, but found that it was firmly attached to her hand and wouldn't let go.

"Don't worry, calm down. From now on, it belongs to you!"

The sudden voice startled everyone. Turning around, they saw a young man in black casual clothes, wearing sunglasses, and holding a bottle of water.

"You... you're Thor?" Jane asked uncertainly, still holding the hammer. She felt awkward, like she had stolen something and was now facing its rightful owner.

Thor didn't answer directly, instead speaking to himself: "Only those who are truly worthy can lift Mjölnir and wield the power of Thor. This hammer has been with me for thousands of years, but it has never been as pleased as it is today. Because you are its designed user!"

This was different from Natasha. When Natasha lifted the hammer, she was only recognized for her own qualities, granting her the ability to wield Mjölnir's power, similar to Captain America.

Now, Thor could clearly sense that the power of thunder was slowly transforming Jane Foster's body, making her the true Thor.

In fact, Jane Foster felt the difference in her body as well. The panic she had felt earlier had masked this sensation, but now, after calming down, she realized that the fatigue had vanished. She had never felt so invigorated before. The hammer seemed to have become an extension of her body.

Daisy was stunned and exclaimed, "Wow, he said he wasn't your boyfriend, but he gave you such a precious gift when you first met!"

A look of embarrassment appeared on Jane's face. She blushed and said, "Well, let me clarify—I won't be sleeping with you..."

Jane knew that many wealthy individuals are very generous with women, often to gain favor or other advantages. Thor's reputation in this regard was certainly better than Stark's...

Thor nearly choked, not expecting such a crude comment from someone so well-spoken.

Wasn't it better to be a quiet and refined person?

It was no wonder that despite being an outstanding astronomer, Jane was still so awkward. One would expect someone of his stature to have a sponsor, right?

It seemed likely that those willing to invest might be put off by Jane's comments. If they were decent and respectful, most sponsorships would be influenced by such remarks. After all, no one wants to be misunderstood as having ulterior motives...

While there are certainly those with hidden agendas, Jane was inadvertently causing Thor to be embarrassed!

Daisy and Dr. Erik were equally speechless...

Jane realized her mistake and quickly apologized, "Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that..."

Thor waved his hand with a smile: "It's fine, I don't mind. Besides, you were right. I do have that intention."

Jane was stunned, unable to respond...

Fortunately, she had a good impression of Thor; otherwise, she might have made a huge blunder...

She decided to change the subject abruptly: "So, Mr. Thor, why are you here? Were you waiting for me on purpose?"

Chapter Seventy-Four: The Madman

I must say, Jane Foster is quite perceptive. She quickly surmised that it couldn't be a mere coincidence that Thor appeared here; he might have followed her from early in the morning.

"Not at all. I just sensed Mjölnir's excitement at meeting its new wielder, so I came to see for myself."

Thor wouldn't admit it directly. He waved his hand, and a golden portal opened, showing a bustling New York City. "Look, I can travel between New York and New Mexico in the blink of an eye."

Jane didn't doubt him; her attention was already captured by another matter.

"Oh my God, this is space science! Space teleportation—it really exists! So, there is legendary magic after all!" Jane exclaimed excitedly.

Is it any wonder she's a top student? Her perspective is unique.

Since Thor was already putting on an impressive show, he didn't mind embellishing it further. It felt good to be admired by such a brilliant woman.

"Not only does space teleportation exist, but time travel is also possible.

I am the Donald Blake from back then, you know? Many believe I disappeared for half a century after World War II.

In reality, I didn't disappear.

In fact, it was me from the 21st century who traveled back in time."

Jane's eyes widened with excitement, as if she were staring at a perfect specimen.

"I know, I know!" Daisy shouted excitedly, "Jane admires Donald Blake the most. She even told me that he was her ex-boyfriend!"

Thor paused for a moment, processing this information.

In the movies, Jane Foster has a former boyfriend named Donald Blake, who is now actually Thor in disguise on Earth.

It was unexpected but amusing that, in this world, the story seemed to revolve around him.

"No, no, no! I didn't mean that! It wasn't me!" Jane immediately grew flustered, stumbling over her words...

Not only Daisy but even Thor noticed Jane's nervousness and denial, which seemed like a cover-up!

