Chapter Nine

I think I had a nightmare but I am Okay now, I whispered to him still recovering from the shock and fear of the dream.

Leon came closer to me and stroked my hair then he patted me gently, "My Queen you are safe once you are with me and trust me no nightmare can take you away from me, he whispered. I think you should drink some water.

The maids came closer on the order of Leon and gave me a glass of water after sometime I felt somehow relieved and better.

I think you should get ready it's almost time for breakfast, Leon said to me softly still stroking my soft hair. I guess he loved my hair texture a lot.

Since you love Lali then she would be in charge of your dressing and makeup, so get ready. Anyways you look so cute without make-up, I have to visit some of my concubines see you later.

After he said that,he stood up, wore his shirt and went out.

He was so annoying, I couldn't believe he had concubines who satisfied him, no wonder he didn't touch me otherwise I would have been defiled but I liked it a bit. I had a lot of freedom from sexual rights since he had concubines but I hated sharing my husband, that feeling disgusted me.

Few minutes later, I got dressed into a sky blue silk gown which was adorned with lots of diamonds and fragrance which was made from the rarest flowers that sprouted once in a year.

I loved the way all my dresses were made from smooth silk because it soothed my skin and makes me feel relaxed.

"My Lady please you have to choose the jewelries you are putting on today", His Highness has specially sent it for you.

I got mesmerized because he told me he wanted to visit his so called concubines but all of a sudden he is sending turns of jewelries, so confusing.

I opened the necklaces one by one and to my surprise when I tried them on, they all fitted me and were so light in weight even though they looked heavy.

I picked the least adorned one and with the help of Lali, I wore the necklace and earrings and soon I was well adorned with jewelries, makeup and all other adornments.

" My Lady to be sincere, Sir Leon has taste for good things, the jewelries fits you a lot mist especially your wedding ring, Jana complemented.

My face flashed to my beautiful wedding ring which had a large diamond at the top and was made from a platter of gold.

"Thanks Jana", I am so sure you will get more than this on your wedding.

Ohh My Lady you can't compare my status with yours. The ring on your finger can fend my whole family very well for three years, Jana replied.

I smiled at her words and soon I was led to the dining room which wasn't far because we weren't in our palace.

The Royal's were having their dinner in the garden which was over adorned with flowers. I bowed to greet the King and Queen and with the help of Leon I sat gently beside him.

" Wow Leon your wife is well cultured", a young man who I guessed was Leon's brother said as I sat.

Thanks, I replied him when I noticed Leon wasn't interested in anything he said.

"Our brother really has his eyes on good things", he married a very beautiful Lady as a wife, another man said sarcastically.

" I guess we all came here to eat so let's mind our businesses ", Leon said coldly.
