"Are you two dating, "Adele asked.
"Hell no, we are cousins,"Hudson yelled as he put his hand around Zoey's shoulder.
"Unfortunately,''Zoey scoffed trying to push Hudson away but was unsuccessful.
Zoey and Hudson came from a rich family, their parents were trustees of the college which made them more respectful and prominent in the campus. Not only they were attractive people but also had charming personalities, everyone admired and looked up to them in the campus.
Every morning as soon as they got down from their luxury cars, students used to gossip about their fashion choices .It's like if these two wore something then it's approved by the Paris fashion week. But the truth was not as glamorous as seen by others, everyone had their own fair share of issues and Zoey and Hudson had theirs too.
Their parents put too much pressure on them and monitored their every move .They had no freedom to choose their career as their parents have only decided that for them upon their birth.
They needed to excel at everything as they have to keep up their family's name and take it to next level. Most of them wanted to get close to them with a hidden motive so they were wary of making friends.
On the surface it may look like they trusted everyone but truth was far from it .They took lot of time to analyze and only shared bare minimum with others.
"I need to go,"Adele said as she glanced at her watch.
"Even I need to leave now, I can drop you on the way,"Hudson offered.
"Nope, I don't want to bother you,"Adele rejected him, she enjoyed their company today but she did not want to feel indebted to him.
Zoey did not think much of it as Hudson never left a chance to flirt with a beautiful girl.
"Oh how I wish you could bother me,"Hudson murmured as he ran his hand through his messy hair.
Adele wanted to purchase some stationary so she went to the nearest supermarket.
The place was not much crowned as it was a weekday, she felt someone's gaze on her back. She swiftly turned around but found a saleswoman asking her if she needs any help.
Adele shook her head, her hands were shaking as she kept the items back on the self. She calmed down thinking she was being paranoid and went to next floor to pick some more items.
"Ma'am you can try X brand, there is also 20% discount going on now, "the salesman suggested.
"Is the paper quality good, will the maker bleed through them, "Adele asked.
"It's the best in the market, here you can try it, "the salesman handed her a marker.
Adele scribbled something on the spare paper and true to the word the paper quality was top notch. She suddenly lifted her head and spotted a man quickly turning away and running down the stairs.
Was this person following her and now she had found him he was trying to hide or he was just a random stranger who finished his shopping and was in a hurry to go back home.
She was confused and felt somewhat uneasy and quickly put the required things in the basket and went to the counter to check out. The walk to the bus stop was a bit far and the street lights were not on for some unknown reason so she took out her cellphone and turned on the torch.
A bike passed aside her with a very high speed and Adele moved to the sideways as the bike was about to hit her if she was not careful. Few seconds later the bike took a U turn and slowed down a bit as it passed next to her.
He tried to snatch her handbag but luckily Adele was on alert mode and held the bag tightly. The man's strength exceeded hers and she was about to lose it as her shoulder started to slightly pain.
Surprisingly like a god sent help a stranger freed her and she lost the balance and fell on the ground. The bike rode off from there as he got scarred thinking he may get caught seeing someone come to her rescue and he did not want to risk it.
The stranger's back was facing towards Adele so she could not see his face .She slowly got up and dusted her hands, she was waiting for him to turn around so that she could convey her gratitude.
But that stranger started walking away without giving her a second glance, she called him but he ignored her.
"Hello, wait a second,"Adele fastened her footsteps but still could not catch up with him.
"I just want to thank you,"Adele yelled and he waved his hand in acknowledgement.
The stranger took a turn at the alley and Adele followed him there too but shockingly he had disappeared.
Adele stood there looking everywhere but he was nowhere to be found.
"Where can he go,"Adele murmured.
This stranger helped her but had a problem showing his face, it's surely wired. Adele was tired and confused following today's event and just wanted to hit the bed.
Well to be honest nowadays a lot of unexplainable things happened and she could not get answers.
She decided to forget everything for the time being as thinking about it not only messed her head but also no one could believe her as she was the only one to witness these events.
It was a weekend and Adele was lying on the bed and flipping a magazine which she had picked it from Myra's collection.
Her phone beeped and as she saw the ID her heart beat increased .It was none other than Dante telling her to get ready at 5 and meet her at X street. Adele replied to his message and went to get ready as there was only an hour left.
"Are you going somewhere,"Myra asked as she entered the room holding a cup of coffee.