"Alright, I'll accept this new Thor role you've given me, but can I ask why? You know, I'm more interested in astronomy, and I'm just curious about magic, energy, and so on..." After calming down, Jane Foster asked Thor with genuine curiosity.

"Because this world needs you.

In recent years, the number of superpowered individuals has increased, and they have been born to address future crises.

Earth is not as ordinary as it appears on the surface.

In a sense, it is a crucial part of the universe.

It bears the brunt of cosmic crises.

As the new bearer of Thor's power, you have the choice to either accept or reject this responsibility. You can use this power to help others."

Though Earth is not yet widely known, even Midgard is relatively obscure in the universe, it is far from ordinary.

It has produced top-tier heroes like the Ancient One.

It was protected by the goddess Black Panther centuries ago.

Many of the greatest Avengers were born on Earth, including Thanos.

The path of his tyranny also ended on Earth.

"I understand," Jane said seriously, "With great power comes great responsibility. Am I right?"

"That's one way to put it," Thor replied. "This phrase serves as a self-restraint for the powerful rather than a moral imposition by the weak."

Thor placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and added, "In the future, many will attempt to impose moral judgments on us. Be prepared."

Jane Foster eventually followed Thor back to the manor, hammer in hand. Although she wielded the hammer, she was not yet skilled in combat techniques like Captain America or Natasha. She needed Thor's guidance to master this power.

"This is space teleportation? Wow, there's no discomfort at all. Normally, sudden spatial shifts should cause dizziness and nausea in mammals."

As soon as she stepped out of the portal, Jane marveled at the experience, quickly shifting into her enthusiastic mode...

Thor was left speechless. It's no wonder they broke up in the original story—a steel-hearted man and a steel-hearted woman, their separation and reunion were almost inevitable!

Chapter Seventy-Five: Loki's Life Experience

Jane Foster stayed at the manor. Maya Hansen and Betty Ross were slightly surprised by her arrival, but they said nothing.

During the day, Jane trained with Thor to learn how to control her new powers. At night, she read astronomy texts brought from Asgard, which broadened her understanding of the universe far beyond what Earth had to offer.

By the third day, Jane insisted on moving out. The constant noise during the night was unbearable, causing her to have dark circles under her eyes every morning.

Thor couldn't do much about it; the noise was simply part of the lively life young people in the manor.

In her spare time, Natasha Romanoff would come to practice combat skills with Thor. Thor would suppress his own strength and spar with her using only physical techniques.

Natasha, being the Black Widow, could almost defeat Thor with just a single move. On Earth, only Captain America, who had recently emerged and had not yet awakened, might be superior to her.

Thor had 1,500 years of combat experience, but if he had known earlier, he might have done bed battle stamina training.

Meanwhile, in Asgard, something significant was unfolding.

Ten years ago, an injury in Jotunheim had caused Loki to question his identity, but he had always avoided considering the most troubling possibilities.

When Jane Foster lifted Mjölnir recently, Odin's shock revealed that even in exile, Odin had been watching Thor. Loki seized the opportunity to investigate the Ice Gate in the treasure room. Using the power of the Ice Gate, he uncovered the truth about his origins.

"Why? Did you cause the destruction in Jotunheim and then bring me back?"

"Why!" Loki was more excited than ever before. Even though Thor had beaten him twice in three days, it hadn't caused this level of excitement.

Odin sighed deeply: "Because you are an innocent child..."

"No! There must be another reason for bringing me back. Tell me! Tell me!" Loki shouted, his voice rising in anger. He couldn't believe that Odin's reason was so simplistic. Perhaps there was a deeper reason, but Odin's claim that it was to spare him only meant he wasn't worthy of being brought back to Asgard as a prince.

Realizing he could no longer keep it a secret, Odin admitted: "I hoped that one day our two realms would unite to bring about lasting peace. Through you, a permanent alliance would be forged."

The truth often hurts more than lies, and Loki's face twisted with pain: "Then why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Odin, helpless, explained: "I concealed the truth to protect you..."

"Protect me? From what? Being a monster that runs around at night? I finally understand why you have always favored Thor. I have always been treated as a mere tool, and you would never allow a Frost Giant to sit on the throne!"

Loki had never lost his composure as he did that day. The ensuing conflict caused Odin to fall into a coma and enter Odin's Sleep prematurely.

