Chapter 3: The History of Great Days

Inou: Huh?!?

Principal Sanemi: *blocks the attack*

Yakitori: Hmm?!

Inou: Crap... I'm out of here

Sanemi: Where do you think you're going?, I won't tolerate this, fighting among peers on school grounds outside of an official match if strictly prohibited.

Yakitori: Sorry Principal Sanemi, but, I won't be letting what he just tried to do slip.

Inou: Yeah yeah, I don't give a shit either way. I'm not apologizing for what I did, and I'm not agreeing to any official matches either.

Principal Sanemi: Both of you be quiet! I will not allow this foolishness. Class is about to start, get back to it right now! After class you will come to see me in the office. Am I clear?

Inou: Tsk.

Yakitori: Yes sir.

Illeya: Urm, what about me?

Principal Sanemi: you come too.

Illeya: Okay

Yakitori: Let's go Illeya.

Illeya: Yes.

Yakitori: sorry, I wasn't able to get payback for you.

Illeya: MhmMhm, doesn't matter, I don't want you getting into trouble trying to protect me. I want to be strong enough to protect myself.

*After School*

Yakitori: Sir we're here.

Principal Sanemi: you and Illeya have arrived, but where's Inou?

Inou: don't start getting mad now gramps, I'm right here. So what's our punishment for breaking the school rules?

Principal Sanemi: punishment? Even if I were to give you the punishment for fighting among peers, you would take it as a reward.

Inou: Ho?

Aiko: There won't be any punishment for this one, you should be happy. We gave you a break since it's only the first day, however, if it happens again... There would be serious consequences. Please consider the effect fighting would have on the other young mages around you. Yakitori, you are of the blood of two known mages all around the world, so strong that many nations fear them and label them as monsters on this earth, so as expected.. you inherited their monstrous power, you may be a first year.. but you are definitely strong enough to compete with our third years, fifth years are a totally different story all together.

Yakitori: My parents have barely anything to do with my strength, I trained ever since I was two years old. I only inherited my parents magical abilities and physical abilities, and it wasn't by choice. However I'm not going to say I hate the fact that they are my parents or the powers I have, these powers were given to me for a reason. I don't know what it is, but I set my own goal in place.

Sanemi: Ho?

Yakitori: I'm gonna... Leave this country and search for the legendary magikal index called Great Days and become the strongest mage in the world

Sanemi: Ahh, I see, I see.... Huhhhh?!?!?, What do you mean look for Great Days? A kid like you? If it were that easy someone would have found it already!!

Inou: Hmph, your two years younger than me and yet your goal in life has already been set into stone, Yakitori was it? I also have a goal thats set solidly. I plan to.... Take down one of the Seven Sins of Justice.

Sanemi: You are way to confident, if you keep overestimating yourself.. you'll be killed.

Aiko: You to have big goals, Inou I'm sure you know fighting one of the Sins would be you picking a fight with the world government, and Yakitori... Great Days is a Magikal Index that has only been found once by the previous Queen of England.. Queen Elizabeth the First.. she was the first and only person to find the Great Days Magikal Index, however.. she did not remove it from it's post.

When the world government and found out that she new where it was, they made there move with one goal in mind.... "Capture the Queen no one should know where that Magikal Index is located" that's what the Captain of the European army said at the time. A big war boiled over in England resulting in the Queens death, there was no one after her who knew where the Great Days is located, do you still wish to look for something that we aren't even sure exists?

Yakitori: It doesn't matter if it exists or not, we won't know for sure, and my goal still stays the same either way, I'll become the strongest. One month!

Sanemi: HUH?

Aiko: Ho?

Yakitori: In one month I'll be leaving this country, with Illeya, I.... Will find the Great Days. Illeya, let's go.

Illeya: yes.

*After school*

Yakitori: You live with you parents?

Illeya: No. My parents passed away when I was very young, so I live alone.

Yakitori: Mhmm, would you like to live with me at my place?

