Scarlett's professional principle is to avoid unnecessary private interactions with clients. So, even when Elijah mentioned Lucius and Jack, she politely declined, "No, I have something else to do later..."
Just as she was about to explain, Elijah' phone rang. He answered and said, "I was just about to call you. I've met Ronnie and Scarlett. Scarlett said she won't come..."
A second later, Elijah handed the phone to Scarlett, "It's Lucius."
Scarlett quickly took the phone, "Hello, Mr. Zhou."
Lucius's voice came from the phone, "Let's have dinner together. Elijah has something to tell you."
Then, Jack's voice came, "I also have something to tell you."
Scarlett was left with no choice but to agree, amused and helpless.
Lucius hung up directly. Scarlett returned the phone to Elijah, who said, "Scarlett, don't be polite with me. We're all family now."
Scarlett smiled and said, "You're too kind."
Elijah said, "Meeting is fate."