Loki assumed control of Gungnir and temporarily governed the realm of Asgard. He resolved to take decisive action to truly prove himself to Odin.

"Stop fighting. Every time you lose, you come back to seek revenge. I've never seen someone so petty!"

Natasha Romanoff set Thor down and sat on a recliner, complaining.

Jane Foster, who was in the middle of contacting Thunder Control, froze and muttered under her breath: "Scumbag!"

"By the way, the director has sent me to Stark Industries, your nephew's place, to gather intelligence and evaluate his abilities and character. But I think it might be more useful to ask you directly," Natasha said suddenly.

Thor's eyes widened. Was this the beginning of the plot for Iron Man 2? Tony Stark should be suffering from palladium poisoning at this time, leading him to live a life of disillusionment as before.

The military was also interested in Tony's armor technology. After all, Thor's powers came from himself, and the technology of armor that could be worn seemed to be of more immediate practical use.

Chapter Seventy-Six: Loki Who Dies Again

"Currently, his strength should be slightly inferior to yours." Thanks to the magical bracelet I gave her initially, Natasha's strength is significantly higher than in the original timeline.

"However, Tony Stark's strength will improve gradually, and his armor will continue to evolve. He will become a central figure."

Thor spoke highly of Stark, which surprised Natasha.

"As for his character, you can trust him as much as you would trust Captain America in a just cause. Generally, aside from being a bit reckless and narcissistic, he's fine," Thor said, smirking.

Natasha noted down some key points. Then, she blinked and asked, "If possible, I'd like to assess you. Will you always stand by my side? What is your true strength?"

Thor hesitated for a moment before responding, "Are you asking for your own benefit, or is there another reason?"

"For myself," Natasha said with a smile, "You know me well. I can't know everything about you, right?"

Thor considered for a moment and then said, "To answer your first question: If it concerns you, then yes, I will always stand by your side. If it concerns S.H.I.E.L.D., then no.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has been corrupt for a long time, and you should be aware of that. I captured Zola myself, but then the government decided to integrate him into S.H.I.E.L.D.

That is a ticking time bomb that will eventually dismantle S.H.I.E.L.D. from within."

Natasha was about to respond, but Thor placed a finger over her lips: "Don't ask any further. It's useless to inquire now. Asking questions will only complicate things and alert potential threats."

"As for the second question regarding my strength: If I go all out, I can withstand every nuclear bomb on Earth and destroy any fleet within fifteen minutes."

Natasha's eyes widened in disbelief. Although the entire S.H.I.E.L.D. knew that Thor was powerful, they didn't realize he was this formidable. No wonder he disregards the politicians who attempt to oversee him. If this information were to leak, it could cause a significant stir in Washington.

As Natasha was contemplating this, a tremendous roar suddenly filled the air, and a beam of colorful light descended from the sky, almost connecting heaven and earth. The light lasted for several moments before vanishing.

Jane Foster hurried over with an instrument and exclaimed excitedly, "Hey, hey, there's something happening! I just detected violent spatial fluctuations in the suburbs. According to my analysis, it's very likely that the legendary Bifrost has opened!"

Recently, Jane had read numerous Asgardian tomes and absorbed a lot of new knowledge. Although she had decided to become a superhero, she had not abandoned her original scientific aspirations.

Soon, Natasha's communication device buzzed. After listening to the report, she looked up at Thor and said, "An agent reported that there are some oddly dressed individuals in the suburbs, resembling Wonder Woman, Cheng Long, and Robin Han... They must be looking for you, right?"

Upon seeing the Bifrost, Thor instantly guessed their identities and knew they had come to Earth for a specific reason.

He sighed quietly, "Loki, Loki, you're up to your tricks again!"

Chapter Seventy-Seven: The Destroyer Comes

A few of Loki's companions have arrived, and soon he will dispatch the Destroyer armor to hunt him down. Since his current power has not been sealed, Loki's main objective seems to be luring Thor to Earth to execute his plan.

Thor, who is familiar with the original timeline, knows that while Loki appears to betray Asgard and invite disaster, his true aim is not to kill Odin. Instead, Loki intends to use this scheme to eliminate Laufey and prove himself to Odin.

Laufey should have been dead a long time ago, and Thor has no intention of stopping him. He decides to let things play out.

S.H.I.E.L.D. acted swiftly and soon brought in several guests.

