"Stop thinking about it, Xiao Yan. The fight is already over, you were just unlucky to have such an opponent." Mu Yue said as she pats Xiao Yan's back while hugging her.

"Hu hu hu... This is not enough, Mu Yue. Console me more, he even made my arm bleed." Xiao Yan recounted. She then pointed at the wound, making sure that Mu Yue saw it.

Mu Yue giggled and kissed the wound before saying, "Alright, let's go to the sides and sit so I can take care of your wound less it leaves a scar."

The other juniors saw this and ignored them. They have been fed dog food for a lot of times that they already got used to it.

The same couldn't be said to the seniors. Hui Yin widened her eyes as she saw this public show of affection.

"This is just someone taking care of a friend isn't it?" She mumbled to assure herself. They were too young to be like this anyway. The only reason she thought of it was because of what she and Mu Yue talked about earlier.

"It must be. This must be what they called being close friends." Jian Yun chimed in. He didn't saw the kiss as he only looked when he heard Hui Yin talking.

The battles continued as the next combatants went to the platform. Their fights were much slower and more on the side of sparring to learn.

"Did you learn anything about your fight, Xiao Yan?" Mu Yue asked as she cleans Xiao Yan's wound. She also fed a healing pill as she doesn't want the wound leaving a scar on Xiao Yan's fair skin.

"I learned that attacking a man's groin gives an opening for a retreat or an attack!" Xiao Yan yelled which were heard by the nearby boys. They quickly made sure to remember to be careful when they spar against her.

"Pfft-" Mu Yue laughed at this which made her accidentally press on Xiao Yan's wound.

"Ahhh! Mu Yue that hurts!!!" Xiao Yan yelped in pain.

Mu Yue quickly took her hands away from the wound. "S-sorry Xiao Yan."

The 1v1 battles continued until the end of the day. Mu Yue fought thrice and she learned from all of them. Xiao Yan was also happy to finally have a good fight.

The principal told them to go back to their rooms to rest. The group battle will happen tomorrow. They will also stay for the day after before going to the tournament site.

Mu Yue till now hasn't let Xiao Yan bath together with her. Xiao Yan was completely fine with this as she thought, 'One more goal to achieve in the future!'

Just before they sleep, Liu Yang invited them for a meeting at one of the empty rooms. They agreed and when they arrived, they also saw the others waiting.

"We are gathered here to talk about who will fight for the group battles. It isn't important but we couldn't let our seniors see a shameful performance." Liu Yang mentioned.

"Well, choosing members of the group is really simple. We could just have the strongest students from the special class group up." Jun Qing suggested.

"That will work indeed if we are looking for the strongest line-up as well as best teamwork. However, individual strength is not what we needed and teamwork has less importance. What we wanted is a good line-up for a good plan." Xiao Yan said.

"Then what plan are we going to use? Xiao Yan must be in the group as we need her firepower to damage the seniors." One of the students said.

Xiao Yan bluntly said, "My spells are indeed effective on dealing damage to the seniors. However, they will surely target me so what I needed are shields who are willing to buy time for me."

"A shield haha, it certainly will be me." Laughs Fei Hong as he has the highest defensive capability of the group.

"We would need one more so we will also take Zheng Peng who is also a Body Cultivator. The rest would be Li Jie and Mu Yue as they could keep up with the seniors." Xiao Yan added.

The others agreed to this. As the proclaimed leader of the group, Xiao Yan explained her plan. "I and Mu Yue will stay at the back to bombard them with spells. Fei Hong and Zheng Peng will stay close to defend us from the attacks. Li Jie will intercept whoever got passed our defenses."

"The defenses wouldn't be enough." Liu Yang interjected.

"Mu Yue will also switch to melee if needed. There is also something special that we could use to increase our defenses."
