Chapter 60: Friends (Part 1)

Julia's POV

Julia blinked several times and sit on the bed. "Morning, babe." Cecilia greets her with a kiss on her cheek. Julia can smell coffee inside their bedroom.

"Morning too," Julia replied. Cecilia gave her coffee, and she furrowed her brow because she looks at her wife wearing a casual dress. "Where are you going?" She asked.

Cecilia sit next to her and hugged her arm. "I want to go to the reunion with some of my college friends, and female and femme only!" Cecilia gripping her white cane.

Julia smells her coffee and takes a sip. "Can I know with who you were going?" Julia put her coffee mug on the nightstand.

"I forgot to introduce you to my friend," Cecilia leaned her head on Julia's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Julia." She holding her hand.

Julia hugged their waist and took a deep breath. "it's okay. I'm understand," Julia hunched. Julia kissed her forehead and stroked her hair. "Take your time. Besides, you didn't know my friend either," Julia teased her.

"I know!" She claimed, "your friend only Camelia!" Julia chuckling by her answer.

"You wrong, Mrs. Salvatore," Julia filling her lungs with Cecilia's vanilla scent. "I have a friend, and she is the only my loyal friend. Do you want to meet her?" Cecilia cupped her wife cheek as if she can stared to her eyes.

"I know her. Let me guess it!" Cecilia touched her palm and rubbed it. "She's dead because of an overdose?" Julia hummed.

"Yeah, she died because she's an overdose," Julia said in grim.

Cecilia wiped her tears. "She's with us right now." Julia furrowed her brow.

"Sh-she's dead, Cecilia! I don't believe with ghost or spirits," Julia grabbed her coffee, but suddenly she shivers for unknown reason.

"She said this kiddo needs to teach some manner!" Julia was speechless. She widen her eyes and stared at her wife. "Kiddo, it's her nickname for you?" Julia did not answer and still widen her eyes.

She shook her head and blinked several times, "no, ghost and spirits don't exist!" She walks to the bathroom and leaving Cecilia alone.

Cecilia's POV

Cecilia walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Leave me alone!" Cecilia opened the bathroom door and strolled her way to the bathtub.

"Julia, I know you did not believe in ghost or sprits, but why your reaction like that?" She closed the closet lid and sit on the top of that. Cecilia waiting for her wife for her answer, but to no avail. Her phone was ringing.

Julia stand up and took a deep breath, then helped her wife to stand. "I will tell you something about that later," Julia lowering her tone and embracing her.

Cecilia replied her embrace and kissed her cheek. "I know you are sad, but please," Cecilia cupped her cheeks. "I'm your wife and your best friend." Julia smiled and kissed her lips.

"You forgot to give me some morning kiss." Cecilia slapped her shoulder. "What are you waiting for? Your friend was waiting!" Cecilia bites her lip.

"Are you sure?" Julia sits on the bed and sighed.

"You made me realize that if I act possess like the other days, you will divorce me, but…" Cecilia raised her eyebrow, "… I want to make sure of your safety by putting Matthew and Paulo as your bodyguard today. I'm a CEO after all," Julia looked at her wife for an approval.

"Okay, I accept," Julia cheered, "but I don't want to freakout my friend. She's a civilian." Julia humming.

"You can ask them, Queen Salvatore." Cecilia slapped her with the pillow. She stopped as she heard a barking sound from Max.

Julia's POV

Julia stands up and guiding her wife to the living room, "I will do your chores, and I will help the other at our coffee shop today, checking blog, do dishes, cooking, and take Max to the park." Julia put her wallet on her hand. "You are my wife right now. Don't over spending it," Julia said.

Cecilia furrowed her brow because Julia's attitude change in a nickel of a time. "O… kay?" Julia opened the door and saw a woman in front of them bring a box of donut.

"Hi, my name is Diandra Saraswati Harold. Called me Diandra," she handing her business card to Julia.

"I'm Julia Salvatore. She's Mrs. Salvatore," Julia said as she crossed her arms on her chest.

Cecilia giggle to her friend. "I'm sorry for my wife, Diandra," Diandra nods. "Babe, I'll go." Cecilia tries to reach her wife's cheek and Julia wave her farewell with a kiss on the lips.

"Take care," Julia said to Cecilia. Paulo and Matthew, who were standing in front of the door, furrowed their brows.

Diandra helping Cecilia to guide her to where she parks her car. Julia gives them a sign to follow her wife, and they followed them. Julia looking at the barking Max.

"Okay, we go to the park first," Julia grabbed the leash.

Cecilia's POV

"So, the rumor it's true?" Cecilia hummed. Diandra sighed and looked at the back.

"I'm marrying one and only Julia Salvatore," she replied.

Diandra drive her car to the event. "Wow, how lucky you are." Diandra took a glance at her. "I thought you were still with Chester. I haven't seen or hear about him recently. Where he was now? Did you still in touch with him?" Cecilia did not answer her question.

She wants to answer it, but she already promises to herself. She didn't want to talk about him if she feels uncomfortable. In other hand, Cecilia wants to answer her question because Diandra is only her loyal friend. "H-he already married to another woman," Diandra hummed.

"I'm sorry for bringing up again, Cecilia." She said. Cecilia hoping that Matthew and Paulo followed her because she feels uncomfortable inside a car with her.

"What do you want, Diandra?" She asked.

Diandra took a glance at her and did not answer Cecilia's questions. She turn her car to the left and stopped in front of a cafe.
