Catherine's Point of View

"It was successful," I informed Emerald, who was comfortably sprawled on my bed and grinning while using her folded hands as a makeshift pillow. She had just arrived and intended to ask about yesterday's events.

"I finally managed to distance Primo from the people bothering him," she said, sitting up to face me.

"How's Adela?" Emerald asked with a smile.

"I sent the photo to her mother yesterday. Her mom is probably furious with her now."

Only now did I learn about Adela's mother. Damn it, I even envied her, not realizing she's wealthy too. Fortunately, Emerald was here to provide me with that information.

I was initially hesitant when Emerald asked me to help with this, but I decided to forget my feelings for Primo and leave him in Emerald's hands. She's had feelings for Primo for a long time.
