"Are you alright, ma'am?" The woman, serving as Lily's secretary to manage her business affairs, felt a tinge of annoyance that her explanation had been disregarded.
After a moment of silence, Lily's secretary cleared her throat and tried again, her tone a touch more insistent this time. "Ma'am, it's important that we address the issue at hand. Your presence is required at the meeting l." She paused, waiting for Lily's response, hoping to regain her attention.
Lost in her thoughts, Lily remained oblivious, her mind lingering on her encounter with Arion—the man she had once relied on to rescue her from her cruel father, Xander.
"I've been explaining tomorrow's schedule to you. Do you recall that you now oversee the model agency and acting class? And... the talented girls at the school...." Lily's secretary tried once more, her voice carrying a hint of urgency as she attempted to draw Lily's attention back to the present.
