catching with Arora and salva vs hulk?(chapter 96)

previously in chapter 95

Salva roared, his regenerative powers fighting off the disease. The battle was far from over, and now he faced the full might of the four horsemen, their combined strength bearing down on him with unrelenting fury. But he wasn't going to back down. Suddenly, lightning struck Famine, charring him as black smoke appeared on his body before he fell unconscious. Someone floated down from the sky as lightning crackled behind her. This person was, of course, Storm.

"Thank you, Famine. You showed me who you are, and you showed me what mercy you bring," she said as she landed.

"Ororo," Salva spoke, catching the goddess of the storm's attention. She responded, "I don't know why you decided to help us, Devourer, but thank you. I will not forget your kindness."

Chapter 96

Salva chuckled, "Favor, it's crazy how many favors involve me. Anyways, we need to talk," he said, getting serious. "But first, let's deal with them. I've had enough of death and destruction for the weak." They both prepared to fight the three remaining horsemen.

"No, no there will not be!" War yelled. "Who are you to challenge weather witches and abominations? We are the children of Arakko! We are the kings and queens of this world! We are the true Omegas!" She released a stream of fire towards Salva and Storm. Salva ignored the flames, while Storm used cold air to counter the fire.

"When the Annihilation Helm took Genesis, you did not side with your mother. You sided with the Helm, so I know your worth. The battle of Omegas has never been about power, but versatility," Storm declared. She snapped her fingers, causing War to be surrounded by a small but powerful tornado, which extinguished her flames.

Meanwhile, Death tried to turn Salva into dust, which he regenerated from before Pestilence shot another arrow. It hit Salva, but at this point, he didn't care. He charged as the disease ate him away, but he couldn't die, not even when he was forced to decay and plagued with the most powerful disease. He charged at Pestilence before he grabbed and hugged her. But he wasn't doing it out of love. No, his stomach shined, so did his scales, and soon his entire body was radiating heat as literal fire flowed between the cracks of his scales. He released a pulse of pure fire from his body. The pulse didn't reach far, but it did its job, which was to disintegrate Pestilence. After killing Pestilence, he turned his attention towards Death.

Only for him to be taken away by some roots, as well as Pestilence, War, and Famine. "Well, that was something," Salva thought as Ororo landed next to him. "I am surprised you speak," Ororo said. He turned towards her, then took his human form with scales covering his body, of course.

"Surprised once again," Ororo said. Salva approached her before saying something to her, which initially caused a shock on her face before she lunged at him. "You are back, Oliver, how?" she said as she hugged him, and he hugged her back.

"It's good to see you again," he said as they then separated. "How did you get back? From what Wanda told us, you were in a place beyond time, be-beyond existence," she asked curiously. Salva then said, "That is because I never left." This confused Ororo as she said, "What do you mean?" Salva then sighed as he explained to her.

-scene change-

After the destruction was somewhat contained, with the people moved to the shore of some place, Salva could be seen sitting on the shore along with Ororo, who sighed, "I see." She looked down for a second before sighing, "Nonetheless, thank you, Salva, for your help. You have helped reduce the casualties of our people." She got up, and so did Salva, as he said, "Thank you for explaining to me what happened to Oliver."

He thought that after he found out what happened to Oliver, he would be at peace, but no. After finding out his other half's situation, he now had the sudden urge to grow even faster to evolve further. He then looked at her and said, "Well, you've got your people to look after. I won't take up much of your time, Ororo. May you be victorious," he said as they hugged each other. The thing between them was weird—he was Oliver, but at the same time, he wasn't, not to them at least.

After saying goodbye to Ororo, he teleported away. This time, there was no playfulness on his face, no chuckle, nothing. After teleporting away, he found himself in the middle of the woods, in nowhere. "Hmm," he pondered as he then heard a large booming voice. He walked for a couple of seconds only to come face to face with someone he knew.

"The Hulk," he thought as the Hulk himself, the green giant, stood in the middle of a clearing, surrounded by the FBI. He thought, "This is something," as the Hulk yelled, "Leave me alone!" before backhanding a tree, which caused the tree to be uprooted and fly towards Salva, who shattered the tree into splinters.

Salva stood amidst the splinters of the shattered tree, his eyes locking onto the enraged Hulk. The tension in the air was palpable, each breath they took seemed to charge the atmosphere further. With a roar that echoed through the forest, the Hulk sprinted towards Salva, his massive fists clenched, ready to crush anything in his path.

Salva, who was frustrated after hearing olivers situations was equally furious, so he charged towards the Hulk. The ground beneath them trembled with each thunderous step, small animals scattering in fear as the two titans converged. When they collided, the impact was cataclysmic. Trees were uprooted, rocks were shattered, and a shockwave rippled outwards, flattening the vegetation around them.

The Hulk swung his fist in a wide arc, aiming for Salva's head. Salva ducked just in time, feeling the air rush past his head. He countered with a powerful uppercut, his fist connecting with the Hulk's jaw. The force sent the Hulk staggering back, but he quickly regained his footing, his eyes burning with fury.

Undeterred, the Hulk responded with a series of rapid punches, each one powerful enough to break bones and shatter steel. Salva deflected most of the blows with his forearms, his scales providing a near-impenetrable defense. However, the sheer power behind the Hulk's punches caused him to skid back, his feet leaving deep grooves in the earth.

Salva roared and retaliated with a kick to the Hulk's midsection, followed by a flaming punch aimed at his chest. The Hulk grunted in pain but remained standing, the flames dancing harmlessly off his tough skin. He grabbed Salva by the arm and hurled him into a nearby boulder, shattering it into countless fragments.

A/N: Well, another chapter is here. Who do you guys think would win? (It's a stupid question, but humor me). Setting aside Salva, I finally made the profile for my MCU fanfic. I'm currently on the Iron Man 3 movie, and if you've watched it, you know what's coming.

Anyways, the alchemist system isn't like traditional alchemy in cultivation world, with pills and such (although there will be pills, including those that lets you see heaven—the "zaza," as the kids say). It's more like the alchemy from D&D (gosh, I do love some D&D), so expect potions, pills, and weird artifacts, especially golems and homunculi. Expect some crazy stuff.

I'm trying to make this guy slightly evil (as he does things to homeless people and high school kids to test his products—just slightly evil), so don't expect him to save someone unless it benefits him, who knows, the love interest might just be someone who matches him.

PS: BEFORE YOU COMMENT, YES ITS COMING, SO BE PATIENT.
