Nostalgia

Hello everyone I'm sorry I didn't post all last week but it was because of the book I need a break well, break for u but for me it wasn't I was still writing everyday, when I first started my book I wrote everyday but posted 3 times a week but eventually I lost that, so I took the week to edit a bunch of drafts and write freely so yea thanks and sorry again

Within the library were long columns of shelves that were filled with books

Enopy looked at his companions before he said

"All right! you guys go handle your business!"he didn't wait for a reply as he walked to the counter at the left side of him

Enzo and Para quickly made their way out Enopy could instantly see the relief on the woman's face as she breathed out some warm Air before she held he chests as if she was on the verge of having a heart attack

She knew that Enopy had came in with the two so she didn't let herself get too comfortable before she put on an extremely bright smile that complemented her long blue dress

"Hello, sir how can I help you" she said just loud enough for Enopy to hear her clearly Enopy didn't mind the whispering because he knew very well that being loud in any library was an unspoken taboo that crossed universes

"Hello, Miss Maria" he glanced down at the little stand that was on the table that had her name on it "can you point me in the direction of the financial and economic books, please" he keep on a bright smile as a weak charisma excluded out of him

There was nothing that he could do about his weak charisma after all he was never much of a mingler in his previous life he was more of a homebody

The lady didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary about him he had above average looks, and his hair although normal around these parts were still pretty eye-catching

"Yes! right this way" she quickly walked out from the librarians desk and walked in front of him after passing about five columns they soon reached what he wanted there wasn't a whole column dedicated to economics but there was one 7 shelf book case full of them

"Thanks!" he said as he walked into the column and stood in front of the book case checking out the titles of different books

"You're welcome!" the lady said charismatically as she scurried away back to the counter

So far he hadn't seen anyone else inside this library but he knew that there was some seating areas in the back area so he concluded that they were probably back there if there was anyone at all

"System scan these books and explain to me the natural currency of this world" Enopy ordered while he continued to flip randomly through books as if he was actually skimming through them so as to not seems suspicious

Affirmative the system said as a blue glow appeared in Enopy's eyes

"Analyzing information 10 minutes till completion" the system said before it went completely silent leaving Enopy to skim through some random books for another 10 minutes

Within two minutes he was extremely bored with fake reading so he picked up a random book and actually began to read it was merely the history of economics in this world this book spans from up to 10,000 years ago. throughout reading it he noticed that there was no dramatic Events, he was indeed looking for some signs of the magic realm but there was no dramatic effects or instantaneous drastic changes it was all calm collected and a smooth journey through the economic world for the most part although it was normal it was also not normal, he just had a gut feeling that couldn't be answered right now but would be eventually

"Beep, beep, scan completed would you like to see the designated information?" The system asked

While he was within his thoughts minutes flew by and finally 10 minutes past

"Not right now" he wanted to go and look for some other information that he was curious about

He immediately went back to the counter and spoke with the lady

"Miss Maria , do you mind directing me towards Global history?" He asked with a slightly more serious expression

"Yes, right away" she immediately dashed out from behind the counter as if she didn't want to offend him and within a few seconds he already stood in front of a two long columns that was labeled as world history

These histories went all the way back to 100,000 years

He had to confirm something that was bugging him

"System can you scan everything?" He asked

"8000 books???...… only 4500 at a time!" The system said

"OK continue" Enopy ordered as he looked around slowly looking at the tins of books around him

"Commencing scan...three hours until completion!" The systems voice rang out

Enopy quickly went to the beast section after all he didn't need the book keepers help this time/ he had three hours to waste so he decided that he was just stroll around and look for it himself

After about two minutes he quickly found it he picked up a stack of random encyclopedias and made his Way to the back of the library

Just as he suspected people were here but not a lot of people not even two to be exact there was only one girl in the corner reading by herself, she wore large glasses and her hair was in two braids as a stack of books stood right beside her while she was completely consumed by whatever she was reading she didn't even notice Enopy's presence

As he glanced at the girl he was easily hit by and wave of nostalgia he remembered when he used to be just like her but it was probably for a different reason he shook his head as he quickly went towards a table all the way in the back right besides the window before he placed his stack of books down and began to read

And like this the hours passed quickly he was pretty bored already not because he couldn't be drawn into the book and zone out but because he read way too fast after studying like a madman his whole previous life being able to read extremely fast while also being able to gain crucial information from what he was reading was like a natural skill so he finished his books and was forced to go and get new ones multiple times but they quickly became repetitive but he still forced himself to read on

"Beep, beep, Scan completed would you like to see the results of economic scan and Global history scan?" The system asked

"Yes, show me the money system of this world and all key information about the power system from 100,000 years ago to now" he answered softly within his head as he pushed his thoughts to a back of his mind

But in a few moments information was displayed in front of him on an invisible blue screen
