Last day(part 2)

"I struggle so much with this stupid dances" said Adrick kicking Nuri.

"So, you're a dancer? "

"No, just prom dance"

"Girlfriend Huh"?

" She was a witch, I am telling you... just controlling me at every aspect and above all I didn't love her... it was just every girl wanted to dance with me, so I had to choose one"

"Oh! I can see the popularity"

"Yeah, I was a sort of popular in my high school"

"Why would I be"?

" Tell me something about your high school prom, was the partner Amit"?

"Prom? In India? Is it a joke or what... we don't have proms back in India"

"Whaaaat? That's strange"

"In short, it's just illegal for our neighbours to even stand near a guy and you're talking about prom"

"But besides Prom, Amit had always been my partner in every event, he was always there, I just miss him sometimes"

" So, he came into my life in fifth grade... he moved to our locality back then with his family and is the only son of his parents... The first time I saw him, I had just started my period, it was just too early for me.. but anyways... hormones hit me different at that time... "Listen further... I started developing feelings but I don't know why the feelings diminished at the end of 11th standard... but I was always protective of him and so was he... one more reason was that I always feared of losing him, so we remained friends always"

"And when I was selected in harvard, he was the happiest among all and when I left, he was the one weeping the most, at the moment I just wanted to give him a tight hug"

" I gave him, that lasted for 25 minutes approx and I didn't wanted to leave him, it's sad how things change between two people"

"We have been dancing so gracefully from 10 minutes"

An announcement was made to gather everyone near the trial room and fit into their dresses.

There was an announcement for the commencement of dance. They both danced gracefully lost in each other's eyes and at the end of the dance, they both kissed again... kissed as if there was no tomorrow.

"I wish this was our wedding day" whispered Adrick