"Sif, Nebula, Minerva! It's great to see you all!" Thor exclaimed, hugging each of them warmly after a long absence.

"Oh, hell, let me tell you, Thor has changed. He's no longer the Thor who thought a real man should be a true warrior!" Fandral teased. "The most important thing to him used to be our brotherhood, always hugging us first!"

Thor laughed heartily and gave Fandral a friendly pat on the shoulder: "Who said the most important thing in the past was brotherhood? It was obviously the hammer!"

The three warriors glanced at Thor, who was currently empty-handed, then looked around until they spotted the hammer that Jane Foster was holding. Their eyes nearly popped out...

"Wow, you're willing to give such a precious hammer to a woman?" Fandral exclaimed, "You even dressed up as women for the hammer!"

The others burst into laughter, and Thor fumed: "Sif, take care of him!"

This is an embarrassing chapter from Thor's past, hard to explain in just a few words... better left unsaid!

Subsequently, some of Thor's companions updated him on Loki's scheme. Nebula and Minerva seemed determined to stay on Earth.

Their presence would inevitably be noticed by Loki, who would soon deploy the Destroyer armor.

Thor, not wanting the aftermath of the battle to damage the manor, decided to take Jane Foster with him to an open area in the suburbs where the Bifrost had appeared recently.

In the vast wilderness, a massive tornado storm formed within seconds, and a three-meter-high armor with a metallic sheen emerged slowly.

The Destroyer Armor!

In S.H.I.E.L.D.'s command headquarters and the military base, numerous screens displayed footage from drones.

The Destroyer raised its head and surveyed the area. Crimson light from the visor shot out in all directions like a volcanic eruption, accompanied by the sound of explosions.

The screen's image turned red momentarily, then shifted to a snowy white.

"Report! All drones near the target are destroyed!"

"Report! Satellite lost contact!"

"Dammit!!" Nick Fury slammed his hand on the table.

Thor was not surprised to see the Destroyer armor clear the area instantly. Loki's usual tactic is to sabotage monitoring efforts before committing a deed, and this is no exception.

Defeating the Destroyer is not difficult for him; Loki has not yet acquired full control, and its strength could be easily managed by Thor even in the original timeline, let alone now.

Sif, Nebula, and the three warriors readied their weapons. Natasha prepared her Widow's Bite, and Minerva drew a sniper rifle.

Thor turned to Jane Foster, whose eyes widened with surprise.

"You are the first assessment target. Cooperate with your teammates and destroy any part of its armor to pass the test."

After many days of training, Jane's strength has improved significantly, though she still lacks combat experience.

The Destroyer armor in front of her is a suitable challenge. With Thor observing from the sidelines and the support of Extremis, he is confident there will be no accidents.

"Me?" Jane asked, taken aback, but her expression soon hardened with determination.

"Yes!"

Chapter Seventy-Eight: Female Thor's First Battle

Without Thor's intervention, Jane Foster advanced with Mjölnir in hand.

Loki, however, would not be hindered by hesitation or lack of resolve. After a brief buildup of power, he unleashed a torrent of golden flames toward everyone.

"Watch out!" Natasha shouted as she quickly moved forward, crossing her arms to block the flames with her magical bracelets.

Sif called out, "Cover me!" Fandral and the others, used to seamless teamwork, sprang into action.

The Destroyer, with one swipe, sent Fandral flying, while Sif leapt onto its back and drove her sword into its neck. The flames engulfing the Destroyer were immediately extinguished, and its movements came to a halt.

Was it really that easy? Everyone was astonished.

Only Thor understood that the Destroyer was not a living being and lacked critical points. Sif's sword had no real impact on it.

Sure enough, the Destroyer armor began to rotate, causing Sif, who was clinging to its back, to face it directly.

Sif, shocked, was about to leap away when a steel hand grabbed her mid-air. If caught, this would severely damage their powerful combat force, second only to Thor.

Unable to dodge while airborne, Sif shut her eyes in resignation.

"Bang!" A gunshot rang out as Minerva fired, hitting the Destroyer Armor's hand. Though the shot didn't inflict damage, it veered off course and passed close to Sif.

Impressive! Thor thought, inwardly applauding. He had been prepared to act just then.

Sif, having narrowly escaped, fell to the ground, gasping for breath. Minerva, covered in sweat, was visibly stressed from the close call.

