CH284. Kidnapped

Finally, he decides to call her. But her phone is off. 

Lu Min creases his brows. How can it be? He saw her charging her phone a few hours before they left the orphanage. It cannot be out of battery, right?

Or did she switch it off? Maybe she eloped with Lin Mo and switched off her phone so that he cannot reach her.

But once again, he gets rid of the idea. He does not want to believe that that has happened.

Or...orphanage!

Yeah, she must have gone back to the orphanage after he left her. Maybe she is scared of the dark. And she decided to wait there.

He gets into the car and calls manager Chen to ask her if Ye Xiao Xiao is there.

But her response yus negative. Ye Xiao Xiao is not at the orphanage.

Lu Min Chen looks on the floor painfully. And he halts when he sees a phone.

He quickly picks it up, and he realises that it has gone off. The screen is even a little cracked. And it is Ye Xiao Xiao's phone.

He tries switching it on, his hands trembling. And it actually gets powered on.

He tries guessing her password. And after failing for multiple times, he keys in her birth year. And it works.

Immediately, a call comes in. Looking at it, it is from Lin Mo.

Can Lin Mo call her when they are together? No! It cannot be. Unless she is the one calling to tell him that he should not wait for her.

He picks it up. No matter the case, he has to know what that is happening.

"Xiao Xiao, what happened? What was that noise for?" Lin Mo's voice is heard from the other end.

"You are not with her?" Lu Min Chen asks in fear. Noise? There was some noise?

Lin Mo remains silent for a while when he hears Lu Min Chen's voice. And it is only a second later that he digest his words.

"Xiao Xiao is not there? We were talking just a while ago when there came some strange noises. Then her phone went off..."

Kidnapped!

That is the word that comes to Lu Min Chen's head. Ye Xiao Xiao has been kidnapped.

He hangs up and steps on the engine. But he realises that he does not know where to go. Her phone is even here.

He takes his laptop and tries to to find the CCTV of the place. He does not even care that he is going to hack. But nothing has been recorded.

He immediately calls his assistant. He has to do everything to find her!

He got angry and left her alone. Who knew that she would be kidnapped in that short time?

He feels mad at himself. Couldn't he hold on when she was talking to just another man? Now see, she is gone!

"Assemble everyone," he orders and drives away at a very highly speed. 

He is afraid that something might happen to her if he is late.
