21. Chapter 59: The Ballad of Eda Act II(2)

Boscha watched the interview in shock, dropping her drink.

"Be prepared, Hexside," Emily said with a grin. "Because this week's going to be hell for you…"

After the interview, the Owl House residents were in silent shock. Camila was the first to speak "Um… is it like, a playful war like spirit week or something?"

"No…" Lilith said with a grim look. "This is all-out war."

That night Eda returned to her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She went over to her chest and opened it, digging something out. It was a black jacket with a bunch of patches on it, including a robot symbol and a witches's hat patch. She even saw the initials on it.

'To my radical friend, Eda. -Angel.'

Eda hugged the jacket tightly, tears streaming from her eyes as she went over to her nest. She cried harder, holding and hugging the jacket closely to her chest as she laid in her nest.

"So, got everything?" Eda asked Angel when they met up at the old house.

"Sure, my toothbrush, some clothes, and other supplies," Angel said while holding up her backpack. "Time to explore the new world."

Eda nodded as she held up her key. "Alright, to the Boiling Isles we go."

She activated the portal, opening it up before them. Angel stared at in awe, then nodded at Eda as they both walked through together…
