Chapter 15: School Open Day.

"Be careful." Ricky said. "I'm perfectly fine. You worry too much." After talking, she ran into an alley to puke. "Take it easy." he said stroking her hair softly. "You look cute when you puke." he said wiping her face with a wet wipe. "Now you're making fun of me." Rea said.

In an attempt to walk, she fell on the ground. "Princess or piggy?" he asked pulling her up. "Piggy!!!" she exclaimed climbing unto his back. He carried her effortlessly to her house while she dozed off on his back.

"Finally, I was worried sick. Thanks for bringing her back. She so irresponsible! If she can't even take care of herself, how will she take care of me?" Tia asked leading Ricky to her sister's bedroom.

"If you like, you can stay here for the night." Tia said watching how her heartless sister clung tightly to this guy. "Thanks." Ricky replied. Quietly, Tia left the room. "I hope you know what you're doing." she whispered as she shut the door.

Ricky managed to gently get her off his back. Carefully, he tucked her in bed. "Good night Blondie." He said. Something pulled his arm as he was about leaving. His eyes met with her gorgeous hazel eyes. "Where are you going?" Rea asked.

"I'm going back home." "Stay with me." she said almost interrupting him. They both stared at each other for a long while. "Sigh. If you say so." Ricky said. A bright smile appeared on Rea's face. "Good night dimwit." "Good night Blondie." He replied kissing her temple.

The two weeks later, at Queen Star

Every student lined up neatly at the assembly ground, waiting for the principal to make the announcement. There was a huge round of applause as Fiona mounted the stage. She said,

"Dear students of Queen Star High. I would like to inform you once again that the school's open day commences today. All your parents and guardians have been informed by the school management to be present today. Please note that any student who is reported for not participating in the open day will spend the rest of the term in detention. Also, the school finds that having the students dress anyhow is tainting the school's name. So from next week, all students and staffs are meant to be dressed in the new uniforms. Anyone defaulting will be expelled immediately. Please note that the A-M students wear blue and N-Z students wear red. All uniforms are available in the book shop. Thank you."

After the assembly, students began gossiping and complaining about the introduction of uniforms to the school. "What if we look like all those dorks at the other schools?" a student asked. "Like even the dumbest kid in our school is smarter than those idiots. Why must we now look like them?" another student asked.

"How was your time last night?" Gina asked. She sat lazily in the cafeteria and slowly ate some diced fruits. "Gina,... I don't want to marry Etienne anymore." Regina looked at her quietly for a while, then asked, "Why?" "Why?" she repeated the question asked to her. "Because I don't want to be chained down by my parents mistake. I can't pay the price anymore." Her voice was firm and determined.

"What changed your mind? Wait!,... did he... f*** you?" Regina asked with wide eyes. "What! No!" she replied. "Oh what a relief." Gina said slouching into her seat. "What are you thinking?" "I don't know. You're sister is into it so I assumed all these years I'd been away,... you also picked up an interest in it." "Kinky but makes sense I guess." Rea replied.

"Hola!!!! Are you gals also talking about the new uniforms? Let's go get ours." Abby shouted. "You don't have to shout, we're right in front of you." Gina said. The three girls went to the school book shop which was surprisingly empty. "A lot of students don't want the uniforms." Abby said.

"Hey Martha." Abby greeted the shop keeper. "My three favorite girls. Where's the last one?" Martha asked. "Waiting in line to collect our lunches. We'll take hers along." Rea said. "Okay, which one of you would like to try on the uniforms first?" "I would!" Abby yelled excitedly. "Right this way." Martha led her into the dressing room.

"Will you help me?" Rea asked. "If it concerns me,... yes." They both took their seats on the couch in the room. Few minutes later, Abigail stepped out of the dressing room. She was dressed in a sparkling white long sleeved shirt, a short pleated navy blue skirt decorated with white checkers lines and a navy blue blazer which had the school crest sewed at the top left. On her feet, she wore black customized wedged boots.

"This is f***ing cute!" Rea exclaimed. "We'll take four of these." Abby said. "It's two uniforms and one track suit." Martha said. "Let me model the track suit." Rea said following Martha into the dressing room. "Gina, how should I wear this ribbon? Should I tie it round my head or pack my hair into a ponytail?" "First option sounds better." Gina replied. She took a picture of Abby in the uniform.

Few minutes later, Rea exited the room. She wore a blue and white track suit with customized white sneakers. "This is super comfortable." Rea said. Regina also took a photo of the sport wear. After both girls changed back, they collected their uniforms and left. "3,... 2,... 1." Regina counted before a crowd of students rushed into the book shop. Both girls looked at Gina. "What?" she asked.

They made their way to their lockers and neatly placed their uniforms in their bags before leaving to the cafeteria. "I've been waiting for you. Your food's getting cold." Tia said. "Your uniforms are in your bag." Rea informed her. "Thanks. The pics that were posted are super cute. Everyone was busy worrying about how we'd look like dweebs who would have thought the uniforms were legit" Tia asked.

"Kids. I'm sorry I came late. Your cousins refused to take off their uniforms." Marian said. "Why would we? We look adorable!" Melisa and Manul said. "I'll go get your scores." Marian said before she left. The uniform for junior school was a short sleeved white shirt, a navy blue pinafore and black customized ankle boots for girls. There was also a customized ribbon tied in their hair.

"Ms Racheal said all female students are meant to wear their ribbons at all times, whether senior or junior." Melisa said. "Why are you saying this?" Tia asked. "If Gina decides to throw tantrums about wearing the ribbon, she'll know it's part of the rules." Regina "..." After the open day, they went to the bakery.

"Galettes are selling now so I have to be at the bakery. Abigail, you're in charge of the restaurant." Marian said wearing her apron. "I'm gonna be upstairs if you need me." Gina said before she left. "Rea please keep an eye on your friend." Abby ordered.
