[Dead Shine] And [Dark Frost]

"Why did that man come here and how was I able to detect his presence? Shouldn't he be at Bronze rank High Martial realm!?"

"...", without saying or thinking anymore he just returned back to his house.

"Mother, I'm back.", he said happily only to find his mother smiling back at him.

But he didn't feel any happiness when he saw his mother smile right now. Instead he felt immense pain.

He clearly knew that she was faking smile and had just now coughed blood because the blood marks were clearly seen on her lips.

He couldn't bear to see that so he said, "Mother, just a second. I think a customer has come."

Saying this he ran outside to the shop which was joined with his house.

No one had come in reality and it was only him alone standing there.

His hands were trembling for some reason and he couldn't think straight at all.

"I didn't know that she had started coughing blood so early?", was what he was thinking in his mind.

In his previous life all he remembered was that his mother started coughing blood and fell seriously ill when he was 18 years old.

Little did he know that the symptoms had started to appear when he was just 11.

"It's good that I noticed it right now, in the early stages the chances of curing the disease is quite high...", he was a bit happy because there was a good news hidden within the sad face and coughing of blood that he saw right now.

When he was 18, the disease had reached to such a limit that no pills worked which slowly lead to her death.

He couldn't save her no matter how much pills and herbs he provided because it was a deadly disease after all.

The disease was called as [Dead Shine]. It was indeed an unique name.

It was a rare disease too which was usually hereditary at least that's what everyone had thought but later it was known to all that this could be caused by other means too.

One of the prime example was, bathing in the water used by nobles.

The nobles who were sometime infected with this disease treat it immediately because it would start as another tyoe fo disease.

The waste water would then be realeased which would contain the causative things for that disease and when someone with weak immunity comes in contact with that water, he or she would get infected by it.

"Tsk, I won't forgive those bastards...", Ryuu already held a huge grudge against the nobles and the rich people so it wasn't weird for him to think about taking revenge on them.

"Right now my main priority should be healing Mother....", he has the knowledge of the last life where the medication for the cure during its early stages were known.

He could make a medicine which would complete cure her within seven days but the only problem was that finding thebherbs was rather difficult.

He didn't even had enough money to auction such herbs or order them from some other places.

"Sigh.... what do I do?", he was somewhat lucky because he had 3 of the 10 required herbs with him but those herbs had no function on their own.

"I have to visit the depths of the forest again.", there were even many more types of herbs that grew within the forest which he has just visited a few minutes ago.

He was ready to go out anytime but he was worried about his mother at the same time since there was no one to look after her until he hadn't returned.

Also, he couldn't guarantee how long it would take for him to return from the forest because it might even take an entire week to just search a single herb.

"What do I do? Whom do I ask...?", just when he had thought about leaving his mother alone for a while, he remembered one of his father's friend who could be trusted.

"Uncle Zi might be able to help.", immeditely after saying this he dashed towards a house which was a bit ahead from his own.

He could see a middle aged man tailoring some clothes ahead.

He shouted while waving his hand, "Uncle Zi!!! Uncle Zi here!!!"

He somehow caught his attention. He immediately cane towards Ryuu and asked, "What happened Ryuu? Is something wrong?"

Ryuu explained about what had happened to his mother and how she ended up coughing blood.

Zi was completely shocked when he heard that but then Ryuu immediately told that he had to keep this as a secret.

Zi nodded his head but he too was worried because he didn't want to catch that disease.

Regardless of that, he still agreed to watch over her for a span of one week until Ryuu returned.

After saying this Ryuu dashed towards the forest.

"Huh? Why is he going that way? Didn't he say that he was going to fetch the doctor?"

Ryuu didn't reveal the fact that he was going to find the herbs. Instead, he just lied because he thought that it would be better to tell him about the doctor rather than telling that he would be entering the forest.

"Huff huff...", Ryuu soon entered the forest and started walking towards the deeper parts.

He reached the same area where he had been earlier where he had hunter the Yellow Horned bull. He collected one or two herbs from there and resumed his March and dashed even further.

"Not again, even after becoming as strong as Bronze rank Lower Martial realm, my endurance and stamina is still weak.", it was indeed true since he has to actually increase the strength of his physical body too and not onlhbyhe power of his soul.

"Huff huff...", he was panting heavily due to the excess amount of distance that he had covered despite being completely tired.

"I knew it... those herbs would definitely be here.", there was a huge stone which was basically like a boulder.

It was actually having many herbs growing on it due to reason unknown. It seemed as if Ryuu knew about this place from his past life and that was why he rushed to this exact place.

"Yes! This... and this too!!", he picked up the herbs and finally had 9 herbs out of a total of 10.

"Just one more herb. If I'm not wrong, that herb must be around that cave...", the last herb which he was mentioning had a different glow from the usual.

It was called [Dark Frost] because if it's unique attributes. It usually grew around cool and dark places so a cave would be an ideal place for it to be found and there were only 3 caves in this entire forest.

And out of the 3, one was very close to Ryuu, knowing which he ran towards it.

"Dark-Frost... Wait for me, I'm on my way!"
