Chapter 10

A bad thought just happened to the man who was about to return to continue his sweet dream on the sofa. His ears didn't hear wrong, right? No sound was heard from upstairs, to be precise the room Fara was in.

He thought, why the girl again silent? Why doesn't it make any sound anymore? "Ah, I don't care, I just want to rest before hunting." He said annoyed with himself.

However, his mind was attacked again, "what if something happens to her? Then Yasa accuses me of something wrong?" Sean asked himself.

"Aish, dammit!" He got up, taking his wobbly steps up. He reached into his trouser pocket to find the key Yasa had left with him before he left this morning.

Before that, Sean put his ear to the surface of the door, trying to clearly hear the sound coming from inside. But no, he didn't hear any sound.

Crack!

"Hey! Why did you touch it?!"

Fara gasped, the girl dropped the photo in her hand reflexively. Her body moved backwards in sync with her thoughts, "Oh my god what is this? Who is this man?" Fara thought, afraid.

The man took long strides, hastily bent down to reach for the medium-sized photo that the girl had been staring at for some time. He threw a sharp glare at Fara who was trying hard to suppress her saliva. His gaze shifted to some of their important documents and a box containing their weapons and important items.

In his heart he cursed harshly at Yasa, "stupid! How can he put this girl in the same place with important items belonging to our headquarters?!" He cursed internally.

"You didn't touch it at all, did you?" Fara's give a short nod.

"Then how did this photo get in your hands?"

"Huh?" Sean rolled his eyes lazily, it turns out that the girl is very slow, he doesn't like girls who are difficult to catch his words.

"W-ah, I accidentally found it down there, I was just curious so I took it. I swear, I didn't mean anything." Her hands formed a 'V' shape trying to reassure and soften the sharp glare the stranger threw at her.

"You can't just sit there in bed? Why are you walking around this room?" There was a sense of relief for Fara because the man's intonation had decreased slightly, although she felt confused because she was being interrogated.

"Sorry, I'm just bored. I've been here for a long time, could you please help release me?" Fara focused her gaze on the man in front of her, they clashed with each other before Sean broke their eye contact by rolling his eyes.

"Ask Yasa, he brought you here. I don't want to interfere." Sean stepped back, twisting his body to leave the room.

"What's your relationship with that man?" Sean turned his head before his leg touched the door barrier, he stared with an eyebrow that dipped at Fara.

"Which man, who are you talking about?" His arms folded across his chest to form a bridge.

"The man who brought me here."

"His name is Yasa, and I've been friends with him since we were a grain of corn." Fara just nodded in understanding, making the man standing in front of her just shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

"Thank goodness, I thought you two were a gay couple."

Sean managed to stop his steps with rounded eyes, he was furious with a small murmur from the girl's mouth. "What?!"

Now it was Fara's turn to jump holding her chest. Getting a sharp look and a breath of venom from Sean made her shut her mouth for a moment.

"Jesus! Did you hear that?" She asked which again invited a sense of emotion from Sean.

"Of course! Your voice is too big to mumble." It was very clear that in every word Sean said, there was an emotion that he harbored.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that, I was just relieved."

"What a relief- Aishh, never mind! I hope you can get out of here soon!" Sean closed the bedroom door roughly, not forgetting to lock it again, afraid that the girl would run away from there, even though Yasa had entrusted it to him.

"I hope so too," this time Fara squeaked softly.

While down there, Sean stepped into the kitchen, looking for any cold liquid in the refrigerator to calm his emotions. Well, he found no water, only two cans of soda. The fridge also looks so empty.

"It's too bad the owner of this house can't fill the refrigerator. It's useless you are rich Yasa!" He took three gulps of it, leaving the canned empty.

"I can hear you."

Sean is not surprised, because his best friend often appears suddenly, his words are always true, he will arrive sooner than expected.

His body turned behind the pantry table, he found Yasa who was holding two large bags in his hands. It's staple food and some snacks.

He walked past Sean's body, began to unpack the contents of his groceries at the supermarket earlier. In fact, he bought it on his way to his late mother's luxurious house.

"Hurry up and bring the stock of drinking water that's in the trunk of my car. And damn it! I forgot." He chuckled softly, rolling up the sleeves of the Hoodie up to his elbows.

"Sean, you put it all together, there's something I want to talk to the girl about." Yasa lightly patted Sean's shoulder before leaving without waiting for the man's answer.

The sound of footsteps from Yasa's shoes tapping against the floor made the girl who was originally pensive raise his head. He turned towards the door, heard someone unlocking the door from outside, he got up from his seat, trying to be on guard.

Check!

The first thing that happened was, their eyes clashed with each other, Fara slowly put down the pillow she had been holding without taking her eyes off Yasa, and vice versa.

Fara let out a sigh of relief again, Yasa cleared his throat slowly before walking towards the girl. "Why?" That calm voice with an expressionless face appeared again.

"I thought the guy from earlier, I was just in case."

"The man from earlier?" Fara nodded.

"Sean?" Fara shrugged her shoulders, "maybe."

"What about him?" Yasa asked again.

"He's mad that I touched your photo. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to violate your privacy by touching it. But, really, I didn't touch anything other than that." The V finger Fara showed again.

"No problem," Yasa answered briefly, just an ordinary photo, after all Yasa and Sean are different but they have the same abilities. Yasa is able to control everything even with a calm and cold face, while Sean can control everything by showing his anger.

"I've enrolled you in a school far from where you were before. Just tell me if someone bullies you there."

"Tsk, I already said I've never been bullied by anyone." Fara tries to defend herself.

"I know you're too embarrassed to admit it."

The two then created silence, Fara lost in thought, while the man was busy looking at Fara who looked frustrated.

"Oh, yes. I forgot your school uniform, I will take you to vote tonight."

After saying that without an answer coming out of Fara's mouth, Yasa just walked away. The girl didn't know whether to thank him or not. Shre wanted to rebel again, but on the one hand she felt safe there.

I don't know, everything happened too fast, and Fara felt, she needed more time to understand and digest everything.
