06 || Making up?

Alliyah's POV

On the way to school habang binabasa ko lang yung ilang formula sa Science recitation namin. At masyado din naging busy last week, till now dahil may SSG Election na sa friday.

I know what you guys are thinking... 'Kamusta naman kayo ni Justine?'

Well... at first it gets a little awkward but we need to keep going and forget about that conversation. We're too busy to think about it again.

"Ms. Lee, we are here"

"Oh, thank you kuya. Sorry I dozed out..." sabi ko dito at napakamot ang ulo.

"No worries Miss... Just don't push yourself too hard, try to relax for some time" Ngiti nitong sabi, at medyo nagpagaan din nang pakiramdam ko.

I thanked him before going out of the car. Pagbabago ko, nakita ko yung service ni Bella papaalis.

I got inside of the gate, and to my surprise... Hinihintay nila akong pumasok. Pati na din si Justine...?

As far as I know, mamaya pa ang duty namin. Baka mayroon meeting?

"Halos sabay lang pala tayong dumating ah, HAHAHA" Sabi ni Bella habang papalapit ako sa kanila. I let out a chuckle and all of us look at Justine.

"Oh, Hi Justine! As far as I know... mamaya pa yung 'duty' nyo. May meeting ba kayo?" Anndrea asked him a little sarcastically. Pero sinukuhan ito ni Irish. She winced in pain.

"Sorry for my friend's word of tone, sadyang ma-ano din kasi tong babae to eh"

Justine let out a genuine smile that will LITERALLY make a girl fall in love (except for me). "It's fine... sanay na ako kay Anndrea." He explained as he looked at Anndrea, but she just rolled her eyes on him and stick out her tongue.

I let out a chuckle at her action.

"Ano dito lang tayo? We have to go now... We still have a recitation in science" sabi ko sa kanila. At yung mga tingin nila sa akin ay tila ba'ng nakakita sila nang multo.

"M-may r-recitation sa science?" sabay-sabay nilang tanong.

Then suddenly, Angel face-palm herself. At napatingin kami sa kanya. "Awit... Oo nga pala, may sinabi si Teacher Eunice"

"Aaahhh... ang bobo" dugtong ni Angelica.

And... they all look at me. Then I notice how Maricar smirk secretly.

'NOPE... NOT THIS TIME!'

I look at Justine's reaction and yeap. He knows what is about to happened. I sigh and left them behind by running.

"Paturooo!!!" Sigaw nila sabay-sabay.

Lunch Time

I finally gave in to their request na turuan sila. Pero good thing, tinulungan ako nila Justine, Francine, at Jerome. Kaya thank goodness, nakapasa kaming lahat.

As we're eating peacefully. Someone's voice has been heard behind my back, I look behind to se who it was... And its Joshua. "Umm... Can I seat with you?" he ask.

I nodded and smile geniunely. I moved my lunch bag and put it down.

While taking our lunch. Napansin ko na kanina pa nakatingin si Justine sa aming dalawa ni Joshua. I tried to slip it away from my thoughts pero... his stares are uncomfortable.

'Is there something wrong?'

Pagkatanong na pagkatanong ko nun sa sarili ko. I saw Justine standing up from his seat. I immediately sit straight and avoid his stares.

"Oh, Justine napa--" Maricar stop her sentence and just nodded to herself. I look at her confused. And she look back at me and smirk.

'Umm... What's happening???'

Then suddenly... I felt Justine's presence beside me. Sinubukan ko syang di pansinin but geez... His stares are really intense.

I deeply sighed first before meeting his gaze. I look at his eyes, and...

*dug* *dug* *dug* *dug*

W-what--

"Is there something wrong Ms. Lee?" He asked with those genuine smiles he always wear. But I know its just fake. A fake smile that can hide any hidden motives.

"Nothing, Mr. Perez. It's just that you're staring at me, like your trying to read my mind." I said jokingly to him.

"What if I am?"

I stopped. And all of my friends also. And look at him confused. Tas biglang may nag---

"AYIEIEIEIE... SHIP! SHIP! SHIP!" Pabirong sabi nila Marc at Jake.

'Da fuq? Ano kami? Barko?!'

I don't know why, pero ang init nang katawan ko. And I think my cheeks are getting red. Kaya tinago ko toh sa kanya by covering my face with my palms.

'Damn it. Don't fall for him again... Nasaktan ka na...'

As I keep repeating those words in my head. I felt suddenly dizzy... shit! shit! shit! I totally forgot to drink my meds earlier. Fudge!

I have to go to the clinic immediately.. But how?

'I really have to go... But--- You know what, sorry for the rudeness pero kailangan ko na talagang umalis.'

I immediately stood up in my seat and rush up to the clinic. Good thing the nurse is still there and assist me.

'Argh... I hope they didn't misunderstand it.'

Justine's POV

Nagulat ako nang bigla nalang syang tumayo at kumaripas nang takbo.

'D-did I messed up even more?' I ask myself.

Then the anger and hatred grew more---

"I think she forgot to drink her meds this morning... Kanina ko pa kasi sya napapansin na medyo matamlay at walang gana or should I say na wala sa mood." Explain ni Bella.

"K-kailan pa sya nagkaroon nang meds?" Tanong ko dito.

"Wala syang sinabi kung kailan, pero ang sabi nya lang sa amin is... She has to drink those meds kundi may mangyayaring masama sa kanya." Dugtong ni Irish.

'W... what?!'

The school already finished and hindi ko parin sya nakita after that lunch time. I can't stop worrying about her.

I know... I know...

Alam ko na nag-away kami. Pero... we've still been friends after those years. I just want to know the truth.

Dahil, I thought na iniwan nya ako. Tas nabalitaan ko nalang na nasa Canada sya...

I sigh deeply with my heart.

'Mahirap pala noh... Kapag naging super close ka na din sa babae mong kaibigan. Kahit sabihin natin na may crush ka. Yung crush mo na yun, di kayang pantayin yun pagtingin mo sa kaibigan mo.'

Then suddenly my phone rang. I looked at my phone to see who was calling... It's father.

I answered it.

"Go to our office immediately"

"Yes, father"

And then he hunged up.

Why do I need to go to the office---

Oh... yeah.... right...

I forgot about the proposal I made few days ago. I hope that the Principal, and my Father will agreed to it.
