No matter how many times Rion looked at the door, waiting for Odette to knock and open it, the woman he had been waiting for since morning until now,did not come back.
He rolled up the parchment he had been reading, then looked out the window. It was late, but the woman still hadn't come back from the health center? Or did the woman actually come back, but didn't want to meet him because she was still angry?
Rion didn't understand what was going on with him, or rather, he refused to understand. He kept asking himself why he was so worried about Odette. His heart already had the answer to the question, but he denied it.
After a few seconds of silence, he tidied up his desk quickly and then walked out to Odette's room to check if she had returned or not.
The door opened and the uninhabited room was visible. Odette was nowhere to be found in her room. Rion decided to see Doctor Alex, while he ignored the whispering maids when they saw him.
