She Doesn't Belong Here

" My company ? " Elena asked.

" Yes dearest, your company " madam Rose replied swiftly.

" It's going well ma, expect for a few challenges and obstacles, everything has been progressing as expected.  " Elena managed to reply. She couldn't tell what it was but whatever it was didn't feel right to her.

" Well that's great to hear from you my dear. Despite the internal crisis of some group of persons wanting to take over from you, you still look calm and collected. It takes only a bold and tough heart to stand tall during crisis as this , you know ? " Madam Rose explained well chewing slowly.

" Pardon me mother in-law, but what Crisis are you talking about and who's planning to overthrow me ? " Elena asked in shock as she stared at Edward with a questioning look.

* Clears his throat *

" It's nothing wife , you shouldn't bother about that okay. I will just handle it " Edward quickly replied.

* Stares with open eyes *

" Is something really going on within my company that I know nothing of ? I mean apart from grandpa Shawn's movement, has there been another issues ? " She asked in a whisper.

" Like I said wife, it's nothing " Edward replied looking directly at his mother.

" What ? " She asked in audibly.

" Don't pull any stunts mother " Edward murmured for only her hearing.

" Any way darling Elena, when do you both plan on giving me a grandchild " she asked like a concerned mother.

* Chocks *

Gra..... Grand... grandchild ? " Elena asked in shock. This was beyond her imagination, when she agreed to sign those silly documents Edward sent to her. She never thought of giving him a child but here , his mother was requesting for a grandchild.

" Err.... Uhm.. mother, isn't it a bit to early to trouble my wife with questions such as this " Edward quickly replied seeing the shocked look on Elena's face.

" Early ? " She asked staring deeply into Elena's eye's invoking in her a new found fear. Something deeper than the fear of dying.

* Coughs furiously *.

" Wife .... " Edward called as he quickly got to her side.

" That's was unexpected " Madam Rose said.

" Are you alright love ? " Edward asked as he blocked his mother's view knowing full well what had happened.

" I .... I .... "

Suddenly she coughs out blood, scaring the hell out of Edward.

" Liam !!!! " Edward screamed.

It was very evident that in no time Elena would soon come to acknowledge the fact that his mother was indeed strange and he was not ready for that.

" Yes boss "

" To the hospital " Edward ordered without giving room for questioning.

" Are you planning on vanishing off with her ? " His mother asked.

" You shouldn't be here, if I knew your coming here would worsening her condition..... I.... I would have refused the moment your request got to me " he replied angrily.

" She doesn't belong here and you know it " she replied.

" She belongs here and she remains here with me " Edward replied in an icy tone.

" For how long ? huh, for how long ?  " She asked.

" For as long as I please " he replied vanishing off.

* Outside the mansion *

" Where's the boss , Lima " Magnus asked.

" I .... He was just right beyond me a moment ago, after speaking an unknown language with his mother " Liam replied.

" Anyway, what his orders ? " Noah asked.

" To the hospital " Liam replied.

" What then are we waiting for ? " Noah asked.

* At old man John's house *

" Edward just called " Mr grey said.

" What was the purpose of the call " old man John asked.

" It's Elle " he started.

" Elle ? " Mrs grey asked in shock

" Yes Elle "

" Stop the suspense and tell us exactly what he said " madam Clara urged.

" She suddenly coughed blood and fainted " he finally said after much consideration.

" Oh my , it's not happening again " Mrs grey exclaimed.

" Something must have lead to it " old man John growled.

" He didn't say anything more than I have explained " he replied.

" Let's go see her, John "  madam Clara said.

" We can't " old man John refused.

" She won't want to see us, that child is just like her mother " he explained.

" She understood why we did what we did and moreover, she can't stay angry at us forever " Mrs grey explained.

" I understand what father is trying to say, Edward strictly ordered that no one should come see her " Mr grey explained.

" She's our grandchild for goodness sake " madam Clara thundered.

" And she's is wife " old man John fired back.

" And we have as much right on her as he does " she slammed.

" Enough Clara, you are been unreasonable right now " old man John shunned.

" What ? !!!! " She exclaimed angrily, " how dare you ? " She asked in a hiss.

" Whether you want to here it or not, she belongs to him now and that's finally " he replied, " no more discussion on this. " He ordered.

" You can't tell me what to do " she yelled.

" Oh yes Clara, I can and I just have " he replied walking up the stairs.

" Calm down mother, you know father is very right on this " Mr grey said.

" No more words Hun, it just beat that we let the matter go " Mr grey urged.

" I won't, I must know what lead to her fainting " madam Clara vowed stomping her feet on the ground.

" You're taking this far mom " Mr grey said shaking his head.

* At the hospital *

" How's she doing doc ".

" She very alright sir " the doctor replied. He was extremely shocked when he was informed on Edwards arrival, knowing the distance from his mansion to the hospital. He could not help but think of the possibility of him fly all the way there .   " By the way Mr Edward, how did you get here on time  ? "

" I flew here " Edward replied swiftly without realizing what he had said.
