Shiba suddenly stopped when he wasn't far from the target planet.

He had a bad feeling and decided that it was better to run away. He didn't dare to distrust his intuition.

However, as soon as he tried to leave, a powerful attack killed him.

The one who killed Shiba was a World God belonging to the faction that lived on that planet. Aknarel was really there, but the Origin Gods couldn't go away from the planet, so they sent World Gods to patrol nearby.

They were there to deal with those that weren't Ravier. If Ravier appeared, they needed to lure him inside the planet, or it wouldn0t be useful enough.

Of course, Shiba wasn't really dead. He didn't hesitate to use Absolute Protection, so he would reappear soon, uninjured. Still, he was powerless in front of a World God. The difference in strength was just too big.
