Punishment

I watch closely as the man shackled to the wall begins to come too, "well Alex I'd like to say i'm surprised but honestly i'm not" I say putting on my black gloves. "So we can either do this the easy way or the hard way" I say roughly lifting his chin towards me "I know it's a cliche movie line but still it works in this moment, so what's it gonna be?". I pull my hand away from his chin his head drops down like a woven doll whose neck is only connected by a few slender strings. He mutters something under his breath still staring down at the floor, "sorry I didn't catch that" I say coldly my patience starting to wear thin even though we haven't even started yet. "I said" he starts to say slowly raising his head a manic look in his eyes "you are going to need to watch your back more closely from now on" he starts laughing loudly and white foam starts to bubble around the corners of his mouth. His eyes start to glaze over "he's coming for you..you're not gonna win this one Lucif-" his head lolls to the side, Azael walks over to him and checks his pulse "he's definitely dead" he says starting to chuckle. "Well at least that means the rest of the day off" he continues starting to walk out of the room, Yukio stops him in his tracks "no your coming back with us, I need you to help me protect the boss for the next few nights". Az stifles a sigh and nods "I'll bring Ryu too then" he says turning to walk away, "meet you back at the apartment" Yuki yells at him putting his arm around my shoulder. Then he slowly starts dragging me from my position of blankly staring at the dead body strapped to the chair, into the hallway and out to the car. "How are you doing" Yuki whispers in my ear, I look up a him "never better Yuki" I say with a smile on my face hiding my discomfort from him.
