Marvel's Mutant Gamer (Being rewritten)

(Being rewritten)Our lovely MC becomes The Gamer of Marvel. Nuff said. The timeline will be a mixture of the comics and the MCU. Be warned, it will be weird, and probably not accurate.

You've got to be kidding me. What the hell is this?

[Ogre Tigerskin Panties(Legendary): A special pair of panties crafted by an Ogre to be worn for his entire life. They are nearly indestructible but cannot be worn as anything other than underwear.]

That's it? Seriously?

This was so disappointing that I almost didn't want to continue grinding. Almost.

However, I'm the gamer for a reason, so I created another ID, this one with the golems.

[Steel Golem Lvl 75]

[Silver Golem Lvl. 72]

[Copper Golem Lvl. 74]

[Gold Golem Lvl. 71]

[Titanium Golem Lvl. 73]

Oh, wow! There were so many different types of them. All of them looked very similar, except for the different metal covering their bodies. They were about 15 feet tall(4.5m) with large and stocky bodies. They looked slow, but looks could be deceiving.

Their levels ranged from 70 to 75, so I'm guessing the Boss will be about 125 or more. That was a bit less than double my level, and I was no longer able to use the Arrow of Apollon, so I had no desire to test him out.

The mobs were a different story, however. I started shooting fire arrows at them while standing high on top of buildings. At this point, my fire produced by Pyrokinesis was a clear orange one. It was hot enough to melt and destroy most metals.

I wonder how hot my flames will be at the max level and whether I will be able to mimic the Human Torch by turning my whole body into fire. That was something I looked forward to.

The golems couldn't reach me on top of the buildings, but they were able to destroy the building's foundation and bring it down.

That wasn't an issue for me since I can fly or teleport. I just stayed up high in the air and continued shooting arrows.

[Acquired Steel Ingot]

[Acquired Titanium Ingot]

[Acquired Silver Ingot]

None of them dropped money, but this was incredible! I can use all those metals to create items! And I didn't even need a forge to do that. Instead, I can just use Pyrokinesis and Telekinesis.

With glee, I kept killing the golems and farming their metals until dawn. I even got two more levels out of it along the hundreds of ingots in my Inventory.

I returned to my house to prepare breakfast and enchant some bones for practice.

I wonder how I should use my stats points now. I have 88 of them, and soon enough, I will have over 100.

My physical stats were growing pretty well now that I had weighted clothes that more than tripled my weight. I can even make weights of the metals I obtained to put on as well, which will increase my physical growth even more.

Before I got my ability, I was 155lb(70kg), now I was about 180lb(82kg) of pure muscle. All of that gained in just a couple weeks. I also think I grew an inch as well, but I'm not sure about that since I haven't checked my height.

After we had breakfast and left for school, I asked Kurt, "So, have you thought of what weapon you might want to use?"

He looked a bit down, but I figured promising to make him something good might make him a bit better.

"Huh? Vell, I don't know. A sword sounds nice, maybe two of them since I'm as good with my left hand as I am with my right," Kurt said.

"Hmm, what about your tail?" I asked, holding a weapon with it didn't seem out of the question.

"I... haven't used it much, but it's pretty easy to move it around," Kurt said after a moment.

"Then I can make something smaller like a dagger for your tail, or maybe even a small hammer, so you can have some blunt damage as well," I said.

"A hammer?" Kurt questioned.

"Yeah, I can even enchant it to weigh less if it's too heavy for you, but I'd prefer to use the enchantment slots for something better," I informed him, and Kurt nodded, he looked a bit happier knowing that he will be getting good stuff in the future.

"On a side note, I grinded during the night and got a Legendary drop," I said with a bit of an annoyance.

"Really? Vat is it, can I have it?" Kurt asked, and I had to stifle my laughter. Oh, he can have alright, I ain't putting on those panties no matter what.

"Ogre Tigerskins Panties. They are nearly indestructible," I said while chuckling, I'm disappointed by the drop, but it was still funny.

"You're joking?" Kurt said.

"I wish I was, but that's what I got from the Ogre Boss," I said, and he started laughing at me.

When we reached school, I activated Telepathy and contacted with Jean. During our first class, the skill leveled up, and it came with a benefit. I was able to transmit only the thoughts I wanted to Jean. No longer will she hear my more embarrassing thoughts if I didn't want her to.

During the breaks, the members of the Brotherhood kept watching us from a distance. I really don't want to deal with them, but I'm almost sure they will attempt to do something.

