Selection Tournament(Part-05)

"It was really a good battle. I can feel both of yours spirits. Rose and Eevee played well. But congratulation Ryan. You will officially get qualified for the final." Selene-sama spoke.

"Okay, onward to our next match. Please Scarlet and Oliver. Get back to your positions." Bertha-san said.

We get to the position. I am really hyped right now. If I win this match, I will finally be able to secure my position inside the organization. I have to win this match.

"The rules will be same as it was previous match. Please bring you pokemon out the moment I finish counting.... 3...2...1...go." Bertha-san announced.

"Go, Shinx." I brought out my Shinx.

"Vulpix, go." Scarlet brought her Vulpix out.

As I looked across the battlefield, I could see the fierce determination in my Shinx's eyes. His sleek, electric blue fur crackled with energy as he prepared to face off against Scarlet's Vulpix, a fiery little creature with a fierce expression and a fierce determination of her own.

I knew this battle would be intense. Shinx and Vulpix were both powerful Pokémon, evenly matched in terms of level and ability. But I had faith in my partner. I knew that together, we could come out on top.

As the battle began, Vulpix launched herself forward with a quick attack, her lithe body moving like a blur as she closed in on Shinx. But my partner was ready for her. With a quick dodge to the side, he managed to avoid the worst of the attack, and responded with a powerful tackle that sent Vulpix tumbling backwards.

But Vulpix was not one to give up easily. Rising to her feet, she launched a barrage of embers at Shinx, the flames crackling and spitting as they raced towards him. Shinx responded with a thunder shock, a powerful burst of electricity that lit up the battlefield and sent the embers scattering harmlessly to the ground.

The two Pokémon circled each other warily, each waiting for the other to make the first move. But it was Shinx who struck next, launching himself forward with a charge that caught Vulpix off guard. The force of the attack sent her reeling, but she managed to regain her balance quickly, launching herself forward with a tail whip that caught Shinx across the face.

Despite the blow, Shinx remained undeterred. With a fierce growl, he launched himself forward once more, his powerful jaws clamping down on Vulpix's tail and sending her sprawling to the ground. But Vulpix was not one to give up easily. With a quick disable, she managed to halt Shinx's charge in its tracks, leaving him temporarily stunned and disoriented.

For a moment, it seemed as though Vulpix might have the upper hand. But I had faith in my partner. With a fierce roar, Shinx shook off the effects of the disable, and launched himself forward once more with a powerful thunder shock that sent Vulpix reeling.

As she struggled to regain her balance, Shinx launched a final, devastating tackle that sent Vulpix flying backwards, her small body slamming into the ground with a resounding thud. For a moment, there was silence, as the two Pokémon lay still, each struggling to catch their breath.

But it was Shinx who rose to his feet first, a fierce determination in his eyes as he prepared to face whatever came next. And when Vulpix rose to her feet a moment later, her own eyes filled with a mixture of respect and admiration for her opponent, I knew that this battle had truly been a test of strength and willpower like no other.

As we made our way off the battlefield, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of pride in my partner. Shinx had proven himself to be a truly formidable opponent, one capable of taking on even the toughest of challenges and emerging victorious.

Selene-sama stood up and started clapping. She had a faint smile in her face. She spoke, "It was truly a magnificent battle. Both of your Pokemon battled well. Was surprise to see how well you guys battled. Both of them refused to lose. Truly magnificent. Congratulation Oliver, you have won the match. Good luck for the final. Heal your Pokemon up and get ready for the final match."

"Yes, Selene-sama." I bowed. After that, I went to Daisy-san. She healed my Shinx.

[Shinx has level up by one.]

I heard Noa's voice.

I see. Nothing really changed its just he went one level up. I would really like him to get one level further. I know that Ryan's Houndor is at level 10. I have to work really hard in the next match.

After getting a bit break, we get back to the battlefield. My opponent this time is Ryan. I have to win this match and prove myself in front of Selene-sama. She seems to have a good opinion of me and she is the most beautiful person I have seen. I have already determined that I will lose my virginity to her.

I can see that Ryan was determined too.

"Now that two of you get back to your position, now prepare for the final battle." Bertha-san said.

"Excuse me." Ryan raised his hand.

"What is it?" Bertha-san asked.

I was kinda confused too.

"Before the match starts, I will confess one thing in front if everyone." He said.

"What is it?" Selene-sama asked.

"If I win this match, I want something from Selene-sama." Ryan said to Selene-sama.

"What is it?" She asked in confusion.

"If I win this match, I want Selene-sama to become my wife." He said with determination.

"What?" Everyone said in surprised.

What's going on? He wants to stole her from me? He had his eyes on him? But I won't let this happen.

"I object." I raised my hand.

"What do you want, Oliver? Why do you have to get between us again and again?" He seems to be pissed off.

"I don't know the situation. But the moment I saw her, I fell for her. I might be acting a bit rude, but I won't let someone else to have her. Selene-sama, it might be all of a sudden but I like you. If I win this match, I want you to become my wife." I said loudly.

She is beautiful. So beautiful that no matter what I won't let someone else to steal her. She will be mine and mine alone. I was always been a coward person. But upon seeing her, I realized what's my goal is. My current goal is to make her mine and I will make sure this happens. I am sure of it.
