A dark sky hovers above the world. Black Clouds charged with Purplish Lightning occasionally blast downwards leaving Craters of various sizes in a forest with trees larger than towers and beasts larger than them.
"Remnants of the Ancient Wilds" An Old man sitting on a white cloud with 7 children with him miles away from the forest says.
"Wow Really" a young girl says.
"So what! It doesn't compare to the special lands we have in the Upper world" a young boy retorts.
"Hohoho well that's where you are wrong young master Tian" the old man laughs and says.
"What!" The boy responds in a shocked voice.
"These lands are so dangerous even Immortals tread with caution" says the old man as the cloud Starts flying away.
In the meanwhile in a cave within the Remnants of the Ancient Wilds a young man could be heard muttering "this is unbelievable" he throws a few punches and kicks then jumps up and down going about 6ft up in the air before he lands.
"Hahaha is this really my body?" Yin Feng was always a sickly kid but having been born into a Martial Art Family, he still tried his best to be athletic. But his body's response to exercise was only breaking down further without ever getting stronger. This naturaly made the feeling of strength a shocking experience, even tho he is in the body of a nine year old.
"So this is the power of the Body Training Stage huh?"Yin Feng says to himself.
In this world cultivation was what determined your value if you are someone with a profound cultivation then your value was naturally very high.

But where he was right now a small Spiritual Transformation Realm Individual would be considered one of the best since the Remnants of The Ancient Wilds is located in the Lower Tian Lin Continent. one of the Lower realms.
This naturally meant that with his potential. Dominating this Continent was easy as long as he doesn't create trouble and cuts some corners.
But Yin Feng's mind had other plans. Having always led a cowardly life he always blamed it on his condition, saying it was helpless and his only way to live.
This to him was not only a chance at a new life but one where he has the chance to prove to himself that courage exists within his heart and that he can be more dangerous than any.
"I YIN FENG VOW!, THAT I WILL BE UNYIELDING AND TACTFUL, COURAGEOUS AND FREE, and to those i deem deserving RUTHLESS AND UNREASONABLE!!!" Yin Feng shouts as tears of happiness stream down his face.
He wipes them off and says "now now what do we have here" turning to his character status window.

The Spirit of Vengeance Background is the hardest start in the game since it involves Forces in the upper world chasing you after your ascension. But it does not come without reward since you gain 2× Immortal Grade Gifts from the get go.
Yin Feng feels another headache similar to when his memories of this world merged and he suddenly begins digesting the memories.
"So if i am the illegitimate 2nd son of the clan patriarch huh" Yin Feng mutters.
The Immortal Yin Clan is a clan that has only one heir every generation. This means that Yin Feng's existence in itself is humiliating to the clan.
"It seems someone couldn't Restrain his Dragon. Regardless at least thats a problem for later what i need to concern myself with now is this promise" Yin Feng says.
When Yin Feng was exiled to the lower world the clan seemingly tried to have him meet his end quickly by having him land in the most dangerous and mysterious area of this Lower world. But fate had other plans since he was rescued by Hong Lu -The White Phantom King- of the Northern Region and was bestowed his martial arts. But not for free as he made him promise to kill the three traitors that caused his downfall for him.
The three were
Qing Lao -The Black Wind Spiritualist- Elder of the Northern Region's Mysterious Wind Palace.
Dao Tong -The Heartless Serpent Demon-member of the Eastern Region's Six Demons.
Hong Lie -The Black Phantom Queen- Leader of the Northern Region's Mysterious Wind Palace.
"Fuck! three Spiritual Realm cultivators" Yin Feng curses as he starts thinking.
These 3 are considered strong cultivators in this lower world and Yin Feng has no true obligation to go through with this mission causinghim to hesitate.
But after a while of thinking he says "Alright! I'll do it!" as he stares at the dead body of Hong Lu.
His reasoning is simple. the quest has rewards, this person saved his life without forcibly placing a Death Contract on him and most importantly It sounds like a fun Challenge and goal to work towards since with his overall potential these individuals shouldn't pose too much of a threat assuming he finishes his preparations.
"But that will have to wait because now is the time to lay the most stable Foundation possible!" Yin Feng says in an excited tone.
He checks his status once more.
"It seems i must awaken my root. I think i should get a Heavens root easily or maybe even a Divine Root if i have any luck at all" says Yin Feng to himself
"Alright! Before all of that lets see if my luck is maxed too" and he openes one of the Mystery chests.
Inside seems to be a black ring with a very ordinary appearance a pack of Talismans and 2 bottles of pills.
Usually these items are of such high rank that a beginner would need to either get them appraised or breakthrough to the Spiritual realm to find out their nature with Spiritual Sense. assuming he doesn't want to risk misusing them that is.
Yin Feng Smirks and activates his All-Seeing Eye of Mystery turning his eye into a mix of black, purple and countless white dots that resemble stars in a vast cosmos immediately figuring out the nature of the items.
