Ignited Heart

Nathan, a novice, must face a situation where he must save a girl who he doesn't even know her name.

A feeling when Nathan first left the city that was under his father's rule, his pounding heart, he now feels it again. Like, how someone who just got on a plane or ship for the first time. The waves or storms that are in front of him make him feel a great heartbeat.

What Nathan would do, he really doesn't know. He himself wonders why he's so desperate to save someone he doesn't know, even to the point of worrying about losing her.

Behind Leonardo, that's the picture of the wave in question.

Whether the ship he is driving will fight the waves or avoid it, as the captain, is a challenge in itself. If the captain who likes to defy death and ignore the crew, surely the ship he is driving will be forced to penetrate the waves. If the captain likes to look for safety and cares about the safety of the crew, then he will try his best to avoid collision with the waves and follow its flow.

Time seemed so long, watching the prison emit an unpleasant smell to the left and right, then his eyes fall on someone he had just met.

A girl who is still wearing a maid outfit, is sitting in the corner of the room on the edge of the iron bars.

The footsteps stopped.

A burning ember spread rapidly in his heart, the hand immediately pulls the sword from the scabbard after gripping the sword hilt tightly. With a whirlwind of thoughts, Nathan darts towards the back where Leonardo is.

In a dimly lit hallway, vision will be more limited, and therefore the power of illusion will be more effective.

Nathan's speed isn't that fast, but Leonardo cann't even see it.

Leonardo who only sees Nathan disappear in front of him is very surprised. However, it seemed that he had prepared himself for what he was going to face this time, such as what the risks would be as an illegal slave trader.

That way, Nathan who should be able to kill Leonardo at that moment is also thwarted by the unexpected appearance of a flash of light that protects Leonardo.

"Mr. Customer, what are you doing?" Leonardo screams with a pale face, staring fearfully at Nathan who is about to attack him again.

Nathan doesn't actually hear Leonardo's screams.

Don't know how many times the sword has been swung and it should have torn apart Leonardo's body. Unfortunately, the flash of light continues to dispel the blade of the sword that is about to tear Leonardo's body.

Screaming, afraid that his life would be taken, Leonardo continues to walk backwards. Even though he hasn't injured right now, seeing death in front of him still scared him to the point of having trouble running, even though there is a big enough way for him to escape from there.

The look in Nathan's eyes is no longer as bright as the cloudless sky. It looked cloudy like a dark cloud that held rainwater and thunder that shook everyone's heart.

The slash of his sword is full of power, different from when Nathan fought a goblin before.

Not caring about his attacks which are always blocked by flashes of light, Nathan really doesn't stop the swing of his sword that is continuously aimed at Leonardo.

Walking backwards, there is a rock in the area where even the steps cannot be seen. Moreover, being in such fear, with a body that is difficult to control, Leonardo who stumbled finally falls to the ground. His eyes are filled with tears as he watches the blades continue to threaten him, hoping desperately that the ring which provided protection on his hand could continue to protect him from Nathan.

"Damn it. This guy is crazy..." Leonardo grumbles as he crawls away trying to get away from Nathan who is going crazy.

"What exactly do you want? I'll make it happen, while I can still do it. Please, stop swinging that terrible sword..." Leonardo says as the liquid coming out of his nostrils mingled with saliva.

The slender sword looked like it was about to stab at Leonardo, perhaps at that moment, the sharp blade could pierce the flash that always kept him from slashing at Leonardo, but it doesn't move when it was ready to launch.

"I'm not sure if you can free the one slave you just got voluntarily..."

Leonardo seems to see hope in getting out of this fear. Even though his face feels stiff, he forces himself to pull the corners of his lips in either direction for a positive expression.

"I don't mind! Of course I don't mind freeing one slave, Mr. Customer. As long as you stop attacking me for no reason like this..."

The blade that was previously ready to be stabbed slowly moves downward, before being followed by Nathan's posture which was no longer as violent as before. Then after the blade was sheathed into its scabbard, Nathan says: "That's good then..."

Leonardo asks Nathan to show him which slave he wanted to be free.

Although it's hard to let go of a slave he had obtained from his transaction with the woman, Leonardo chooses not to deal with someone like Nathan. He feels that Nathan is more sinister than his fierce-looking men. With his considerable experience, as an illegal slave trader, he had met all kinds of people. And, he knew what kind of Nathan is.

Nathan who is still showing a cold smile at Leonardo says: "Thank you for your understanding, Mr. Leonardo. Hopefully, you will not disturb this lady again. Or else, you will face me again...."

"You take it easy. If you wish, I will order some of my subordinates to keep that lady out of harm's way while not dealing with the government..."

"It's good enough..."

Watching Nathan leave with the newly freed slaves, Leonardo took a deep breath, before muttering: "That young man will surely make an extraordinary achievement. I didn't expect someone like him to go into a dirty place like this just to save a mere maid. I really have to make a good impression on him..."

...

Some tables are still empty. In one of them, Nathan and the Maid Dressed Girl sit waiting for the order to arrive.

With a sigh of relief, Nathan no longer wore the cold face he had done at the illegal slave traders. Which, at that moment, he really was in a semi-conscious state. He had even forgotten how to turn his face as cold as before.

"I'm glad you came to save me. But, is it okay for you to have to deal with that slave trader? I'm afraid, in the future, you will get in trouble for saving me...."

"That's no matter. I'll do everything to get you back..." Nathan said it spontaneously.

The flowers that have grown are growing, blooming in the sun and looking so beautiful. The face that has been painted a pink hue can't be shown to Nathan.

In ignorance of the reason Nathan was willing to save her from slavery, the Maid Dressed Girl is unable to ask him. But one thing she knew, what Nathan had done for his has to be paid for.

By liberating herself from bondage, it is the same as she who has returned to life. Meanwhile, the life she currently has is caused by Nathan helping her.

Thinking of that, in order to pay for what Nathan did to her, the Maid Dressed Girl who has nothing precious to give is even more embarrassed by herself. Whatever she thinks, it seems to be something that is certainly a shame to do.

Only opening her mouth before she could speak, Nathan says first: "By the way, I don't know your name yet..."