Illeya: Eh?

Yakitori: We'll be working together from today so I think it will be easier if you live with me.

Illeya: You don't live with your parents?

Yakitori: No, They left and went to live in Shibuya when I finished my fourth year in elementary school.

Illeya: Why?

Yakitori: I asked them to, plus it was for my sister's protection. If they had stayed here in Tokyo my younger sister would be in danger.

Illeya: So you have a younger sister.

Yakitori: Yeah, she's nine years old, her name is Aiya.

Illeya: Hm. Aiya? Her name is so beautiful. Can I meet her?

Yakitori: I'm not sure if that's possible right now, maybe later on.

Illeya: Ok. I'll take up your offer, I'll live by you from now on, I agree it will be easier like that, plus you're stronger than I am, we can get some training done now.

Yakitori: Yes, let's go to your house then and start packing.

Illeya: Yes.

*At Illeya's house*

Yakitori: That's everything?

Illeya: Yes.

Yakitori: Ok, Let's get to my house, and start unpacking everything. Then we can order something for dinner tonight.

Illeya: PIZZA!!!!

*At Yakitori's House*

Illeya: Finally we're finished unpacking.

Yakitori: Yes, it took longer than expected. You have alot of stuff, I was surprised.

Illeya: Well I guess. So are we ordering the pizza?

Yakitori: For you? Yes, I don't want pizza tonight, my favorite is shrimp pasta so I'll be getting that.

*Door bell rings*

Illeya: I'll get it! Ohh it's the food. How much will it be?

Fast food worker: A girl? It says here that a boy named yakitori ordered it.

Illeya: Yes. He is here but he's busy right now so I'm receiving it, is there a problem?

Fast food worker: No, there's no problem, I was just making sure it's the right house, I could get in trouble if it's the wrong house you know.

Illeya: uhh yh.

Fast food worker: The Shrimp Pasta is Thirty dollars and the Pizza is five dollars.

Illeya: Ok, here, thanks for the food.

Fast food worker: Your welcome, don't get too frisky in there now, I know how you younger ones are.

Illeya: Eh? Huh?... Huhhhh?!?

Yakitori: I'm gonna go take a bath, you can start eating if you want.

Illeya: I'll wait. Wait... Now that I think about it I need a bathe too. Yakitori!

Yakitori: Yes.

Illeya: Is there a bath for me?

Yakitori: The house is big so there are multiple baths in the guest bedrooms, use one of them.

Illeya: Huhh?!? Why... Can't I have a bath with you?

Yakitori? Hmm? I didn't know you were into that kinda stuff.

Illeya: Did you think I agreed to work with you just because of a dream?!? It's obvious that I like you! I'm not gonna pretend like I don't. Make space.. I'm coming in the bathe with you.

Yakitori: yeah yeah.

Yakitori: Okay, let's go eat.

Illeya: Wait! Help me with my hair, it's long and it takes a while to do normally, but with you here it's gonna be easier.

Yakitori: Okay, I'll help out, I've helped my sister with her hair alot so I think I know what I'm doing.

Illeya: Looks good! Thank you.

Yakitori: Right, let's go eat.

Illeya: So, You told me your goal and all, but... How are we going to achieve it.... Do you really think we'll be able to fight other mages, especially the highly powerful ones like The Seven Sins and The Four Commandments, plus the World Government who's goal is to regulate and control the activities of mages all around the world?

Yakitori: It's not the matter of if we can, but in order to achieve our goals.. we must. Plus we won't be two forever, soon we would have a full team filled with strong mages who have a similar goal as us, maybe their goal is entirely different but their views are the same, love is all that matters. Love is what makes a team, as a leader if I don't love me team members.. can I really call my self their leader?

Illeya: Love? I didn't know love had such a strong meaning...

Yakitori: The meaning of love can change depending on the person your hearing it from. What I just told you was my meaning, now.. never forget it.