Scott was also keeping an eye on us, and I was certain he will attempt something. It was just a matter of time.

I wasn't too worried about myself, but I was afraid they might try to do something to my grandma. That was something I wouldn't allow to happen. Thankfully, I was already preparing for that.

The books the clones have been reading have all been about Warding. It's a type of Magic that siphons Universal or Dimensional energy to create protective barriers around specific locations. All of the Sanctums and Kamar-Taj have such wards around them.

I could possibly try to connect with the Phoenix and use her energy to place a ward, but even though I have the title Champion of the Phonix, I'm a bit scared of her. If there is any being that could overpower my Gamer Mind and take over my body, then the Phonix is a prime candidate for that.

I will probably end using my own Mana, which was incredibly high at this point, almost 14 000. I'm guessing it will work like the Mana Clone and take a permanent amount of my MP as long as the ward was active, but as long as it wasn't something like 50%, I would fine with that.

When school finished, Jean was excited about her date. She'd never been on one and wasn't sure what to expect, but she was looking forward to it.

In the morning, Jean had woken up at 5 AM, trying to figure out what to even put on. In the end, she put on a simple pair of jeans that stuck to her legs and a pink blouse. She knew that Will didn't care that much about how she dressed, he would appreciate her either way.

Jean was aware that she might've jumped the gun with Will since she was very emotional after almost turning into the Dark Phoenix, and needing Agna to help her unseal her emotions. She was still overly emotional at times, but she was getting better.

However, Jean didn't regret getting into a relationship with Will. At first, she was suspicious of him since she couldn't hear his thoughts or feel his emotions. They then became friends that even went out to the arcade together. Will wasn't the most sociable person, but she wasn't as well, yet they got along in their own way.

Not hearing his thoughts was something that had greatly interested her, making her want to know him better. Will was goofy, and in a way, optimistic, he was an idiot at times, but she liked that about him.

Being able to talk with him mentally was a big plus as well. Their conversations happened a lot faster and were a lot more genuine. The few hours they spend at Kamar-Taj just snuggling and talking amounted to a whole day of just talking.

Jean felt like she knew him well enough now that she didn't mind being in a relationship with him. She liked him and was happy with her choice.

As soon as school finished, the two of them bid Kurt goodbye before leaving. Jean wrapped her arms around Will's arm as they walked away. She liked was holding him like this. His muscles were nice to touch, and she felt safer in a way.

The two walked around, happily chatting to each other mentally. They reached a mall and looked around the various shops. Will bought a pair of clothes for himself, saying he needed a few more since he had ended up enchanting some to be heavier. He also purchased a black blouse that caught Jean's attention, and she couldn't stop herself from giving him a kiss.

Will later brought her to the cinema, and Jean was ecstatic since they were going to watch Madagascar 2, which got released about a week ago. She absolutely loved the first one and was very excited about the second one.

They bought popcorn and made their way to their auditorium. There were about 10 more minutes before the movie started, and Jean made sure to show Will how happy she was by smothering him with kisses.

Jean wasn't the best kisser, considering how she had no experience, but Will was learning fast, and so was she along the way. She also liked how he held her gently, even though his hands did slip below her waist a time or two. Jean didn't mind it since he did deserve it after taking her to see a movie she really wanted to watch.

---

The movie wasn't bad, but I could've gone for another one. However, Jean was very happy about it, so that was okay with me.

I also got my reward, and I really couldn't stop thinking about it. I was still replicating that moment in my mind, and I was glad Jean couldn't hear my thoughts because I couldn't stop thinking about her butt.

I was escorting her back to the Sanctum, and we were walking down a quiet road when my Sense Danger flared.

[Sense Danger increased to 10.]

Without hesitation, I grabbed Jean while activating Mana Strengthening and bolted out of the way. At the same time, I left an illusion of ourselves there while layering another one over us.

With my current Dexterity and boosts to movement speed, I was able to move so fast I was nothing but a blur. I think I was still slower than Pietro, but I was on my way to reaching his speed.

A moment after I jumped away from our previous location with Jean, a large steel pillar dropped on top of my illusion.

'What is going on?' Jean asked in my mind.

'We are being attacked,' I said while looking at our attackers.

