“I’m so glad to see you, Tom,” he said.
“Me too,” Tom answered him with all the dreaminess of a twenty-something in love.
“Of course, we have another problem,” Logan said, catching Tom up to speed. “We think Dad, the twins, and Stefano have been taken by Stefani.”
“You mean like kidnapped?” Tom asked.
“Exactly,” Logan said, nodding his head at Tom. “Sam smelled her perfume here, and they’re all missing. Deja vu to yesterday when she took us.”
“No, I think they’re fine. I passed them on the way here,” Tom explained. “Stefani was in the car in front of them with a bunch of guys, but your dad, the twins, and Stefano were in the Hummer. No one seemed to be making them drive anywhere. I thought maybe they had patched things up.”
Sam, Logan, and I looked at each other.
“Doubtful,” Sam said. “Not after yesterday. It hasn’t been long enough. Egos are still in high gear.”
Logan and I looked at Sam and nodded.
“Any idea where they were going?” I asked Tom.
