Chapter 18

It had been several days that he only went from work to home and from home to work because the owners had gone to London for a few days to see their grandchildren and when he got home he did not stop picking it up and buying things because the following week my parents were coming to see me and I wanted everything packed for their arrival.

"Hello" said someone entering the cafeteria.

"Hi, I'll take care of you right now" I said as I finished placing some things under the counter.

"No problem" she said.

I finished and went up little by little but had not seen who had entered.

"Lando" I said surprised to see him and I couldn't help but smile.

"How are you?" Lando asked.

"Well now the truth is much better." Said. "Do you want us to have a drink and talk?"

"Well, taking advantage of the fact that you don't have anyone is a good idea," Lando said.

"You have come at the time when nobody comes so better. What do you want to drink?"

"I leave you to your choice" he said as he sat down at the bar and I prepared one of the best cold chocolates we had.

I brought the chocolates, something salty to snack on, and I sat in front of him but always inside the bar in case someone came.

"What brings you here?" I asked still a little surprised that I had it there.

"I hadn't seen you for several days and you didn't answer my messages and I turned around and seeing you here, I didn't hesitate to go in" she said and I smiled.

"You can play at home if you see me there and I don't answer" I said.

"I know, but I am a bit embarrassed because I do not want to bother you since surely you arrive tired" he said and I looked at him with a "can you be more good?" Face.

"That's nothing, for you I always look for time so there is no problem" I said and he smiled and turned a little red.

"Okay, I'll write it down" Lando said.

We were talking and getting up to date on what we had done this week and the truth is that the life of an athlete I have not known for a long time that was not something related to their profession.

"So, when do you leave?" asked.

"Next week, Monday to be exact," he said.

"Oh what a shame, my parents come on Monday but if you want when you come back, I'll buy you the pizza you told me" I said hoping that Lando would say yes.

"Sounds like an incredible idea to me" he said and took what was left of the chocolate.

"Well you know when you come" I said.

"Let's see, you also have to answer the messages because if not I don't know if you are here or if you have gone to Spain" Lando said.

"Okay, sorry, but don't worry, I'm not going to Spain, whoever wants to see me has to come, because if it's because of me no one knows anything about me for a long time" I said and Lando looked at me confused.

"Really? Well, I'm already learning." Lando said. "The boys haven't stopped talking about doing something together before you start classes."

"It would be a very good idea, because when I start classes I'm not a person and I don't do much social life" I said.

"Are you going to make me get you out of the house?" Lando asked.

"No, I prefer to watch movies at home, I enjoy it much more" I said.

"It still seems great to me, the important thing is not the place but who you are with." Lando said and I got too red. "I have to go to training, how much is this?"

"I invite you because of the surprise you have given me" I said and left the bar.

"And I would do it a thousand times more for my favorite neighbor" Lando said.

He approached me and it was I who gave her a hug.

"Until another day, neighbor" Lando said and disappeared.
