Chapter 11

Traveling with a cold man and a flat face is actually not as bad as Fara thought, Yasa was still the same personality from the start, only talking when it was important, even when in the car, he only occasionally sighed without Fara knowing the reason.

It doesn't matter to Fara, Yasa's silence can be a reason for Fara to breathe a sigh of relief. She hates being asked things she doesn't want to answer at all, despite all the school supplies, Yasa doesn't utter a word to make small talk.

After spending more than three hours traveling at night with the man, Fara seemed unable to rest for a moment even to prepare herself mentally. Yasa had told her that the next morning she had to go to her new school which was located far from her hometown.

And now it's time for her to say many prayers through her mind, while the man who was driving nearby was seen occasionally turning to Fara who looked tense.

"Where will my class be? What class am I in?" Fara suddenly asked a question, breaking the silence in the car.

"On the west side of the administration room, you are placed in class 12 A."

The girl nodded before realizing something. "Wait, did you say? Crazy, I'm not that smart." She gave a protest to the man who currently turned his gaze towards Fara.

"Don't brag, you even got a scholarship at your old school."

That's true, but of course it feels different if she has to be in the model class instantly, without doing anything. In fact, in her old school she had to study hard to fulfill all of them.

"What if the subjects are different from what I'm used to? I don't want to be labeled as a fool who was placed in an honors class for bribing the principal."

Yasa first pulled the car over while rolling his eyes in embarrassment. Seeing a fairly tall building in front of him made Fara even more frantic, it turned out that she had arrived at the new place. Come on, Fara is not used to being surrounded by humans who have been armed with golden spoons since she was a baby.

"What's different? Unless you continue your education abroad. Besides, I didn't bribe the headmaster. He's already considered it after seeing the final result you got from your report card."

What the man said was true. Fara secretly felt relieved again, her stomach which was originally aching from imagining how the students would treat her in there, slowly improved.

He took a deep breath then threw the oxygen out roughly. She did it three times, making Yasa shake his head a little with a faint smile on his lips.

"Why? Are you afraid of being bullied?" Yasa asked then, he got a piercing and annoyed look from Fara.

"I told you, I've never been bullied," except for the fate that bullied me, Fara continued her sentence in her heart.

"Whatever it is, you'd better go inside. The bell will ring in a minute." Yasa took off Fara's safety belt, cash made the girl hold her breath because Yasa's face was in front of her.

While looking at the man's face which turned out to be perfect with a sharp nose and thick eyebrows, don't forget his firm jaw and white skin, Fara really made it difficult to blink.

Next, Fara turned her gaze away from Yasa who was watching her appearance, she was made to have difficulty breathing again when Yasa fixed Fara's hair that fell no longer than her shoulders. Then, it was hard to believe when the man smiled faintly at her.

"No one will bully you with this appearance. Come in quickly, don't disappoint me with your work." Yasa pulled away, successfully making Fara nod slightly and open the car door. She walked slowly while imagining what Yasa's face looked like a few seconds ago.

Forget it, the man had already left in his car.

Fara's gaze cannot be separated from some of the beautiful scenery in the school, the lush gardens and fish ponds that look refreshing to the eyes. The school was beautiful, some male students were running here and there. The female student looked elegant, maybe just like her, the knee-length skirt with long socks, and the school shirt covered with a gray almameter made her look even more elegant than before.

She walked down the corridor of the school, trying to find an administrative room like what Yasa had told her. Her ears accidentally heard a small noise in the toilet she passed, Fara stopped her steps for a moment, watching the poor girl who was being bullied all-out by three female friends.

There was confusion that befell her, from the many students who passed by, why was there no one who stopped this despicable act? Honestly, Fara wanted to come forward and stop the treatment of the three women, but considering she was just a new student who didn't want to get into trouble, she couldn't help the girl.

He walked away from there with heavy steps, in front of her was seen the administration room. Her limbs immediately stepped quickly, entering the room by not forgetting to say hello.

"Excuse me," a middle-aged man who was struggling with his laptop looked at her, the man closed his laptop and then took off his glasses.

"Oh, come here, you're the new student who was enrolled yesterday, aren't you?"

"That's right, sir."

The two of them talked a little about Fara's old school problems until her classroom which turned out to be on the top floor. Oh come on, did Yasa lie to her?

"All right—oh, Davin!" Fara turned her gaze back, found a man with a stack of books in his hands stopped his steps after the headmaster called him.

The handsome man with an expressionless face only raised an eyebrow at the principal. Fara thought, is the school not taught manners and politeness?

"She's Fara, the new student in your class. Take her to her class." A moment later, the man turned his gaze towards Fara, making Fara feel annoyed why did the man have a gaze filled with hatred? Can't he just smile a little?

"Come with me." Only those short words left his mouth, leaving the room without paying any respect to the headmaster.

"Then I'll excuse myself, sir." Fara bowed slightly, then jogged after the man's steps.

Honestly, Fara felt awkward having to walk side by side with a man who was taller than her, maybe not far from Yasa's body. The two of them entered the library, Fara still followed the man, like a pet dog that would follow its master wherever the man went.

"Let me help." Fara took small steps while helping the man arrange the books on the shelf that he had brought with him.

However, just as Fara had forgotten the fact that she was short and that the book had to be placed on the highest shelf, she cursed herself before tiptoeing to reach the shelf.

Out of control and expectation, Fara had to feel the rain of books when she accidentally dropped a number of books on the shelf, causing her to widen her eyes and direct her gaze to Davin who was looking at her with the same expression on her face as before.

"If you can't help it, you'd better be quiet."

Honestly, Fara felt so embarrassed!
