“Not on your life,” Sam said. “We’ve got our spear guns and our boat ready to go. Tom’s with us too.”
Sam, Derek, and Wyn stared at each other for a moment.
“Okay, if we’re going to do this, I guess we better,” Sam said.
Derek leaned in and kissed Sam, and then Wyn followed suit. When they were done, Derek looked at Stefano and said, “On your lead.”
“To the water!” Stefano shouted.
“To the water!” Stefani shouted back. “All those who would fight with me join me.”
“And all those who are loyal stand by my side,” Stefano said.
From out of nowhere the two guys from the shark tank joined us. I smiled; our army had at least grown. As we started to move toward the water, six men and four women ran to us.
The group wore armor with the Worthington Crest. They approached Sam and made what looked like a salute.
“We’re here to fight, sir,” a tall man in the front said.
“And there are more of us on the way,” a beautiful woman with copper skin and hair died bright white said.
