Jo felt shivers creeping up her spine... he never called her by her real name... he will wait? what did he mean by saying this... Jo looked at him with a conflicted expression, her heart was suddenly hurting for an unknown reason. The man smiled in return, he caught a strand of her hair between his fingers and tucked it behind her ear.
"Where to next?" He asked Jo, in a soft low tone.
The couple continued their journey on the cold, yet sparkling streets of Paris. They stopped for diner at a local restaurant, that Jo knew it had good reviews and then they went to see the light exhibition, Atelier Des Lumières.
It was very late already and Jo couldn't drag this day any longer, besides her feet were killing her, she had walked too much today.
"Did you enjoy?" Asked Lu Ye Ze.
"Yes! A lot!" Replied Jo with a wide smile on her face.
Lu Ye Ze then bent down in front of her. Jo looked at the man suspiciously, what was this cunning fox up to now...
"What are you doing??"
"Get up! Your feet are hurting!"
"Oh!... " Jo didn't think twice, she was going to take advantage of this devil, so she climbed on his back and the tall strong man, gave her a piggy ride home.
Back at the apartment, they were both exhausted, they showered in turns and got ready for bed.
"Let me help you dry your hair!" Said Lu Ye Ze. Jo was looking at him doubtfully, what was this, how can he do it? That isn't a man's job. Although she was thinking this, she didn't refuted out loud though and she let him have a try.
"Okay!"
While the devil was peacefully drying her hair, Jo was mortified on the inside. What will be their sleeping arrangement latter on. The apartment had only one bedroom and the sofas in the living room, were two seaters and hard on top of that, more like benches rather then comfy puffy sofas. Jo was thinking, actually Asians prefer hard surfaces for sleeping, so he won't be uncomfortable, the other issue was that he wouldn't fit. He was really tall for an Asian.
Jo was so immersed in her thoughts that fine droplets of perspiration appeared on her forehead.
"Is the air too hot?" Jo was startled by the man's question.
"What?"
"Is the air from the drier too hot? You are sweating!"
"Oh!..." Jo was speechless. Lu Ye Ze turned off the drier and placed it back in the nightstand drawer.
"I am done anyway... You can sleep now!" Continued the man.
"Mn... where are you going to sleep?" Jo suddenly asked with worry in her tone.
"Where would you like me to?" What!!! Jo was dumbfounded yet again. What was this question, it had put her into a tight spot. She didn't want to share the bed with him, but she couldn't ask him to sleep on the sofa, as it would be rude from her. There was obviously only one answer to this question and this cunning sly fox had place such a beautiful trap before her... she fell right in.
"Hehe... of course you can sleep on the bed" Jo had no choice, but to surrender her arms to the man, he had won beautifully. "We live in a modern world after all, such things are meaningless" Replied Jo with a grimace on her face, how dares he to play her like this.
"Are we?!" Replied the man with a rhetoric question. Instant knock down, Jo was truly defeated now, there was no chance for a comeback.
