Chapter 4

　　Leonard's words shocked Hubert and Mona.

　　The disgust on Mona's face hadn't faded yet when she froze on the spot.

　　She looked at Leonard in disbelief and mumbled, "Why didn't you fire him?"

　　In Mona's eyes, Randall was just a security guard in the Eric Group. How could Leonard offend his business partner for a nobody?

　　Never would she know that the useless Randall in her eyes turned out to be Leonard's boss.

　　"I have just asked him. He did not speak rudely to you," Leonard said coldly.

　　"He was lying!" Mona shouted, almost losing control.

　　Hubert was standing behind Mona. He didn't want to offend Leonard, so he gently pulled her arm.

　　"He didn't lie. As a technology company, the Eric Group has the HD surveillance system. Do you need me to get the surveillance footage?"

　　Leonard's words stunned Mona and Hubert.

　　Randall didn't initiate the whole thing. The surveillance footage would expose the truth.

　　However, Mona was still unwilling to give up. She said in a low voice with dissatisfaction, "We are your partners. Will you drive us away for a security guard?"

　　Leonard and his assistant both sneered.

　　Leonard's assistant said, "With the Sarton Group's business capacity, I'm sorry that you're not qualified to be our partner."

　　Mona screamed angrily, "How can you be like this? You are going too far!"

　　Leonard's assistant glanced at the security guard beside him and said, "Get them out."

　　The head of the security department immediately stepped forward. He grabbed Mona's wrist and twisted it.

　　Mona screamed in pain and her expression became extremely ferocious.

　　"Send them off and tell the entire security department that as long as this woman appears in the Eric Group, I will expel whoever let her in."

　　Then Leonard left.

　　Hubert and Mona were driven out of the Eric Group. They stood at the company entrance. Mona's hair became messy and she looked extremely miserable.

　　Hubert looked back and saw Randall watching them. There was still a mocking smile on Randall's face.

　　Hubert angrily pulled Mona, eager to leave the Eric Group.

　　"It hurts! Don't pull me so hard!" Mona's wrist had just been twisted. The pain was more intense now.

　　She soon got rid of Hubert's wrist.

　　She had never been so embarrassed before, so she could not calm down easily.

　　Hubert suppressed his anger and said, "Hurry up and leave! Aren't you ashamed?"

　　"You didn't even dare to say a word just now, and now you think I'm embarrassing you? I haven't even complained that you're useless!"

　　Mona felt that Hubert had not spoken up for her. She felt extremely wronged.

　　Hubert slapped Mona angrily.

　　Mona was stunned.

　　"Shut up!" Hubert said fiercely, "Do you know how important the invitation is to our Sarton family? Now that we have been driven out, how can we explain it to grandpa when we go back? I was stupid to marry a b*tch like you."

　　Mona was so scared by Hubert that she did not dare to speak. She covered her face and remembered the task given by Stanley.

　　Randall came to Leonard's office.

　　He had just witnessed the whole process. He said with satisfaction, "Leonard, you did well just now. I need you to announce something to the public."

　　"Mr. Bruno, I'm all ears," Leonard said respectfully.

　　"Announce that the Eric Group will invest two hundred million dollars at the National Technology Summit on a technology museum in New York. The bidding will be open to the members of the National Technology Summit."

　　"Yes, Mr. Bruno." Leonard nodded.

　　The Sarton family had always wanted an invitation to the National Technology Summit. Stanley's goal was to expand the company's business and obtain a few good projects.

　　In the evening, all the members of the Sarton Family went to Stanley's study to report their process. When Stanley heard Hubert failed to get the invitation and got the Sarton Group blacklisted by the Eric Group, he was so angry that he threw the coffee cup in his hand on the spot.

　　"Grandfather, you can't blame me for this. It's all Randall's fault. He could have admitted that he was the one who provoked us, but he deliberately pretended to be silent and thus irritated Mr. Mitchell," Hubert argued.

　　Stanley had always favored his grandson Hubert. At least in his eyes, Hubert was more useful than Randall.

　　He said angrily to Randall. "Why didn't you come out and admit your mistake at that time? Do you think that your job is more important than the invitation to the National Technology Summit?"

　　"Grandpa, how can you say that? If Mona had not humiliated Randall in front of Mr. Mitchell, they would not have been chased out of the Eric Group." Shirley spoke up for Randall.

　　"Shut up!" Stanley slapped the table heavily. He looked at Shirley and said sternly, "You have to remember who you are! Otherwise, get lost with this trash!"

　　Hubert sighed in relief when he saw Shirley and Randall being scolded.

　　At this time, Stanley's secretary suddenly knocked on the door. Then he walked in and said, "Mr. Sarton, the Eric Group announced just now that they would invest two hundred million dollars at the National Technology Summit as start-up funds for the technology museum in New York."

　　'What?' Everyone in the study widened their eyes in shock.

　　The secretary continued, "But this time, the bidding only opens to ones attending the National Technology Summit."

　　Stanley looked at Hubert with a sharp gaze. Hubert shuddered.