At that moment, a slender figure leaped from a rooftop, and the flashing hammer in her hand crashed down onto the Destroyer's head.

A loud noise erupted as the Destroyer staggered but quickly regained its footing, swatting the attacker away as if brushing off a mosquito.

Before Jane could react, she was struck hard and sent flying several hundred meters. If not for the physical enhancement granted by Mjölnir, this blow could have been fatal.

The Destroyer's empty eye sockets glowed again, and the fiery light began to charge for another blast.

Sif moved again, sliding towards the Destroyer's legs... deliberately avoiding vital areas, as she knew the Destroyer had none. She aimed for a leg, charging at high speed.

The clang of metal on metal rang out as her double-edged sword struck the Destroyer's leg, producing only sparks and no damage.

Although it didn't cause harm, it made the Destroyer lose its balance and topple sideways.

The destructive rays carved a trench several kilometers long into the ground and shot into the sky.

As it fell, everyone closed in, the sound of clashing weapons filling the air.

"What do we do? This thing won't break!" Fandral shouted, looking to Thor for guidance.

It's said that many bosses prefer not to engage directly, instead sending minions to provide experience and loot, only to be defeated in the end...

But this kind of mindless creature often turns out to be a mere experience pack. Since when did His Highness learn this tactic?

"Get out of the way!" A commanding voice startled everyone as the Destroyer, now rolling and tossing them aside, began to rise again.

Not far off, Jane Foster held Mjölnir aloft. Thunder rumbled across the sky, and dark clouds gathered, obscuring all light.

The ground trembled as a thunderbolt, several meters wide, struck from the heavens, dividing sky and earth. The lightning surged into Jane, merging with the raised hammer.

A silhouette of armor, reminiscent of Thor's, appeared from the void, enveloping her body. Though not a physical form, it imparted a sense of majesty to her previously slender frame.

Nearby, Thor held his breath, transfixed by the scene. This transformation, which he had initially planned to take at least six months, was happening now.

Chapter Seventy-Nine: Giants of Jotunheim Invade, Loki Betrayed?

Countless bolts of lightning illuminated the sky, which had been shrouded in dark clouds.

Jane Foster swung Mjölnir forcefully, and the massive lightning bolts struck the Destroyer armor with tremendous impact.

The metallic groans of the armor unable to withstand the intense pressure filled the air.

In Asgard, Loki's mouth twitched. He realized that Thor saw his pursuit as a mere exercise for his little girlfriend. Unwilling to admit defeat, Loki drove the Destroyer to launch even more devastating attacks. If I can't defeat Thor, then I'll defeat you!

Golden light flashed within the Destroyer's helmet, and terrifying energy began to accumulate.

Jane Foster charged forward suddenly, moving at a speed beyond human limits. She struck the Destroyer's visor with Mjölnir just as it was about to fire.

The divine power in the hammer not only shattered the visor but also blocked the golden rays emanating from the Destroyer's head.

With a muffled sound, the entire Destroyer convulsed violently.

Just as everyone thought they had won, the Destroyer's head exploded with a violent blast.

"Not good—" Jane, caught off guard, was blasted away.

Mjölnir flew out, the outline of the Destroyer's armor gradually fading and disappearing, and the surrounding thunder and lightning dissipated.

In mid-air, Jane, dazed, suddenly felt herself being caught. Opening her eyes, she saw Thor's approving gaze.

"You've done well. Leave the rest to me."

Jane responded with a faint "um," and exhaustion overwhelmed her, causing her to fall unconscious.

The headless Destroyer stood up again with its empty neck and began walking toward the crowd. Thor signaled the others to disperse and moved forward alone.

"My foolish little brother, why do you always forget to eat but never to fight? Isn't it better to be a happy little princess?"

"Damn it!" Loki, in Asgard, exploded with anger. The humiliating memories of being beaten twice in five years and three days seemed to resurface. Enraged, he drove the Destroyer and struck Thor.

The impact was immense, akin to an ordinary plane crashing. Thor caught the Destroyer's fist with both hands, twisting it with force. There was a sound of metal tearing as one of the Destroyer's arms cracked and shattered.

"Your Highness, he seems to be getting stronger and stronger!" the three warriors murmured.

