CH241. She might get pregnant!

But she holds herself back. She cannot cry over such people. Right now, she is the only one in this world. No one cares about her anymore.

She looks at the clock on the wall. It is half past eight in the morning. He must have left for work already.

She slowly gets out of the bed, trying as much as she can to endure the pain all over her body.

She even has a headache. What on earth did that Maniac do to her?

But she has one big fear in her heart. They did not use any protection. She might get pregnant.

No! She cannot get pregnant now. And more especially with this man who does not care about her.

He said clearly that he was sleeping with her as payment for the three million shillings. And marriage between them cannot work anymore.

She has been brought up by a single dad. And she knows how difficult it was for him.

What is she going to do if she gets pregnant? Only two possibilities come to her mind.

Lu Min Chen might forcefully take the child from her and ban her from ever seeing it.

Or he might not want any association with her and the child. How will she bring up the kid?

Thinking of it, she forces her feet to touch the ground. She has to find a drug store for her on safety.

She groans in pain when she steps down. Her body is not hers anymore. Curse you Lu Min Chen.

But she tells herself that she has to get out. She has to take precautions now. So she keeps struggling.

But after what seems like an eternity, she only manages to move a few centimetres from the bed. 

She holds onto the table, her whole body shaking and energy sipping out of her.

She can not even lift up her leg.  She even thinks that she is burning in her lower body.

She takes in deep breathes to give herself some more energy. After she has gotten out of this damn house, she will know what to do.

But suddenly, the door is pushed open. And before her, appears the person she does not even want to look at now.

She shivers, and her grip on the table wavers. Like something without energy at all, she falls on the ground.

Lu Min Chen tenses up. "Xiao Xiao!" He calls and rushes into the room.

He quickly places the bowl of porridge he had brought on the table and carries her up. "Why did you leave the bed?" He asks worriedly and places her on the bed.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" He asks and checks her body carefully.

All through, Ye Xiao Xiao does not say anything. The trauma she has got from his actions yesterday cannot allow her talk to him normally.

Lu Min Chen sighs when he does not see a scratch on her body. "You cannot move about Xiao Xiao. Just tell me if you need anything," he says.
