"Your Highness, I heard that you assigned Elycia to help in looking after the royal library starting tomorrow," Rigor said to Crown Prince Alerone who was sitting on the chair. "May I ask if this is true?"
Crown Prince Alerone was reading some reports through the scrolls on his table. He didn't even take his gaze off the scroll he was reading when he replied, "That's right."
Confusion was written all over Rigor's face when he heard the response. He indeed knew that the Crown Prince was acting strange these days but still, this was not like him at all. "Your Highness -"
"From now on..." Alerone spoke, interrupting his right-hand man. "You can stop reporting matters that concern her. I don't have to hear them anymore."
Was that the Crown Prince's way of saying he had given up on Elycia? Why so sudden?!