[<Perfect Clone of Riptide> Janos Quested Lvl. 78]

{A perfect clone of Janos Quested created by Nathaniel Essex. He was sent to capture Jean Grey and kill her current boyfriend.}

[Mutant Powers: Bodily Rotation; Calcium Projectile Generation]

[<Perfect Clone of Blockbuster> Michael Baer Lvl. 89]

[Mutant Powers: Immense Physical Strenght(Augmented)]

[<Perfect Clone of Scrambler> Kim Il Sung Lvl. 70]

[Mutant Powers: Paranormal Power Disruption; Power Negation]

'Who are they? And why can't I sense their minds?' Jean asked.

'Clones created by Nathaniel Essex. Sent to capture you and kill me,' I said.

'Essex? The one you said has been manipulating Scott to be obsessed with me? What does he want from me?' Jean asked, but I didn't know what to say.

The obvious conclusion was that he wanted those two together, but I couldn't understand why.

"What the hell is going on?" Blockbuster walked over to the where steel pillar had fallen and looked around.

"Was that some kind of projection or something?" Scrambler followed him and asked.

"Sure looks like it, Jean might already be good enough to create mental illusions," Riptide said.

"But we have the devices that protect our minds! That shouldn't be possible!" Scrambler stated.

Well, that explains why Jean wasn't able to sense them.

'I say we take them out,' I said to Jean.

'What? You mean, kill them?' Jean asked, horrified at that thought.

'They are clones, not real humans, and they are sent to kill me and capture you. I can't risk them going after my home and my grandma,' I said, and she reluctantly accepted.

Quickly, while hidden under an illusion, I got near them and transferred them all to the Mirror Dimension.

"What the fuck is going on?" All of them asked out loud.

I didn't waste any time talking. My bow was already in my hands with a fire arrow charged and aimed at Scrambler. He was the main target I wanted to take down first due to his powers. I wasn't sure if they will affect me or not, but I didn't want to take any chances.

The arrow pierced Scrambler in the chest, burning his insides, and I quickly fired five more, leaving him nothing but a charred corpse, which shortly disintegrated, turning into XP and loot.

Riptide's lower body started spinning, making him look as if he had a cyclone instead of legs. He flew towards me at with quick speed, but Jean took ahold of him with her Telekinesis and stopped him midair.

Meanwhile, I created chains and ropes with Eldritch Magic that circled around Blockbuster. They held him down, but he was struggling hard and almost managed to break free.

Unfortunately for him, I shot a dozen fire arrows in his face, killing him as I did with Scrambler.

Riptide was the only one that was left alive as Jean didn't have the guts to kill him. I didn't blame her since he was a perfect clone that looked exactly like a human.

"Release me!" Riptide screamed.

"Why were you sent to capture Jean?" I asked while taking a look at the loot.

[Mind Protecting Chip (Epic): A chip that protects the wearer's mind from all kinds of mental attacks. It has to be surgically placed in the brain for it to have an effect. If the chip gets removed, the wearer will be instantly killed. Created by the brilliant mind of Nathaniel Essex.]

"Fuck you!" Riptide yelled.

Removing the chip from Riptide will kill him, so we wouldn't be able to use our Telepathy to check his memories. Giving the chip to Peter or Kurt was also out of the question since I didn't want them to have something so dangerous in their heads.

Since Riptide was useless to us, I shot him down with fire arrows. Turning him into XP and loot like the other two.

[You have leveled up to 72.]

Jean was horrified, and I felt her distress through our mental connection. Quickly, I went to her and brought her in for a hug.

'It's okay. All of them were clones. They weren't real humans. Don't worry about it,' I said, trying to comfort her while also giving her a massage.

'Think of them as androids that were sent to kill me and capture you. If we left them alone, they would've gone against our close ones. We didn't do anything wrong.'

Jean somewhat calmed down, but she was obviously distressed about the whole situation. I made a portal to the Sanctum and stayed with her there, trying to comfort her.

At the same time, I sent a message to Kurt. [Are you are home?]

[Kurt Wagner: Yeah, I'm playing a game. Vhy?]

[Please, stay on the lookout for anyone that might attempt to enter the house. If you see someone, grab grandma and teleport her to the Sanctum.]

[Kurt Wagner: Vhat? Who would do that?]

[Three men, well, clones of men, were sent to kill me, and capture Jean.]

[Kurt Wagner: Are you serious? Are you two okay?]

[We are fine, but Jean is distressed since we had to kill them. I don't blame her since they looked exactly like humans. Just be on the lookout, and I will come back when she is better.]

[Kurt Wagner: Okay, I got it, you can count on me!]

With that handled, I continued comforting Jean by hugging her tight and using my Massage on her.
