Time to hunt - Black Crobal. Part 1

First, who had stood up, disappeared from where he was and appeared in front of Nolamine. He was alert and was on guard and he was not afraid of him, but was wary of the giant who only talked when he had something to say.

Unfortunately for him, even with his guard up, he was struck by the same punch with the same amount of power as before. Nolamine could not even see it coming even though he was expecting it.

It struck his stomach and what happened next amazed even him. He did not fly away like last time, only the force and power behind the punch pushed him, making him slide while still standing as his body absorbed the punch.

It was painful, but not as painful as before. Langa nodded his head next to him, as he started stretching like he was raring to finally spar with him.

"It took you only three months to get your body in such shape that it could take a blow that could kill a lion."

'Hehehehehe....'

Nolamine was feeling good about himself and was having one of his evil laughs in his head. That was until he looked at First who was not impressed at all. He just had his usual serious face on.

"We too train by turning curses into strength and power."

He said as he looked at Langa, who was happily stretching.

"But we turn them into strength, not devour them to create strength and power."

Nolamine was intrigued.

"I have been studying your body. It seems like whatever you do, it all depends on the power of your eyes on how strong you become as I do not think what's been happening in your body is an innate ability your body possesses."

Nolamine wanted a pen and paper to note this man's wisdom down. His voice made everything he said sound like a parting gift from a Wisdom Tree.

"From now on, it would be foolish of you to depend on your body to try and attain any form of power, as any power you will ever possess will come from the power of your eyes."

He said as he looked at the young girls that would pass by where they were training just to see Langa training every day.

"But, even if you can be as fat as an elephant, and still possess power equal to a demon, it would be good for you to keep in shape in the long run."

He said, looking at Nolamine's now chiseled body. His chest was now pronounced and his arms and muscles were lean and sculpted, not to mention the six-pack that had started to take shape.

"Uuuuu..."

One girl said teasingly as she passed by, making First turn and look at her.

"Mama!"

She yelled as she ran for dear life, like she had just seen a wolf. Nolamine and Langa just laughed inwardly.

"It is a pity that we do not have more time as there is so much more for you to learn. All you know what to do right now is just how to hold a sword and swing it, but even that is good enough to get you by."

He said as he looked at Langa who had finished his stretches.

"Fourth will tell you what you need to do next as our training is done. I have gained much insight into my own techniques by just observing your body. For that, I thank you."

"Nolamine bowed his head slightly."

"You are still not ready to spar with my disciple. He still does not know how to control his power yet. If you did, he would definitely kill you."

He said as he left, leaving Nolamine flabbergasted. Langa's face was one of horror.

'Am I still that weak?'

He asked himself.

"Damn it!"

Langa yelled out loud as he kicked the ground. He had a bet with King to see if he would survive a spar with him. 'Surviving' meaning not dying and the winner being the only one to ask Analka out on a dance in the upcoming celebrations.

Nolamine had never seen him sparring with anyone and he had been wondering why.

He left him still miserable and went to rest so as to prepare for Fourth's training.

"Today you shall rest."

She said after meeting up with him.

"Your movements have improved over the months, but that was not even the beginning of my techniques. The moves were just meant to polish your posture, movement, and strikes. With the power from First's training and the absorption of the curses that were in your body, together with what I have taught you so far, I can say that you are now stronger than when you were a small child."

Nolamine still did not know how that could be.

"Tomorrow you shall be going with Langa and Analka to the Dark forest. You need to get some materials Stunga needs. You shall get to see how much you have improved even though it was only about three months of training. "

Stunga was the Master Armorer of the village. His disciple was named Mela and would follow his master everywhere. He was the one who turned the materials they would harvest from the beasts they killed into weapons and armor, Mela being the one who made Nala's twin blades.

Nolamine liked Mela, but did not get to know him properly. He was always tired and never got to know many of the villagers. Not to mention Mela was a shy boy.

"So, you are telling me that you are some kind of royalty?"

Son-join asked over the phone. It was night time and they had not talked for some time.

"Yeah."

"Man, I spit on the dead heads of all kings. For you to be a part of royalty is an insult to the gods, for I have come to the realization that I am above them in any way, shape, or form."

"You imbecile!"

He yelled as he heard him spit over the phone.

"Anyways, you said that you are going to have some kind of Impenetrable Mirror and Devourer abilities?"

"Yes, after I get my wand."

"Damn, I still think that my ability seems cooler though. Just listen to the name... Curse Weaving. Just think what I might be able to do..... Hello? Hello?... is anyone there?"

Nolamine had put the phone over by his side. He did not know what to do with his one and only friend. He sighed and put the phone over his ear again.

"Yeah, I'm here."

"You know, I think you should change the name of the first one though."

"Huh? Impenetrable Mirror? Why?"

"I mean..... Your father did penetrate...."

He could not finish his sentence.

"You bastard, I shall run over the ocean and come over there and stab you up your ass with my mother's dagger...."

"So, you mean you want to penetrate...."

Nolamine cut the call even before he could finish his sentence. He sighed and went to sleep after vowing revenge.

Son-join, on the other hand, went out of his bedroom and went to check if the windows and doors were closed and locked. He then asked his mother to wake him up if Nolamine ever showed up and not to let him in before she did. His mother just shook her head, thinking he just missed him.

"I do not trust that freaking alien. What if he can run on water now?"

He said as he left his lights on, afraid to sleep in the dark.
