Phineas

I woke up in a real good mood the next day. i felt like i had slept real good , i was rested, finally.

The girl was not in bed, she must've already started her day. As I was lying there....because i had no legs, she walked in again. Alright you, hmmmm i don't know about that. I mean you are a decent sized pearl, I feel like you need a name "she said in a soft voice"

I inwardly smiled and sighed. She was easy on the eyes with light brown hair, light grey eyes and she was about 5'4''. Her skin was a soft white.

"Ok so you are a pearl and I will call you...Phineas, yeah Phineas the Pearl" she smirked as she said it.

"Alright Phineas I am Lulane, i gotta go to work, then I will be back and we can decide what we will do with you" she said as she patted my head and walked away.

I was a little sad about her leaving. Although i hadn't known her for even a full day, she was all the contact I had for who know's how long. I didn't want to leave her side. I wished I could've gone to her job with her. I truly wanted to see what was in this world. She was my key to this world..for now anyways.

I had a decent amount of time to think about my fate while Lulane was at her job. I just knew I didn't want to be in some weird case, and people would just come up and look at me. i wanted and needed to travel. I had to see if i could find a way to get my body back, or at least a suitable replacement. To travel around possibly help other people who were in my predicament. So not only what could I offer this world, but what can this world offer me?

Lulane came in as the sun was setting. She was smiling and it was a nice smile. Lulane sat down next to me and i rolled to her and went into her thigh. "Oooooopps, sorry Phineas. I didn't mean to do that" she said as I just smiled, because that was all i could do.

"First of all Phineas, my clients today were really scummy and didn't tip well. Which makes me said. " she said as she gave me a pouty look. "I need money to pay the rent that is due. I barely made it last month and this month doesn't look much better." Lulane sighed as crashed head first into the pillow. She started to twitch a little as she began a light snore. It was rather cute. I slowly fell into a slumber as well, I ended up next to her soft cheek. How could i not fall asleep?

As we woke up together the next day, I looked outside as Lulane did. She stretched and yawned whilst sitting on the bed. We both noticed it was a very orange and red day today. She picked me up and we went over to the window.

"Holy sh*t, there's a huge meteor flying at us!" Lulane screamed. She held onto me and we took off out of the house and into the wet jungle. The animals were running the same way we were. Although we weren't as fast. I was being held in Lulane's hand and could see a little as she had me clenched in her fist and pumping back and forth. I could see a mountain in front of us. Although it was a ways away, i think that is where we were heading.

It didn't help that it seemed the meteor was right on our heels. I know it wasn't that close because we weren't getting ran over by it yet, but both of us were so afraid, I could see tears in her eyes as she was running with me.

It seemed like we were running for a couple of hours! I couldn't believe that she was able to run for so long. I was really impressed, maybe she was an athlete or a warrior of some sort? but what are these clients she was talking about, i asked myself.

"Who's there?" Lulane said in a scared crackling voice.

I didn't see anyone beside us. Which i thought was strange, but just assumed that we were the only ones awake at day break.

This is really weird, I don't see anyone and I can't tell if she can either. I queried my brain and eyes, but nothing.

"Alright, I can hear you, what do you want from me." Lulane said as she froze from a dead run. She was breathing heaving and hunched over.

"Wait! can she hear me?" i said in a shocked tone.

"Yes I can hear you where and who are you, what do you want?"

"Lulane, it's me, Phineas!" I said excitedly.

"Phineas?" she quietly said as she stood up and held me close to her face, examining me, closer than anyone has ever looked at me.

"It's me, I swear!" affirmatively saying as a pearl who has, no mouth or eyes that are visible.

Lulane, looked amazed and a slanted smirk landed on her face. Just as she was about to say something, we could both feel the force and the heat from the Meteor. It was so close. Lulane started running again.

I don't think she is going to make it, i thought.

"Hey, have some faith in me!" she said proudly.

"My bad" i said, I was a little embarrassed. I'm sure she felt me brain blush.

Just as quickly as i said my bad though, the meteor...
