First Hints....

A week passed by and finally it was the day Ana was to visit them. Adrick had asked Nuri the previous night to accompany him.

"That boy has now started to introduce you to his family now? That's sick">... said Ariket.

" You two are just out of this world... he's just introducing me to her as she's a teenager too... in fact I am thinking about relating you to her... Mumma's dream to get a foreigner as a daughter in law will be fulfilled"laughed Nuri

"I don't mind you introducing her to me" Laughed Ariket.....

"Okay fine now let me sleep we have to get her early morning"

Nuri slept peacefully. The next day they went to Get Ana. Based on the looks of Adrick it was obvious that Ana would be as beautiful as him. She too had gorgeous blue eyes, cheeks as red as an apple and blonde but straight hair.

"Oh! you're Nuri, the angel to my brother's grateful college life, the handkerchief to his precious tears... Am I being cheesy?"

"Oh stop it Ana, this is not funny" Said Adrick

They took her to their favourite place, the park which became their centre of attraction from the night of apologies They both talked for while till Adrick bought them blueberry cheese cupcakes.

"I can tell you're more beautiful than my brother describes you.. you're such an angel"

After speaking for a few more minutes, Nuri left for her room promising Ana to give a tour of the campus the next day.

"Ana... what's wrong with you? you're just giving her multiple hints unnecessarily... Haven't I told you the incident few days back? There's something in her eyes for that Guy Amit and you know different ethnicities just don't work everytime"

"Adrick, being honest you're just exaggerating the matter, how can you be so sure about that guy? I too have guy friends"

"But she has him from the past 7-8 years, that's not a good sign to have a guy best friend for so many years and an only friend and above all he seems to be a nice guy"

"Stop overthinking Adrick, for now she seems interested in none of you, she's focused.. it's better you too focus more on your grades... this scholarship isn't easy enough to get.. feel lucky... For now, I'll just go checkout to the guest room and take a rest and you better start studying and stop worrying... I believe in you... if she's yours, she'll definitely come to you... but in urge of relationship please don't loose a gem like her"

"I am not in any hurry but I just.... I just... I just feel insecure sometimes... Thank you for understanding me but please do the work I have called you here for"

"Sure! I'll be the best sister you have ever wished for... "

They left for their respective rooms. But Adrick called Nuri

"Hey! I just wanted to say are you up for studying financial economics near the pond"?

" Adrick, you know I'll be busy glancing at the pond and you at me... "

"Nuri, you have started that again now? You're not a diva that I'll just look at you, any other place? "

"Let's go to Starbucks... it's on me today... grab your laptop with you... Mine hasn't arrived yet"

They met at Starbucks and ordered cold brew this time.. As usual Nuri was more interested in calculations and Adrick in her.

"Adrick, can you please stop staring me" laughed Nuri.

"I am not staring you, Just look at that girl behind you... She's hot"

Nuri raised her eyebrow.

"What? Jealous? Are you? "

"Oh no...No... not at all... " she just stammered... I'll just go back to my room... I am tired as hell"

"Oh see who's just running away from the fact that she's jealous of me staring at other girls".

" Oh Adrick ... Stop it now.... and she blushed....

"Wow bro this is what you're studying? "

"Can you just stop being so bossy"

"Whatever! "

"Would like a small walk to downtown area? "

"No, I would love to enjoy my latte here alone"

"Anyways I was just leaving... Come on Nuri let's go... this girl has gone out of her senses. "

"Stop Adrick, she's so sweet... sorry.. today I just didn't have enough time for you... I'll catch you tomorrow morning I promise... "

"Not as sweet as you.. I'll meet you tomorrow"

They left.

"So, someone finally has a crush on me"

"Crush? On you? You're worst than the ghost in my nightmares"

"Am I? Then look straight into my eyes

They caught each others glances for 2 minutes and just shyed away.

" Okay, Now I am leaving... She left and Adrick just kept looking at her till Ana had to come and bring him back to real world"
