Chapter 7

Gina POV:(ch7)

A/N: I say おじょさま in this chapter, it's used when someone is older and cherishes your friendship. I just use "young lady" in the translation cause it's easier but just know it's something a little deeper, okay!

>I-I like you too

I stare at the message for a bit before I start to choke on my ramen. Where did that come from? I thought to myself. I open my phone and still see I haven't replied to Junghee. Ohhhhhhhhh titti sprinkles, I think as I type my reply. I start to type:

haha....actually that<

was supposed to be for

someone else but

it worked out I guess

That's not a good idea Gina.... I bite my lower lip and stare at my screen, desperate to think of a better reply. But what do I say to that? How exactly do I reply to this??

|Manager-Junghee|

>fine act that way

> sleep well!

I roll my eyes and turn my attention to this needy manager of mine.

|Manager-Junghee|

You're so <

annoying lmbo.

Goodnighttttt

After tending to my needy manager, I decide it's time to just BE BOLD with Yuto. He doesn't have to make a move...I can do it by myself! YEAH! I aggressively tap on his ID for a video call. The phone rings for a bit before he picks up.

"Gina-ah, hi~" he says and gives me a big smile. showing his white teeth and his eye smile.

"Heya!" I say, returning the grin.

"You called—"

"Just to tell you that I like you in semi-person," I smile, laying down on my couch and holding the phone above my head.

He blushes in shock and laughs, covering his mouth with his hand. "Didn't know you were such a romantic Gina-ah," he teases.

"I can be," I shrug and play along with him.

"You want to come over tomorrow?" Yuto asks me, running hands through his soft hair.

ohhh my gawd dis man, I space out for a bit just staring at his heavenly face on my screen.

"Gina? 괜찮아? (you okay?)"

His voice is so deep and husky jeeezzz

"Hello??"

What an adorable man, how is he almost mine?

"Gina OPEN UR EARS!!"

OH?!

"SORRY SORRY I WAS JUST—" I blurt

Yuto rolls his eyes and looks at me. "It's fine just pay more attention," he grumbled looking upset.

"I'll talk to you later, I have some stuff to do today okay?" Yuto says flatly, blankly staring at the screen.

"Uh—yeah! I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Bye."

"Goodnight~" I say and wave to him, he ends the call with a half-hearted smile and my heart drops.

"What was that about? Did I say something wrong or? Was I supposed to NOT let him go?" I mutter to myself, now pacing in circles around the island bar in my kitchen.

"Maybe he just ACTUALLY has stuff and I'm overthinking it...that's probably it...BUT WHY DID I SAY I'D SEE HIM TOMORROW WE HAVE TO PICK THE OUTFITS FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT," I yell and ruffle with my hair. I put my head down and walk towards my bedroom, stumbling into all the walls before finally making it onto my bed.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

"What noooowww," I say, slapping my face and reluctantly getting up from my bed to answer the door.

*KNOCKITY KNOCK KNOCK*

"Coming!" I yell as I jog to the door. My arms swing the door open so hard, my body goes with it.

"Mrs. Ito! こんにちは! (Hello!)," I yelp, bowing immediately. I let her inside and she sits on the couch as I turn on the tea kettle.

"Are you alright child?" she says calmly, looking at me with concern. I turn my head to the side and look back at her on the couch.

"Of course Mrs. Ito... why? Should I be upset?" I ask her.

"No noo I just heard some banging come from the apartment when I was walking by... I stopped by to check on you," Mrs. Ito beams at me, smiling. I laugh at her and make my way to the spot next to her on the couch.

"Mrs. Ito?"

"Yes child?"

"You know Yuto pretty well right?"

"はい! (yes!)"

I spill to Mrs. Ito what happened when I called Yuto today, telling her at first he was really sweet and later we ended up hanging up on a bad note. She listens to me thoroughly, nodding and giving me slight Mmh's throughout the conversation. At the end I sigh in relief and roll my head on the back of the couch.

"What do you think is wrong Mrs. Ito?" I ask, rolling my head to its side so I can look at her.

She takes my hands in hers and pats them, "how'd he get your number?" She says softly.

"Through the tall one he lives with...Taesuk?"

"He might think you two have something going on."

"Huh but—"

"And if I were him," she cuts me off and deeply gazed into my eyes, "I'd think you were spacing out about Taesuk," she says, pulling her hands away and smirking at me.

"WHAT?! Mrs. Ito I would nev—" I start to protest, but I'm then interrupted by the squeal of the tea kettle. I get up, annoyed, and make Mrs. Ito and I some green tea. I sit down in the same spot and hand her a cup. We sit in silence for a bit before she puts her cup on the coaster and turns to me.

"I know you had no intention of showing any interest towards Taesuk...but it

might seem that way to him. I'd tell him in person that you don't feel that way about Taesuk... saying it over text is too impersonal. Okay おじょさま? (young lady?)"

I choke on my tea and nod my head rapidly to show I understand. She stands up and waves at me, "I'm leaving okay? I'll talk to you later, child!" Mrs. Ito cackled laughing at my awkwardness.

"Bye~~" I sing, and watch her shut the door.

~~Time Skip~~

I dance around my apartment with a broom in my hand, dancing and sweeping up stuff on the floor while shouting the lyrics.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"CALL ME WHEN YOU WANT —," I sing out loud doing the dance moves terribly to the song.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

I don't hear the knocking on the door and continue to dance with my broom and slide around in my socks, not caring about the world.

My phone abruptly stops, "What are you doing?!)" I shout at my phone that's connected to the speaker when it starts to ring. I pick it up and put the phone to my ear.

"ばか! (Idiot) OPEN THE DOOR," startled by the noise, I immediately pull the phone back from my ears and dash to the door.

"Taesuk... why are you heerreee," I whine, slumping my shoulders over.

"CAUSE YOUR MUSIC IS SO DAMN LOUD!!"

"DONT YELL AT ME!"

"THEN SHUT THE MUSIC UP."

"WHY CANT YOU JUST BE NICE LIKE YOU WERE WHEN YOU GAVE ME YOUR NUMBER," I shout, and feeling my hands curl into fists. I close my eyes expecting him to say something mean back, but I hear nothing but silence. There's this weird feeling that washes over me as I peak my eyes open to look up at him. He opens his mouth to say something then closes it.

"Annnyyywaaayy," Taesuk drags the word out putting his hands in his pockets. He bends over to get eye level with me and I take a step back. He puts his face only about 5 inches from mine and turns his head to the side confused. I look at him shocked and unable to do anything, especially moving. Taesuk turns his head to the side and laughs at my expression, then puts a giant hand on my head.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow for the shoot okay? Be ready at about 7am," he smiles in my face so happily I can practically see him dazzling and sparkling. "AND DON'T YOU DARE BE LATE!" He orders as he pulls back and rocks on his heels.

"I-I guess yeah okay!" I hesitate to agree with him. But since we live by each other and are going to the same place... it should be fine, right? He smiles at me and walks away waving. I watch him start walking down the hallway before he comes to a sudden halt and turns around.

"Do me a favor... don't tell Yuto," Taesuk says sternly.

"Why?"

"He's—he's been in a mood lately," he hesitates and I can tell he's not telling me the full story. But I nod and tell him to go on, and he skips along down the stairs to his apartment.

What's wrong with these boys?!
