Lin Xi was somewhat disgruntled, as she had wanted to wrap herself around Li Qiang for a vigorous "battle", but clearly, his mind was elsewhere. Without a choice, she had to give up and let Li Qiang carry her back to bed.
Lin Xi, annoyed, turned her head away, unwilling to look at Li Qiang's face. Seeing the young girl in a sulk, Li Qiang could only pull her into his arms, gently patting her back: "Little bunny, so cute, hopping and jumping..."
Lin Xi turned to look at Li Qiang, her eyes filled with speechlessness: "What are you doing? I'm not a child anymore." Li Qiang chuckled and then planted a kiss on Lin Xi's cheek: "Isn't this because a certain little bunny is angry, and needs to be coaxed to get better?"
Lin Xi ignored Li Qiang, choosing to close her eyes instead, but the slight upward turn of her lips betrayed the fact that she was actually in a good mood. Li Qiang touched Lin Xi's soft hair and then closed his eyes.
And so, the two slept in each other's arms.
