CHAPTER TWO

Cradling the child, Aurar told the man still kneeling to stand up, "it's is good you brought her to me. The cure for now is just to seal her developing powers until she grows and go through the change"

Pure blooded vampires and shifters are being who are extremely powerful and hard to kill not that they can't be killed seeing from the death of princess Hatshepsut and her pure-blooded consort and Shifter Cassius Blue.

Pure bloods are rare and their birth is extremely hard and needs sacrifices which is the death of their birth mother. During their birthing, they claw their way out of the mother and despite the mother being a pure blood herself because only the combination of two pure bloods can have the power to give birth to another pure blood.

Looking at the age of the child in his arms which is four having read her bone age after touching her, this is a minor vampire ability, it can be seen how powerful his pure-blooded daughter really was for not dying immediately after giving birth to this extremely powerful dual pure-blooded granddaughter of his.

Looking at how his majesty the king of vampires and the ruler of Georgia touched the child so carefully as if afraid of hurting her the haggard man became more resolute and relieve that he has chosen to come to him first to save her.

The reason he chose to come to Georgia instead of Washington where her other relative reside is because vampires are more rational and rarely give in to their anger and sadness which is not the same for shifters and he needed to give the child urgent care not to get beaten up first.

He knows that he cannot avoid the beating seeing the immense task that he has been charged with but, he is resolute in completing it no matter what and from how the vampire king is reacting, he knows the key to everything is the little child and he hope he is not wrong on this one.

Coming back from his thought, he heard the king saying, "what is your name human?"

"Pietro, my name is Pietro" he said twice to make sure his voice is not shaky since it is not everyday you can be in the presence of the vampire king and still remain immune to the power surrounding him.

" I thank you for bringing her to me Pietro and you are welcome to stay as long as you like. For anything you would like, you are free to contact Carlos" at the end of his word, another vampire immediately appeared beside him in a kneeling position as if he has been summoned which he has but through the telepathic link which Aurar shares with all his vampires.

"Yes, your majesty. C-can I see her when she wakes up?" Pietro asked because he was afraid, he would not be allowed to get near her after she wakes up and that would make her panic because he has always been near every time, she wakes up even for a little time. He doesn't want her to be afraid at not seeing anyone she knows nearby.

Seeing his nervousness, Aurar couldn't help but soften up a bit at remembering that he has always been near his baby granddaughter and even protected her all the way here which is very admirable and although he doesn't know what he his to his deceased precious daughter, but at the thought of his service, he decided to reward him.

"Of course. When she awakes, I will send Carlos to inform you and you are dismissed" he said while dismissing both of them because he wishes to stay with his little precious darling.

Arriving in front of a beautiful decorated bedroom, two guards can be seen standing both left and right of it and when they noticed Aurar, their king, they bowed but were excused and they opened the door for him.

Inside the room, Aurar was suddenly hit by extreme nostalgia. This room is the very room he prepared for his beloved daughter, it looks exactly like a copy of his apart from the colour which is very befitting of his little princess and Pearl of his heart.

'She is not here now; Aurar get yourself together' he told himself. Yes, he will hold himself together because there is something more precious to protect now and he won't be making the same mistake

He laid his baby granddaughter on the large wide bed which made her form even smaller and covered her with the bed sheet. Thinking for a while, he leaned over and kissed her forehead while saying, "little darling, I will find who killed your mother and make them pay" finished, he stood up and move to the corner of the room to watch over his little darling until she next awake.

Two hours later, Aurar was roused out of his thought when he felt the child move so, he immediately came nearer so he would be the first person she sees and he clearly seems to have forgotten that a child who suddenly appears in an environment unknown to her would panic.

Aurar stood near the bed and watched in rapture as his little darling opened her eyes and the colour took his breath away. They are pure green different from the blue of his daughter, such a mysterious colour that symbolises the quiet breath of the life, vitality of the forests and its very beauty.

He watched her look around herself and then noticed his presence and immediately panic when she realises, she didn't recognise him.

Aurar immediately panicked when she started crying and tried his best to make her stop crying and laugh instead by doing all sorts of actions which if seen by others, would be deemed undignified but, who would dare to criticise him - the king.

Thank the stars he already gave instructions to Carlos to call Pietro when she stirred.

The door was knocked and she stopped crying and looked around towards the door curiously and Aurar immediately gave entry out loud, "come in" which made her turn and observe him with eyes that are now black in colour he noted since they were green before which means her eye is not only one colour but multiple and changes due to her mood, interesting.

Aurar smiled gently at her in order to ease her mood the best way he can since he already reined in his threatening aura from before after all, his little darling isn't like his daughter Hatshepsut since she was born here and has already awakened so there was no need to fear him but, his granddaughter on the other hand is different, she is human now with her powers sealed but still has her sense of danger which he presumes she is using instinctively.
