Meeting in the palace

They reached the palace where the gathering was held. The Mages, the Wizards from the portal, the Witches on their broom, the Fairies, and their glowing wings and other different creatures came simultaneously.

They look for a vacant place while diving into a pool of creatures. "I thought the population of our world would be reduced after the incidents, but seems to be increasing." Ria laughed and then approached Sophie's ear.

"There's an aftershock in their houses." Sophie's forehead twisted, not getting her friend's point. Enchanters appeared from the palace, Sophie saw Fausta waving, so she waved back. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you," she was distracted by waving at Fausta and for what Ria told her that she didn't even notice where they were. She looks at Ria because she blames her for losing her mind in reality.

"It's okay, Sophie." Sophie was surprised by the man, as he mentioned her name without even asking for it.

"Do I know you?" Sophie asked as she stared at the man and wondered if they had met before.

"Nope." The man smiled and left without saying a word.

"He's Creepy," Sophie whispered to Ria. "Indeed"

They all settled down as soon as the King's mages come into sight. "Everyone, sorry for the unexpected gathering. Today, His Majesty will speak about the incidents that threaten our lives." a murmur filled the vicinity. "Let us all give respect to King Zhaodus!" as the butterflies flew, like a tornado, it releases the king that made the crowd filled with excitement and wonder.

"Butterflies are a symbol of Royalties, in every dimension, if ever this creature is a Royalty, it would approach you and guide you too."

"Weirdo," Everyone bowed in respect for the king, which was Sophie's chance to peek at who was talking to her. The butterflies that once surrounded the king are now flying everywhere. One of them landed on Sophie's shoulder.

"However, butterflies are butterflies, they will go wherever they want, no one knows why they touch upon something blah blah ... blah .... blah ..."

Sophie started to get irritated, so she switched positions. Now Ria is between them wondering who the man is. "Creepy weirdo," Ria whispered to her while the man keeps speaking.

After the meeting, Sophie and Ria immediately went back to their dorm and talked about what had happened. Sophie was disappointed because she could not confirm that the king was doing something about the disaster.

"Why are you like that to our king?" Ria said. Sophie, herself, cannot understand what is happening to her. Ever since she learned about the truth by the old lady, she felt angry as if King Zhaodus did not deserve the throne. Sophie knew in her heart that she had a strange feeling of an annoyance since she found out there was something wrong with what was written in the book. She feels that her family is the victim of what happened.

Even though she did not yet know the whole truth, she was able to think that King Zhaodus was the mastermind behind the accusation that the woman was a spy and the betrayal of the former king. Even the death of the queen, she sued King Zhaodus.

Sophie decides to tell Ria the whole story from the meeting between Valerie and Aud. "The old lady was an illusionist?" Ria said.

"Illusionist? Illusions?" Sophie has read about the Illusionists; they live in Fairden.

Illusions of their powers are so dangerous when they play you, so they are separated from Redacre because they sometimes threatened the lives of magicians, even the king of the palace. Because of it, they are in a different dimension that if desired to enter, they would have to go through different places with different living beings, so it would be impossible for the old lady to come from there.

Because Ria found out that the old lady was an illusionist, she was even more worried about Sophie, and at the same time, she wondered how an illusionist was in their world. Her mind was debating whether she should tell the king or just let it go first.

Sophie went to the library to return some books and find a new one to read. She was still wondering why Ria suddenly left without saying a word. She worries that Ria might be upset with her because she kept it secret about meeting the old man again even though her friend had warned her.

She was interrupted by the librarian as it calls her.

"Oh, Ms. Lin, I'll just return these books." Sophie showed her the books she was holding but still did not let her enter. "Oh I know, but something is missing from your outfit." Sophie glanced at herself, dressed in her uniform, and wearing a full suit.

"What's wrong with my outfit?"

"You must pick a number darling! Today is the day we draw random numbers, and whoever wins will have free access to the VIP room here in our library!" happy explanation of Ms. Lin.

"hmm, I see." Sophie picked up a number as she put a mischievous smile on her lips.

After class Sophie immediately headed back to her favorite spot on the Redacre. Not to meet Mica, but to read and study magic spells. More like transportation spells. She has this thought that this would really help her to find her parents. She even tried to locator spell but it doesn't work— maybe they are too far. That's why Sophie started to look for some Kingdoms or Empire that are far from Lochwynne.

She remembered the conversation between Valerie and Aud, as well as moving to the tree so they can show each other's feelings to each other. She walked near the tree and sit under it, she leans her back and closed her eyes.
