Alex still was cradling Susan. He had his hands tightened around her. His chin placed on above her head.
Susan squinted her eyes and looked around, she found herself on Alex's lap. She hurriedly got down from his lap but winched in pain. Alex stood up, towering her body. Without saying anything, Alex scooped her in his arms but this time in bridal style. Susan was shocked at his act,
"Al, what are you doing? Put me down. I'll fall." Susan said. She was panicked as she thought she will fall down.
"I'll never let you fall. Not on the ground and not also for anyone else." Alex said the last line in his head. He was looking like a maniac.
Alex carried her all the way to Susan's house. Reaching the house, he gestured Susan to ring the bell. Susan obliged by and rang the bell. The door cracked open revealing granny with her specs on.
