Chapter 117: Summer Day Fun (Extra) (New)

Rachel was looking very concentrated by the elaborate sandcastle she was building. Ise, was holding her up on her shoulders.

"Are you almost done" Ise said her shoulders getting weak.

"yeah, got it." Rachel said quickly as she got down from Ise shoulders and they looked at their masterpiece.

Ten narrow, square towers surround the castle, they reach twice the height of the walls and are connected by towering, firm walls made of light grey stone. Grand windows are scattered here and there across the walls in an asymmetric pattern, along with same-sized holes for archers and artillery.

A moderate gate with massive sand doors, a sand bridge.

Huge sand dragon bones litter the fields outside the castle, half overgrown, but still a painful reminder of the past.

Smash!

A beach volleyball blasted through, leaving a shocked Ise and Rachel.

"Oh! S***, Sorry, Ise, Rachel" Nick said aloud. Him, Joey, Alicia, Rika, are playing volleyball. It got out hand. Nara was laughing at the situation; Nick was trying to apologize to stunned Rachel and Ise still trying to process.

Laís, looked at Nara who was laughing erratically as if what she watched was the funniest thing in the word. Maddison laid down a tray of BBQ by them.

"thank you, love." Laís, said sweetly, Nara already had a piece in her mouth and with a flushed face gave Maddison a thumbs up.

"You welcome" Maddison said as she turned to continue to cook with Amara.

Everly is sitting by the edges of the water her feet being hit wave after wave by the salt water. She is fiddling with the Star Gem in her hand, it is warm and giving off a comforting light.

Once they all calmed down Ise and Rachel completely forgot about the destruction of their amazing sandcastle and instead completely became absorbed by the volleyball game.

"Joey!" Rachel screamed at him as the Dolt wasn't paying attention and staring off into space like an idiot. Just as the volleyball hit him directly in the face.

Everything happened in slow motion as Joey fell face first into the sand. He didn't get back up.

"Joey, get up" Nick yelled form the other side of the net.

"I don't want to." He said simply while his face was still planted in the ground.

"….." Everyone else. Cue, Nara laughing hysterically again. Plus Laís, getting annoyed with how loud her laughing was. As she decides to get up and walked to Madison and Amara.

From their the fun continued, after all it was Summer.
