"System!" Enopy was furious; he felt as if all his training had been for nothing "have you had this ability this whole time!" he released some of his anger in the form of a question, but the answer would determine his next actions.
"No," the system said with its iconic cold, lifeless voice.
"Oh," Enopy took a few seconds to process the system's answer, giving him time to quell his anger, "Then how did you get this ability."
"I learned it from the entity," the system replied.
"That makes sense given that it did help Ervice become such a high-ranked mind manipulator, but....the system can learn and improve?" Enopy said with a curious expression.
"system, scan the uses of this item and incorporate them into yourself," Enopy said as he took out an information scanner with an ecstatic expression.
"Scanning...… already have features."
"Oh, it must have been from last time during the bookshelf scanning," Enopy said as he took out a cognition orb.
"Scanning...… aspects available for integration. time is 10 hours would you like to continue, " the system said.
"Wait, scan a couple more items," Enopy said as he pulled out a power appraiser.
"Scanning...… aspects available for integration time is 10 hours would you like to continue," the system said.
"Wait," Enopy pulled out the mind shield technique. "Scan this."
"Scanning...… already have incomplete features collected comprehension is at 90% time needed to finish two days," the system said.
"Oh, it should have comprehended the mind shield over the time that I have been a mind manipulator," Enopy said as he scratched his hairless chin.
"system, can you integrate them all at once?" Enopy asked.
"Yes, time will be extended" the system replied.
"How much will it be extended," Enopy asked.
"Mind shield = 3 days
Power appraiser = 12 hours
Cognition orb = 24 hours
Would you like to start?" the system listed and asked.
"wait, scan this," Enopy said as he pulled out a black rusted ring.
"Scanning...… aspects available for integration time is one month would you like to continue?" the system said.
"Plus the other integrations, how much time would it take," Enopy said as he ignored the question.
"Mind trainer = 1 month and a half"
"Ok, scan this" Enopy pulled out a light blue glove that seemed almost white, but as Enopy grabbed it turned darker and darker, eventually turning entirely black.
"Scanning...… aspects available for integration. Time is one month would you like to continue?"
"Plus the other integrations, how much time would it take," Enopy asked.
"Appraiser = 1 month and one week".
"Ok, system start," Enopy said as he grinned; "it's a good thing I looked through my loot gained from Ervice, or I would have never found the appraiser."
"System, send the meanings straight to my mind," Enopy commanded.
"Ok, I have improved all mistakes made during comprehension," the system commented.
"Ok," Enopy said as he sat back down and absorbed all the items back into his space ring, leaving the fear strike technique and the heatwave technique.
"My meeting with the city lord's daughter is in 5 days according to the last time I checked, but much more time must have passed, but I have a plan, but I still want to have an escape plan if it doesn't work out. I should start training now," Enopy said as he halted the scratching of his chin and closed his eyes.
He laid his hands on the techniques and slowly pulled out the sound wave and eye-shaped meanings; he immediately began the comprehension, but the time was cut to mere minutes, which passed quickly, preserving Enopy's energy as he moved on to the next step, the fusion. He cleared his mind and lowered his guard putting his whole focus into the fusion. Not long later the meanings completely fused. Several quiet minutes later Enopy opened his eyes and glanced at the floating meaning.
The meaning had the form of an orange heatwave that had black streaks flashing through it, it moved fast. Enopy was only able to see it split up and head to their respective techniques. He knew that one would get a slightly smaller portion of the meaning and stay the same, but the other one would get most of the meaning, and the diagram forcing Enopy to flip through them his expectations were proven wrong when he saw that the diagram was in the fear strike technique.
"I have no way to test the technique without a target....oh yeah, I have those," Enopy said as he opened his space ring, and three peak rank one robots leaped out of his space ring.
"Go over there and attack me when you are laid on the ground," Enopy commanded as he pointed at the end of the room and leaped to the opposite side.
The robots walked to the end of the room and immediately attacked Enopy.
Enopy paused for a few seconds allowing his opponents to get within 10 feet of him before he used the technique.
First, they showed fear as they took a step back, and then they seemed as if they were dizzy.
Enopy ran to them, grabbed them by their heads, and laid them on the ground.
"Good technique. I can probably do some damage to a human magic knight, but the bots don't have techniques, so I can't accurately test my power," Enopy said as he absorbed the bots back into his space ring.
Enopy sat back down; he wanted to be sure that he had some level of mastery in meaning fusion; he took out the gum technique and drown technique.
He went through the whole process, and the results were a success in creating the sinking gum technique; the diagram was located in the gum technique which gave Enopy assurance in his skills.
"System, how long have I been in the training room," Enopy asked as he walked out of the room.
"2 days," the system's voice resounded in Enopy's mind.
"So three days left," Enopy said as his stomach let out a thunderous roar, there was no kitchen in the dimensional living space, forcing Enopy to go out and eat. "I need to clean myself up," Enopy said as he looked at his spot-covered robe and hair.
Enopy quickly cleaned himself up and made his way out of the slums, and started his food search.