Sif complained, feeling uneasy. She had originally chosen to become a warrior to impress Thor. After becoming the most powerful female warrior in Asgard, she was now even third strongest after Odin and Thor. Yet, she still saw herself as Thor's sidekick...

It had been tough for Thor to achieve enlightenment years ago, but Sif had not given up on narrowing the gap between them. Now, it seemed that the gap was only growing wider.

She glanced at the unconscious Jane, her resentment deepening. The armor she had just seen was just a couple of pretenders...

The scene of the Destroyer armor being torn apart was reminiscent of what had happened months ago.

The Destroyer Armor's resistance was futile.

Thor, without even using the power of thunder, defeated it solely with his physical strength.

In a short time, the once-majestic Destroyer was reduced to scrap metal.

Loki, terrified in Asgard, abandoned the Destroyer armor and rushed towards the Bifrost. While Thor was still preoccupied, Loki needed to hurry and execute his next plan.

Near Heimdallr, who had been frozen by Loki with the Ice Gate, several blue figures appeared. They looked at the resplendent world before them, feeling unprecedented excitement.

The centuries-old grudge would end today!

Loki greeted them with a smile, "Welcome to Asgard!"

Chapter Eighty: Striking Laufey Behind Closed Doors

"Nice to meet you again, Captain Blake. I'm Phil Coulson, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent! I'm your biggest fan..."

"Stop, stop!" Thor interrupted, "I recall that Steve is your idol, so how did you become a fan of mine? If you have something to say, just say it. I'm in a hurry."

Agent Phil Coulson's face showed a hint of embarrassment as he smiled and said, "Although this battle avoided residential areas, it still caused significant damage to the surrounding environment. The entire New York has witnessed the events here... S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to provide an explanation to the higher-ups, at least to convince Washington of the existence of aliens..."

Thor shook his head. "They'll believe it soon enough, and if they don't, it won't matter. It won't be long before the entire world knows about aliens."

After saying this, he ignored the confused Phil Coulson and turned his attention to Natasha and the others.

"Are you leaving?" Natasha asked, a touch of reluctance in her voice.

The main concern was that Thor often vanished for extended periods, sometimes for years.

Thor placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, his expression serious. "My brother is causing trouble again, and with Father asleep, it's up to me to handle things. I need to return to deal with him. Don't worry; I'll be back soon. It won't be for long this time."

Thor was heading back to address the chaos caused by Loki, leaving Nebula and Minerva on Earth while taking only the three warriors: Sif, Fandral, and Volstagg.

Let his women have some bonding time .

He shouted into the sky, "Heimdallr! Take us back!"

As the Guardian of the Bifrost and a formidable Asgardian, Heimdallr's strength was unquestionable. Responding to the call, he shattered the ice with ease, defeated the surrounding Jotunheim Giants with a few strikes, and activated the Bifrost.

The brilliance of the Bifrost enveloped them, and the group vanished in a burst of light.

In Asgard, within Odin's palace, Odin lay unconscious on his bed while Frigga waited anxiously by his side.

A commotion outside drew Frigga's attention. Instantly alert, she drew her sword and watched the frost-covered gate with caution. Despite being a powerful sorceress, she was also skilled in swordplay.

The palace gate burst open with a loud crash, revealing a tall, dark blue figure.

Giants of Jotunheim!

Frigga's eyes widened in shock. How could the Jotunheim race infiltrate here?

She bravely confronted the intruding Jotunheim Giants with her sword, only to be knocked aside by Laufey's powerful swipe, crashing to the ground.

As the queen of Asgard, she was not a true warrior and could not match the might of Laufey, the King of the Giants of Jotunheim.

Ignoring her, Laufey approached Odin's bed.

A malevolent smile spread across his hideous face. "Finally, the battle between Asgard and Jotunheim will end with the destruction of Asgard!"

"It is said that even in this state, you can still see and hear what's happening around you. I hope that's true."

"You will know that it was Laufey, King of the Giants of Jotunheim, who killed you!"

He raised the ice pick, ready to strike.

A flash of golden light pierced through him, causing him to collapse heavily to the ground. Startled, he looked at Loki, who held Gungnir in his hand.

Gungnir blazed with intense light once more, and as Laufey's body disintegrated, he heard Loki's final words.

"You will also know that it was Odin's son, Loki, who killed you!"
