Chapter 19

My parents had come with my older brother to see me at home. I left my bed to my parents, my brother the bed in my dressing room and I bought a small inflatable mattress.

"I thought I would never come to see you" said my brother as he drove home from the airport.

"I didn't think you were going back to Spain either," I said.

My brother, Lucas, was a doctor in Dallas in the United States. He had studied there and stayed working for a while, but a few months ago he decided to return to Madrid to be closer to his family.

"And your girlfriend?" I asked for. My parents were on the phone to continue doing business.

"We left it before I returned to Spain, the truth is that we had not been well for a while and I think it was the best decision I had" said my brother very convinced.

"Well, it's the best thing you've done, yes" I said.

"And you what about?" my brother asked.

"Very well, I love my life here I am much more relaxed and I like it much better and here in this house I am much better." I said while driving.

The truth is that I was much better being in that house because it was my own way and some nights, after dinner, I would go to the garden for a while with Lando and his friends to talk about anything silly, the truth is that I love spending time with them because I laugh a lot and I'm very comfortable and a lot of that is thanks to Lando who tried to make me belong to their group.

We got home and I saw that Lando was outside his house with his suitcases, he was going to Germany. I parked the car outside the garage.

"Park it inside and come in now, I'm coming" I said to my brother and got out of the car to go to where Lando was.

"I thought you weren't coming to say goodbye" Lando said when he saw me appear and a smile appeared to both of us.

"That's impossible, I had to come to say goodbye. I came as quickly as possible" I said.

"I would have told you we said goodbye at the airport" Lando said as I approached.

"No, my parents and my brother were there and they wouldn't have stopped asking questions - I said.

"Do you have a brother? Why didn't you tell me?" he asked after my answer.

"There are many things about me that you do not know" I said very close to him.

"Well thank goodness I can spend as long as I want talking to you" he said and opened his arms for me to give him a hug.

"Well yes, thank goodness" I said.

"In the end I'm going to miss you and everything and I thought not" Lando said as he continued to hug me.

"I told you that you were going to love me" I said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I have to go" he said but he hugged me tighter.

"Bring me a present please" I said but jokingly.

"Okay" Lan said.

"It was a joke" I said and looked at him.

"Well, I can bring you the gift anyway" he said and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"Lan, we're late" said one of his friends.

"I'm going" said Lan.

"Come on, I'm not going to make you miss the plane" I said.

"Well, the excuse is perfect" Lando said and we parted ways and I turned a little red.

"Please say hello to the boys, tell them to see if I see it and to see if we can do something" I said.

"Okay, I told you." Eijo taking the suitcases. "Last hug?"

"Yes" I said and pressed it.
